To Catch a Predator

Anyone else love this show? I've spent hours upon hours this summer rewatching every episode on You Tube, including some I've never seen.

It's a crying shame "To Catch a Predator" was canceled. I'd also love it if they came out with episodes on DVD/blu-ray with tons of special features.

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/5CnDkYYwiqg&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&color1=0x5d1719&color2=0xcd311b"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/5CnDkYYwiqg&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&color1=0x5d1719&color2=0xcd311b" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

 I litreally had tears in my eyes from laughing so hard at that guy. He sounds like the Water Boy. I also love the way he says "kit-kats". He says it so proudly! Most of those Short-Eyed freaks bring beer and rubbers, but not this guy! He has kit-kats, man! KIT-KATS! Man, he's so cool!

Kami Raki 07-12-2009 04:18 PM

This is truly one of the best shows ever made.

Zeeboe 07-12-2009 04:29 PM

PUT THAT IN DA FUCKIN' FRIDGE!

He REALLY wants to extract full use of that fridge.....

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/duDxzoFTPWY&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&color1=0x006699&color2=0x54abd6"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/duDxzoFTPWY&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&color1=0x006699&color2=0x54abd6" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

Damn, he really wants his beer cold. Maybe he has a thing with keeping things cold, being cold, temp control, etc. At 1:03, after the decoy asks him what they'll do, he tells them they'll "chill out". He should move to the South Pole. It would be one giant fridge he could sit in all day with his frosty beers......

DECOY: I want to suck your cock.

PREDATOR: You can put that in the fridge.

DECOY: Yeah, but can you fuck me in the ass real quick?

PREDATOR: Yeah, whatever, but you can put that in the fridge.

DECOY: I want you to cum in me.

PREDATOR: Yes, you can cum in the fridge.

DECOY: Ugh.....

[Decoy storms away.]

[Chris Hansen comes out.]

HANSEN: Hi. How you doing tonight? I have this chat log.

PREDATOR: You can put that chat log in the fridge.

(Later at the police station.....)

COP: You're under arrest for soliciting a minor online for sex.

PREDATOR: Okay, but did Chris put the beer in the fridge?

(Two months later....)

JUDGE: You're sentenced to six years, hard time to San Quentin for attempted rape of a minor.

PREDATOR: Okay, but did Chris remember to put it in the fridge??!!

(Predator is in prison.)

CELLMATE: Here's my dick coming at ya!!

PREDATOR: You can put it in the fridge.

(Predator spreads butt cheeks wide open.)

PREDATOR: Ever do it on the fridge? I wanna be top!

CELLMATE: I don't normally do this. I'm not gay or anything. I'm just saying......

PREDATOR: That's okay. Neither am I, and don't use a rubber. I wanna do it raw, no rubbers here. I don't like any barriers when I'm fridge packing.

Zeeboe 07-12-2009 04:59 PM

HANSEN: Have you been drinking tonight?

PREDATOR: No not dat oall, you can smell my breath, not dat oall.

HANSEN: No that's okay, I don't need to do that.....

- Chris Hansen pwnage.

I love the way the predator is so loud. Even in the chatroom, he's typing in ALL CAPS, and in real life, he talks IN ALL CAPS. He looks a little like the Seinfield soup guy too: "THAT'S IT! NO RUBBER FOR YOU!"

BTW: He's not gay! He's just saying..........and I'm guessing this guy's brother in Atlantic City is Mario......who was ALSO on To Catch A Predator.....wonder if this girl wants to "Do the Mario!"

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/lGYYMFyI_ag&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x5d1719&color2=0xcd311b"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/lGYYMFyI_ag&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x5d1719&color2=0xcd311b" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

Oh, I'm joking. That's not the real Mario. Here's the REAL Mario with a special cameo before hand by someone else some of you may know:

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/11uEKztg40s&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&color1=0x5d1719&color2=0xcd311b"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/11uEKztg40s&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&color1=0x5d1719&color2=0xcd311b" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

Beauser 07-12-2009 05:26 PM

Have you made it onto this show?

