BREAKING NEWS UPDATE RE: EDGE'S POSSIBLE ANKLE INJURY
- We received a report last night from a fan in attendance at the SmackDown/ECW live event in San Diego saying Edge was injured during his match with Jeff Hardy. The fan says Edge was running towards Jeff when it appeared he twisted or broke his ankle and that his foot was in a very awkward position. The match was stopped, EMT's came running to Edge and he was helped to the back but not before he told the fans "sorry" on the mic.

Furthermore, Dave Meltzer says the injury may be a torn Achilles tendon and that they had only been actually wrestling for about a minute. This would be a serious injury for one-half of the WWE Unified Tag Team Champions that would likely require surgery and put him out of action for a while.

Meltzer also reports that WWE are most likely going to try and figure out a way to get the belts on Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase and if you haven't read RAW spoilers for next week, we will find out more about that on Monday. Word is that WWE is looking at footage of the Edge vs. The Great Khali match taped on Wednesday night for next Friday's SmackDown to see if there's a spot in the match where they can claim a storyline injury happened.

Hey, this could turn into something bigger i just thought about. Jericho gets Ziggy and one or two more people to join him as a faction that wears suits, believes in conspiracy theories, sort of like a corporation looking team. This can give Jericho even MORE massive heat than he already generates. Ziggy can be kind of like "The Rock" was with the corporation back in the day. This can get him waaay over because his attitude can be laid back, break rules, not give a shit, etc. Then him and Jericho have a fued leading up WM or next year. That would be cool.

The TRUTH of the matter, is that many posters can out-troll Heyman.

I'm not actually too keen on there only being one set of belts between the shows. I'd rather they split them up, with Jericho makes the excuse that the schedule has proven to be too gruelling. Let Jericho take the World Tag Team Championship with him to SmackDown!, and appoint Dolph Ziggler his new partner -- while Cryme Tyme, The Hart Dynasty, Jimmy Wang Yang & Kung Fu Naki and a team from FCW do some work around those parts.

I hope they go the replacement route. It's a chance for a newer superstar to team with Jericho and get instant exposure. But what would be possible is opening it up to the enter WWE. Jericho and Edge were able to go on all three shows. Why shouldn't Jericho be able to pick a new partner from any show? Then they could do some kind of mini-tournament or battle royal with guys from all three brands.

I know I haven't been around as much lately as I have been, but I hope you don't think that I don't love you as much as I ever did.

Ugh this blows. I was really enjoying Edge, especially since he was distanced from Vicki Guerrero. It could be for the best though, give him time to heal up and recharge his batteries.

Yeah it will totally fucking suck if they pull the BS of putting the tag straps on Legacy. They better shop Jericho around RAW and SmackDown! (can't really think of any current ECW talent that would be worth it, although with how jerky Abraham Washington is, I would like to think he won't go wasted in his early WWE career as just another one-off talk-show guy.) The stuff in parenthesis having been said, it wasn't all that long ago that Jericho last had a Highlight Reel, so, this could be a golden opportunity if only WWE Creative or Vince or Linda would read just this one post and go with it. No truly rational reason just dont like him, so no loss to me.
