HBK might be a bit of a stretch.... but it would be a total surprise, so it could happen..... I'm gonna go with Swagger because he is the most deserving of a rub from Jericho.... but it could be pretty much anyone

I would say Benjamin could work. They're not doing alot with him right now. He could use the stardom and be like a "work in progress" with Jericho as the mentor. Also, CM could work because they both believe in living the life "they know". Also, i know im just street dreaming, but i would love to see Jericho in the Hart Dynasty but though he and the Hart family are cool, dont think they're THAT cool.

At this point it almost has to be someone currently employed by the company, if it was someone re-signing surely it would be known by now, right?

Makes the most sense that it will be Kane, allowing Khali to interfere and set them up for a gimmick match at Summerslam, and allowing Jericho to get back to singles action.

Say Jericho's mystery partner is a face. It kind of has to be, regardless, because heel vs. heel matches are rarely well received. And this face gets pinned by Rhodes or Dibiase, giving them the belts and starting a feud between Jericho and his Secret Choice. He blames the choice for deceiving him; and he blames this deception for causing Jericho to lose his titles.

That, or Zack Ryder.

The more I think about it, the more I agree with this. Remember when Jericho hinted he was going to be the RAW General Manager? Yeah.

Kane does make sense, but I think they would have just announced it if it were going to be to get the former WWE Champion on the show. I still maintain that Dolph Ziggler makes the most sense storyline-wise. Mysterio can then retain the IC Title against Ziggler, and continue to bring prestige to the belt (which has been booked magnificently recently). For some reason, people around here are down on that idea, though, despite Ziggler and Jericho often working together on-screen.

Jack Swagger would be another good choice. Swagger and Jericho just have personalities that could kind of match up. This could also allow someone else to get the US Title. This would also lead to MVP probably teaming with someone to face Jericho and Swagger at Summerslam. As unlikely as it is, Chris Jericho & Jack Swagger vs. Shawn Michaels & MVP for the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship would be a fucking awesome match.

Well I was thinking they were maybe trying to go for a swerve as I found it somewhat strange that he brought up how he was a tag team champion for the better part of a year.

Before I thought the IC match was booked I thought it would be Ziggler but I think he's gonna get a serious and win his match tonight.

Don't get me wrong Zack Ryder is terrific but I think they wanna keep him as a singles superstar for at least a little while longer.