Zeeboe 07-12-2009 05:36 PM

lol. I was waiting for someone to post something like that. No, I'd never end up on that show, but if I did, my reaction would be similar to this guy's:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/3nI9zUkRMw4&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x006699&color2=0x54abd6"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/3nI9zUkRMw4&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x006699&color2=0x54abd6" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

How so? They are preventing men from having sex with minors. On the Peverted Justice website, they have the full chats the predators had with the decoys, and I'm very sure that those men would have gladly had sex with kids if they could. Heck, why else would they bring rubbers?

Reavant 07-12-2009 07:55 PM

Im honestly suprised a guy hasnt tried to kill him yet

Sixx 07-12-2009 08:52 PM

It would be badass if some perv would hold Hansen hostage using a dildo or something.

LOL. It's hard to understand but it sounds like when Chris Hansen first walks out and says "Looks like you brought enough stuff to move in" the guy just says "Hell yes." That was amazing.

Zeeboe 07-13-2009 12:19 AM

Sixx - Yeah, the pizza and the crying man are good ones. I almost wanted to feel sorry for the crybaby, but I actually read his entire chat log he had with the decoy, and he's a sick bastard. He would have gladly screwed her if she was a real kid, and if she allowed it. He needed to be arrested.

lol. Wow, I never noticed that before. That's yet another funny quote said by him. Man, everything he says is funny.

Few comments about this one:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/3nI9zUkRMw4&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x006699&color2=0x54abd6"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/3nI9zUkRMw4&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x006699&color2=0x54abd6" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

lol. He mouths "Oh my God" at 1:45. Then he softly whispers "Wow" at 1:50. The facial expression/strange smile on his face from that point on says it all. Poor bastard knew EXACTLY what he walked in.....he seemed almost amused/star struck by the whole thing.

Check out his My Space:

http://www.myspace.com/mikelubrano

Look at what he says in the general section, some of his favorite movies, what his friends said in his comments section, and what two of his friends said about one of his pics in his photo album. There's some very interesting stuff right there. I'm not gonna spoil it though.

Sixx 07-13-2009 09:51 AM

Sorry Zeeboe, can't refrain myself.

29 mar 2007 21:52
i second that.. and also in the back of a cop car already

5 mar 2007 21:29
You look like a sex offender in this pic!

Note that this was before what happenned on Hansen's show.

http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/inde...mageID=1234655

Zeeboe 07-13-2009 02:24 PM

lol. It's fine. Plus, if someone clicks the link I posted first, they won't be spoiled, but no big deal anyhow. But yeah, that guy posted that just four weeks before his buddy ended up in the loving arms of Chris Hansen, and the girl posted her comment two days beforehand. How cosmic is that?

I also find it interesting that two of his favorite movies are Taxi Driver and Sin City, two films that cover the subject of pedophiles. And in his interests section, he has this:

"Gambling basketball football Madden07 XM satelite radio Patriots Football "Just get a unicycle, it's the pedophiles corvette.""

 Wow. I don't think he'll be updating his profile in a long time, if ever.

On another note: I love reading people's myspace profiles on mydeathspace.com, as well as the ones who have been arrested, and looking up people who actually were on To Catch a Predator too. It makes for some interesting reading sometimes.

That's why I am always wanting to make sure all my profiles are top niotch, just in case I end up biting the big one sooner or later.

That guy has a few profiles: (One of them has his picture on it, the other has a survey he filled out, another is private, and the other has no info at all. I guess he had trouble setting up just one My Space profile.

As I read the survey he filled out on one of his profiles, and his "About me" section, it all pretty confirms it's the same guy. He has the 1989 prison movie "Lock-Up" as one his favorite movies. How interesting. At least now he gets to live the life of one of his favorite films.)

Here's another funny one: Ya know how the cops are always really rough on the pedos after they leave? Well, check out how they react to a tall, big, brawny black man......

No really, it's entrapment. All the guys arrested were released. That's why the show ended.

You can't arrest people on what they might do.

