ECW 6/2/09
Sorry, I had to start this thread after watching the horrible acting job done by Tony Atlas and Mark Henry.
"I wuz just tryin ta help." |

Kidd vs Christian should be good

Weird looking finisher for Ryder

What the Fuck?
Ryder is a joke. |
Why is Helms a backstage interviewer now?
|
I think he got hurt again.
|
Ryder could get some steam going if he got some mic time
|
Is it just me or is Katie Lea really hot?

I also find Natalya attractive, although I can't really find any reason why.
|
The ECW belt is horrible.
|
GREAT match
|
Seems like Mark Henry is gonna dump Tony Atlas as his manager. I'd like to see Atlas go face and begin managing Ezekiel Jackson instead...gives them both something to do.
WOO WOO WOO. Ryder is cool, hopefully they'll put him over once he starts fighting actual superstars and not locals. I really hope Tommy wins, but I have a hard time seeing it. |
the only reason atlas is henry's manager is so he can travel with him and prevent him from eating so much food that he ballons to 800 lbs
|
I like Zack Ryder for some reason. He's very young, so I have hope that he can develop into a great talent with time. What I'd like to see, is for him to start interacting with Vladimir Kozlov. Do not ask me why, but it just seems that they're both pretty directionless and alternating squash segments each week. Get Zack Ryder to come out and call Kozlov boring one week, and then try and make Kozlov's segments "interesting" by lining up challenges for him.
Apparently the Christian versus Tyson Kidd match was great. This makes me want to watch ECW. I'm glad The Hart Dynasty is getting a chance to shine. And yes, Natalya is very hot. As is Katie Lea. I would bang both, and they just so happen to be two of the more talented women on the roster. They could wrestle back and forth for an ECW Women's Title until the day they retire, and I would be a very happy man. |
Not to mention Ryder's theme is incredible.
|
Is it just me or does ECW have the best booking of all the WWE shows?

Are you hiding some secret feelings for the Anvil? |

Ryder seems to be becoming one of those guys that people either are really behind, or are really annoyed by. Either way, at least people are actually caring about the guy now. He just can't keep wrestling in squashes, though.
|
Ryder is fucking amazing.
|
you know it

As Oscar Wilde once said - 'There's only one thing worse than being talked about, and that is, NOT being talked about'. If fans are either an ardent supporter or vehemently against him, it is far better than people simply being 'meh'. |
And hey, if people hate him -- he's a heel. It's his job. I still think that he should interrupt Vladimir Kozlov's next squash, and tell him he is boring. Ryder then becomes Kozlov's "challenge arranger," and begins a sort of love-hate relationship with the guy. The dude just needs a program.
Paul Burchill is the goods, too. The guy seems a bit dead in the water as far as direction goes, but inside the ring, the dude is crisp. The way he took Dreamer's DDT was excellent. I'd love to see Burchill and Finlay go at it. Burchill's at least proving himself to be dependable, and I think that will work well for him until he is drafted to either RAW or SmackDown! next year. Then Katie Lea can do more, as well. Jack Swagger is impressing me. They're giving the guy the mic more and more, and he's running with it. The guy is just a good promo. Maybe not the best ever, but he's precise. That he can back it up in the ring is a good thing. The man is going to be either WWE or World Heavyweight Champion one day, if there is any justice in the world. I'm still thinking he might be the best choice in the WWE to end The Undertaker's streak. |
Also, I hope they call Ryder's version of The Golden Rule "Woo Woo Woo! You Know It!"
