Thoughts this would be a fun thing to do.
Here's how it's gonna send up. Nominate your worst theme music. I'll set it up like a bracket. There will be spots for 32 worst themes. I'll post head to head match ups with youtube clips of the worst themes for people to vote on so they have an idea cause there's some FANTASTIC early-mid 1990 WCW themes that must be included.

Even the Mr. Ass theme is terrible, but it gets away with it because it's so hilarious. Billy Gunn may be go down in history as having the worst themes ever.

I think we should define "bad", here. I've been viewing it in terms of lack of relevance to the character and...well, just a shitty song after that. I still think there can be shitty songs that totally work as themes, though.

I'm still waiting on an apology from Volare about the Doink theme.

If you have the time, I think you should go back and watch some Doink matches with Bobby Heenan on commentary. Listen to the way The Brain put him over. The character was obviously an accomplished wrestler, and it showed in his performances. There was just something completely 'off' about him that made him dress as a clown. They would speculate at to whether it was head games or if he was just a complete fucking lunatic. They would make comments about him looking "very familiar", and speculate as to him possibly being an older wrestler that people had forgotten about (which he actually really was). I really wish they would have stuck through with Doink being a heel to see if they would have ever had him reveal his identity, but the only problem was HE WAS TOO FUCKING OVER. He was getting crazy cheers for doing dastardly shit. What a compelling character. They need depth like that in today's WWE.

...I would say that the theme is pretty bland, but not even close to the worst. Once they added the "IT'S NOT MY FAULT!", I thought it was a totally passable theme.

That TL Hopper theme definitely fit the character, but I think I'd still be inclined to vote for it in this tournament. I can't tell if the main focus of the theme is the foreboding music or the constant toilet flushing. If I were a plumber, I would have been writing many angry letters to Vince McMahon.

I'm guessing someone will be posting Duke "The Dumpster" Droese soon, as he and TL Hopper seem almost interchangable, so I'll just say now that I actually liked his theme.

The hilarious thing to me with guys like Hopper and Droese is the WWE's incessant reminders that they were completely fucking into their jobs. I feel like if I were a plumber or a garbage man and I got a WWE contract, my focus would shift to wrestling. Why did they have so much fucking pride?

I think i saw it nominated earlier, however "man called sting" deserves to be easily accessible to everyone on here.

Sonny Siaki's theme was horrendous in TNA. I'll have the brackets set up by Sunday and we should be good to go.

I've always liked Chaz's theme because it reminds me of Loser by Beck.

I don't know why but I thought this was an old thread that was bumped and I never bothered to read it until just now. Anywho, even though I'm late, I'd like to throw a couple of themes out there...