Funniest show ever, though.

NoJabbaNoBogRoll 07-17-2009 08:19 AM

Pretty sure Kalyx is wrong on several of his points there.

Kalyx triaD 07-17-2009 08:25 AM

Reavant 07-17-2009 09:43 AM

ummmm actually the guy that knew about to catch a predator and the guy that started crying are currently in prison. If you go to pervertedjustice.com it has all their case files.

NoJabbaNoBogRoll 07-17-2009 11:16 AM

I rest my case.

#1-norm-fan 07-17-2009 12:43 PM

Yeah... intent to commit a crime is a crime if it can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

Having long chats where you go into great detail about the things you want to do to a 13 year old is pretty good proof of intent...

The guys during the Texas investigation were released, but all the others in the other states did end up getting punished somehow, and I believe they all had to register as sex offenders.

And like it was posted, if you read some of their chats on the Perverted Justice website, I think it's pretty clear that they want to have sex with kids. The fact that some of them send nude pics, and literally almost all of them show up at the bust house with condoms (and sometimes even other sexual related items like porno movies, lubricant, and whip cream) confirms that they had one thing on their mind.

I think if they even wanna have cyber or phone sex with a kid, that makes them a pedophile. In Texas, and many other states, it's actually a crime to have a sexually charged chat with a minor online.

I'm glad the country is really starting to crack down all these Short Eyes. This might sound ultra-cheesy, but kids ARE the future, and our preservation, and pedophiles can ruin lives forever, and we have to protect the future of the world.

#1-norm-fan 07-17-2009 12:44 PM

And it would be entrapment if the decoys actively went looking for the guys but they wait for the guys to make the first move.

Zeeboe 07-17-2009 01:20 PM

Did you see the one with the 29-year bodybuilder I posted? The show has gotten some bad feedback before by some people who don't like the way the cops arrest the predators.

As you've seen, they always run full speed at them, screaming for them to get down, and if the pedophiles don't do as their told to quick enough, the police have actually tackled them, or tazered them......even those the child molesters are usually just so scared, that they freeze, and never posed a threat.

.....Yet when that huge brawny guy was on there, they briskly walked over to him, and were complete calm and nice to him, and one of them even put his hand on the guy's shoulder, and said in a calm, soft, and consoling tone of voice: "It's okay. Just relax, alright? We're not gonna do anything to hurt you."

......I thought that was hilarious. The cops are NEVER nice, compassionate, and gentle on those guys.....I can't blame em' for that one....I wouldn't wanna deal with an angry large man either.

I've seen other clips where guys that big fight with the cops, and they're so damn strong that not even the tazers take them down. It usually just makes them get more violent, and fight harder, and the cops always have to end up just shooting them.

DAMN iNATOR 07-17-2009 02:32 PM

Zeebz, why don't'cha have a seat right over here? (we'll blur your face for the protection of the innocent, not really so much your own, but just have a seat right over here.)

Yeah, the Asian guy looked like he was 16.

The clip with that Rick fella is another good one. He pretty much knew exactly what he was walking into just like that Mike dude from NJ. (Only I think Mike was so high, he was too happy to be too distrubed by the whole thing.) And I saw that clip where Chris Hansen gets a taste of his own meds not too long ago. That was pretty funny. I LOVE his SN. I bet M.C. Hammer was proud.

Zeeboe 07-18-2009 02:47 AM

Some more good ones from Jersey: First guy is a major sissy, second guy is another major  He claims he wasn't going to do anything, and was just there to take pictures, and doesn't know what is going on, and that some evil prankster named "Kevin" had the chat, and told the wide-eyed sweaty man to go there just to take pics. Well, here's something about Perverted Justice that I think was interesting. http://www.chatmag.com/help/17022004_pj.html

Like I said: Entrapment...

Side note: I am not pro-Pedophile. I am just pro-justice. I don't see "To Catch a Predator" as justice.

