Bret was never a heel. He was a classic, old-school, white meat, babyface. Even in 97'. He was only booed in the States at that time, so therefore it was cool to cheer for him if you were American like yours truly because he was never really a heel in my view.

Never been a fan of Regal. I know it is not a popular thought here, but idk what it is about him

I tell ya, watching the above, and the last clip I posted, seeing Bret when he could still wrestle, and Neidhart, and Pillman, the Bulldog, and Owen....:(.......and heck, even Lawler acting the way he use to be, then I watch today's stuff, and I wanna cry. :'(
