Last year I read a Halo book, The Fall of Reach (haven't played a game) and really enjoyed it. It was about John growing up and becoming Master Chief, and ended with them finding a Halo planet (or whatever they are). So, I want to go through the games. I have Halo 1 & 2 already.

Yeah, behind all the hype that may turn off people is a great mythology. There was never a game based on Fall of Reach (though one has been rumored). Halo's a truly great IP, that just so happens to have fantastic multiplayer. I love it.

Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past - Completely stuck in the 5th dungeon of the Dark World. Haven't made any progress in about three weeks. No idea what to do.

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Beat the forest temple, now I have no idea what to do. Last three times I have played the game I have done nothing but wander around Death Mountain, Goron City, Market, Lake Hylia, and tried to do just about anything I can.

Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker - At the first dungeon thing.

MOTHER - Just got through the Zoo

Star Ocean: The Second Story - #7 and #8 of the Ten Wise Men. I assume this is the second or third to last battle. Been stuck here for a while, even after going 5 minutes in battle they have a few moves that can kill me if I am not at full health.

Punch-Out!! Wii - Super Macho Man, 2nd to last guy.

Metal Gear Solid - Somewhere near the beginning. I forget.

Final Fantasy 8 - Dunno haven't played in a while. Near the beginning.

No, I'm not saying this because the game's are 'alike' and maps based on New York always look like 'New York'. Well, the only way I actually came to the realization that [PROTOTYPE] is set in Manhattan only, and not the rest of New York, is through having played GTA IV, and realizing that the GTA IV map is way bigger, and includes all 4 boroughs plus Jersey.

Super Paper Mario

I always kinda hated Paper Mario because it's required that any girl who plays video games has to love it but my friend let me borrow it. It's pretty good. I like the music.

It's already out in Japan, so I'm sure he's playing a burnt copy.

A lot of it does seem like filler, but all 3 sword games, frizbee golf, table tennis and 3-on-3 basketball are all worth it.

Bowling shows how much of a difference motionplus makes as well.

I should also add that the swordfighting one where you destroy lots of Miis and run around is best enjoyed drunk with friends who make lightsaber noises :shifty:

I dusted off my DS and picked up some games for it during a buy 2 get 1 free deal at Gamestop.
I got Starfox, Age Of Mythology and Populous. I haven't played Starfox yet but Populous is very fun. I don't know for how long though since the gameplay is terribly repetitive. But AOM takes me back to the old days when I had the computer version and I played it like there was no tomorrow.