BOOSH

Reavant 07-20-2009 08:21 PM

That article only dealt with people talking on the internet, when it comes to a person showing up to a "childs" home after they know theyre underage and have intentions for sex then they can be arrested for attempted sexual assult on a minor

Kalyx triaD 07-20-2009 08:38 PM

The "child" is an 18yo actress.

I've seen a couple cases where the guy admitted in some way that he was the one who first started the conversation. So it's not so black and white where you can just say "Entrapment" and that's it.

If the decoy is the one who is actively trying start the conversations, then it is entrapment. Just like a cop posing as a prostitute has to wait for the thought of sex for money to be brought up.

I do however think that when someone comes to a house to have sex with a 13 year old, entrapment or not, when they get arrested, it's justice. I don't really see how you wouldn't think it is.

Kalyx triaD 07-20-2009 09:00 PM

By that logic me saying I'm going to kill my brother and then going to a hardware store to buy an axe from the guy I had the convo with - would be an arrestable offense.

NoJabbaNoBogRoll 07-21-2009 08:21 AM

Kalyx is dumb. We get it.

Kalyx triaD 07-21-2009 11:06 AM

You might "get it," but when does your observations matter? You dudes don't know shit about 'justice'. Your definition is lacking. You guys are talking interactionist views on crime (read: weak sauce moralist).

lol. What!?!? Not the same thing at all.

You could be going to the hardware story for plenty of other reasons than to find shit to kill someone with.

There is NO OTHER REASON for a guy to go to that specific house after having a sexually charged conversation with someone he thought was 13 that happened to tell him she lives at that house... usually hours away.

Seriously... that was one of the dumbest analogies I've ever heard.

Kalyx triaD 07-21-2009 11:36 AM

Yeah, kinda went off field with that. In any case the set-up was classic entrapment anyway you look at it. These dudes, however fucked up their fetishes, were still chatting with impostures and an 18yo actress. Who's the victim? A fucking fictional teenage girl? I love To Catch A Predator, it is a lol factory, but you can't lock up guys on that shit. For so many reasons.

#1-norm-fan 07-21-2009 11:45 AM

It's their intent to fuck a 13 year old girl though. If the decoy starts the conversation, then I will agree at least to some extent that it goes a bit too far. If the guy sees a profile of a 13 year old girl and PMs them, starts talking about sex and things they wanna do to them and then comes to the house that they expect them to be, they are officially a pedophile... whether there was a real "victim" in that very instance or not.

Should they just watch the guy and wait until he finds an actually little kid and fucks them? He obviously is out to do just that if he is PMing girls he thinks is 13 and trying to come over when their parents aren't home to do this stuff he's gone into detail about.

Wrong. They've done no harm, if anything they were played on their deviant desires. Does that make them a pedo? I suppose, they do have issues. Should pedos be arrested without them actually harming anyone? No. What you speak of isn't justice, but disgust. And I'm with you as far as that goes, but we can't honestly toss people in jail cause we're digusted.

Quote:

Unfortunately yes. We can't see the future and investigators would love to stop heinous shit before it goes down, but we simply do not have the right to point and say, "Yeah, he would have done it anyway." Even if a staged set-up reveals as much. Should something be done? Yeah, maybe surveillance or something like probation check ups. But not lock up, they've yet to prove danger to society.

He victimized no one. He needs help, not lock up.

#1-norm-fan 07-21-2009 12:23 PM

He has to actually successfully victimize someone to be a danger to society? That's like catching a suspected terrorist and finding pages and pages of plans and maps and places to blow up and blueprints and shit and letting him go cause there's "no victim."

NoJabbaNoBogRoll 07-21-2009 12:25 PM

Here's a good one for you, Kalyx.

I tell you I'm coming to your home, with the intention of gunning you down. I buy a gun from somebody I believe to be a criminal, but in reality this person is an undercover officer, and has sold me a gun that does not work. Knowing nothing about guns, perhaps I wouldn't realise until I tried to pull the trigger. I arrive at your house, and you open the door. I pull out the gun, aim it at your head, and pull the trigger. At this point, the police jump out and arrest me.

