Tatsunoko is the equivalent..think of it as the Japanese Hannah Barbera. Came around the 60's. I never really got into it but I a familiar with some of the characters from their shows from when I was a kid. A lot of the shows never made it to America and only got big in Europe and south America.

What this game needs is 4-player fights. That would be epic while fitting the Wii's image.

I also hope the North American version gets a few exclusive characters or stages.

It's not going to get anything the Japs don't already have, except for exclusive characters maybe. If there's no online in Japan there won't be here, because nothing gets patched or gets DLC on the Wii.

I think new characters would be relatively easy during the localization process.

The release of Tatsunoko vs Capcom in North America will change a bit from its Japanese counterpart, Capcom has announced. The North American release eliminates one character from the Tatsunoko side of the roster and adds five new fighters not found in the original game. Not only that, but the North American version of the game will also have online play, a feature the original Japanese release cannot boast.

I've barely played fighting games since my brothers and I grew up and moved out; I picked it up today because I got a lot more credit for my games than I expected. So far it's pretty good. I just hope I can get a list of people who will actually play it regularly. That is pretty hard to find on the Wii. None of my actual friends will play Brawl online anymore.

Online is so much better than Brawl. I've only had one fight with lag and it was only for a few seconds at the beginning. Every other fight has been lag free. I'm still not that good at it. I guess I'm ok at it. I have a wife so I'm not going to be anywhere near as good as some of these nerds online.

It's in your player data in the Nintendo Wi-Fi section. I wrote mine down in a puzzle book that my wife put somewhere and is now sleeping and I don't feel like turning on the game to get it again because I'll end up playing it for an hour so I'll just do this run on sentence instead.
