Same.

Gonna try and catch it in 3D though.

Anyone else hate how Disney try and brand technology to be their own? I don't know why it bugs me, but Disney DVD and Disney Digital really piss me off

ct2k 06-04-2009 09:32 AM

2010?!! :'(

Supreme Olajuwon 06-04-2009 10:20 AM

Who's gonna do the voice for Slink? You can't replace Jim Varney.

Zeeboe 06-04-2009 11:30 AM

I was 12-years old when I saw the first Toy Story. I'm going to be 27 when I see part III....

Jon Kano 06-04-2009 11:36 AM

Shittest trailer ever.

Fignuts 06-04-2009 11:44 AM

It's just a teaser.

With over a year away, they prolly don't have enough to show in an actual trailer

Penner 06-04-2009 11:56 AM

A year? WTH

Disturbed316 06-04-2009 12:12 PM

There's a snake in my boots!

Savio 06-04-2009 12:31 PM

Somebody Poisoned the water hole!

ClockShot 06-04-2009 01:29 PM

Only details I know is that Mike Keaton has a voice role, and the backstory is that Andy goes off to College and the toys try to go with him or something along that line.

Disturbed316 06-04-2009 01:44 PM

lol sounds shit, but will be awesome no doubt.

Lock Jaw 06-04-2009 04:43 PM

Can't wait. Should be Awesome.

Jeritron 06-04-2009 07:26 PM

I have loved the pixar movies, but Toy Story is still their crowning jewel.

I have no real doubts that this will be a great time.

Volchok 06-04-2009 07:28 PM

I love Toy Story

I heard that the storyline was that he goes off to College, and they're dropped off at a daycare.
The conflict is that Buzz Lightyears are recalled to Japan. Cue the adventure.

Lock Jaw 06-04-2009 07:40 PM

Buzz gets recalled to Japan is from an old script made when Pixar split from Disney. Since getting back together, that script was abandoned. Too bad. Would have loved to see some crazy Japanese toys.

Jeritron 06-04-2009 07:50 PM

Either way I trust Pixar's decision. I'm sure whatever the plot is will be in the best interest of the characters, and the humor.
I'm sure whatever they chose will be better than what Disney was going to go with when they were developing it without Pixar's involvement.

Pixar's an amazing company, and with their track record it is hard to question them.

The are also re-releasing Toy Story 1 (10/2/09) and 2 (2/12/10) in 3D Theatres only.

DaveWadding 06-06-2009 02:36 PM

Seeing this teaser made me feel so old. and it made me remember how blown away I was by Toy Story.

Savio 06-06-2009 05:11 PM

Toy Story was the best movie ever made.

Shaggy 06-07-2009 04:38 PM

From what I heard the villian for the movie is actually a pink bear that can be seen in "UP" in a scene where a little girl is looking out the window at a house. You can see the bear next to the bed.

Pixar artist does realistic Buzz Lightyear for shits and giggles.

http://cache.gawkerassets.com/assets...2627_large.jpg

Interesting.

Jeritron 02-25-2010 04:14 PM

Needs a bigger chin

Hardkore Kidd J 02-25-2010 04:58 PM

Interesting.

It's probably not for shits and giggles. I guarantee there will be some reference to a "Buzz Lightyear" movie in TS#

Kalyx triaD 02-25-2010 09:29 PM

Hmm...

Destor 02-26-2010 02:27 AM

if joss whedon isnt behind this it will be shit.

Supreme Olajuwon 02-27-2010 02:12 PM

The screenplay was written by the guy who wrote Little Miss Sunshine. These are his only two writing credits though, which is interesting.

Destor 02-28-2010 04:58 PM

i loved little miss sunshine, but like i said, no wheadon no dice. i`ll pass.

Jeritron 02-28-2010 06:25 PM

Did Whedon have anything to do with the second?

ClockShot 06-26-2010 03:05 PM

Just got back.

SPOILER: show
Much respect for Disney for showing some love to Hayao Miyazaki and getting Totoro in there.

G 06-27-2010 10:25 PM

Saw this tonight and it was pretty damn good. Right up there with the first 2.

BizarroKing 08-22-2010 01:31 AM

I'm man enough to admit the ending was so beautifully touching it brought me to tears...so getting the DVD November 2nd.

Requiem 08-22-2010 03:00 PM

Firefly/Serenity are

Also, just watched this and it was awesome. Loved it the whole way through.

RaginRonic 08-22-2010 06:08 PM

Looks like Toy Story 3 will become the 1st animated movie to hit the $1 Billion mark worldwide next weekend. =)

And yeah, bring on Nov. 2. That movie was awesome. =D

V 08-23-2010 05:19 AM

watched it a while ago. incredible

had a tear in my eye at the end.

Disney/Pixar pulled off an amazing, perfect ending.

RaginRonic 08-28-2010 11:54 PM

History made this weekend(Aug. 27-29).

Toy Story 3 has now become the first ever animated film to gross over $1 Billion worldwide. As a result, the Walt Disney Company has also become the 1st Hollywood studio to field 2 $1 Billion+ films in the same year as well, Alice in Wonderland-Tim Burton version being the other.

Jimmy Cones 04-09-2011 05:21 AM

Mother of fuck. Less then year ago I was on a 6+ year streak of not crying. That ended around Halloween. I figured "Oh well whatever, let's see how long I can go this time." Yeah right. This thing had me balling like a fucking baby.

Kudos.

Jimmy Cones 04-09-2011 05:21 AM

Yeah, just saw it now.

RP 04-09-2011 10:42 AM

Ive had people tell me it should have one best picture at the Oscars. I've also seem people on tv say as much.

Inadequacy 04-09-2011 01:05 PM

Well it's true

dronepool 04-09-2011 01:15 PM

I just saw it last night via Netflix and it was pretty good, I enjoyed it.

Skippord 04-09-2011 10:52 PM

came fairly close to crying when I watched it

Nicky Fives 05-06-2011 11:42 PM