Of course, I had no chance of committing the crime, because the gun was not real. What would you want me charged with?

#1-norm-fan 07-21-2009 12:28 PM

That cop was simply playing on your deviant desire to shoot Kalyx. You've harmed no one. There's no victim. You need help, not lock up.

Well let's see: Did we set up a fake country with made up ideals and fictional agendas for said terrorist to hate enough to bomb? Aside from that being a most elaborate case of entrapment, I'm willing to bet most suspected terrorist are posing real threats to real people.

'Predator's not just catching guys in the act, they made the act. And even if you don't see this has entrapment, it's another story wanting to imprison these guys after the fact. We are way too lock-up happy and it's been kicking us in the ass after a few decades in case you haven't noticed.

See above.

NoJabbaNoBogRoll 07-21-2009 12:39 PM

One key element of the crime was false, making the crime impossible to commit. The attempted criminal was the only one not aware of this fact. I'm sure even you can see the similarities.

You're really clutching at straws here. For the sake of argument, let's say you give me the address to a vacant building, set up by the police department, and set up a dummy in the living room. I attempt to shoot the dummy through the window, believing it to be you.

Or, since you're so real... The person you have claimed to be online.

I'm gonna elaborate my reply to your previous scenario, which would appear to be a nice gambit, but flawed still - since this post of yours above doesn't add anything to your point (no offense).

You had a good set up, fake gun by an undercover cop - but the major difference is I'm a real guy you have desire to kill.

Now:

If I was a cop myself, who met you under the sole purpose of getting you to hate me enough to kill me, and the scenario went as you said - you go free. These are the sorts of details defense attorneys masturbate to, because instead of looking at a seemingly crucial element ("He went to the house!"), they examine and tear about the process of the event step by step. If one step is out of whack, then the case is lost: And the fact is I would have goaded you into wanting to kill me. You're no more a danger to society than an antagonist in some elaborate stage play.

Yes, it would appear that you have intent to kill if so pushed, but because we set you up - it's an unfortunate detail we can't arrest you for.

NoJabbaNoBogRoll 07-21-2009 12:50 PM

Nice double-team, #1-wwf-fan. ;)

I think we covered everything.

#1-norm-fan 07-21-2009 12:53 PM

Bottom line is once you go through the steps of IMing a little kid (real or not is irrelevant for the sake of what I'm saying right now... YOU think it's a kid), telling that kid the sexual things you want to do, going to a house where you believe the kid is there alone, you are officially ACTIVELY ATTEMPTING TO HAVE SEX WITH A CHILD.

The fact that some of the cases were thrown out, doesn't hide the fact that many weren't.

The predators already in jail should really consider hiring Kalyx.

But... If his logic is so flawless... Surely none of them are in jail... Wait... What?

#1-norm-fan 07-21-2009 01:10 PM

Again, I'm less inclined to argue really if someone posing as an underage kid starts the conversation. Still fucked up but you can't go out and start trying to build up the situation like that.

However if the guy is actively PMing people he thinks are 13 in that manner, saying the shit these guys say, and then comes to the house, it shows that he has the intention of finding little kids to have sex with.

1) The all caps wasn't an appeal to emotion, it was me feeling the need to capitalize something I've had to say way too many times to try to get the point across.

2) Whether it would be illegal for the guys running the show to have a 17 year old play the decoy or not isn't the issue? Now who's dodging?

Forget there is even a show. Let's just say it's an elaborate plot by a 17 year old posing as a 13 year old. No one else is involved. Since he's simply playing a "character", if the guy shows up, does your "it's just a character" argument hold up?

The kid's underage and in danger so no, although the situation would be different - the guy would still be interacting with an underage child, actual age be damned. So yeah, he gets the flat mattress.

Different situation? You WERE the one who implied that the decoy being 18 had some effect on whether it was right or not though by saying he was talking to an "18 year old actor. Why bring up how old the actor is if it's not relevant?

And wouldn't a "just evaluation" of the situation say that the guy is an obvious threat to molest a child seeing as how he is being caught attempting to do so?
