That was well done, kudos especially to Grisham and JR for selling it on commentary.

That was awesome. Punk is a great heel. Those elbows were sick; different from the usual "shove your face in my junk and punch you in the forehead over and over again" stuff we're used to getting from the likes of JBL and heel Triple H. I think instead of throwing Jeff over the announce table he should have hit him with the GTS, sending Jeff over the table that way.

No complaints though. Smackdown > RAW these days, mainly due to the three guys seen in that clip.

CM Punk must be genius as he keeps fooling all them wrestlers into thinking he is a cool cat after all and then WHAM. Hardy should walk into that like 512545 times more and I will be happy.

The way the crowd reacted on his WWECW debut and accepted him as a part of the ECW roster, I knew he was gonna be awesome.

He didn't juice. If he did then I'm sure that JR would have said something about him being busted wide open. I say it was the hard way.

That was indeed a beautiful moment. I now officially consider myself a mark for CM Punk. Before I just liked and supported the guy, but now I really want to see him win every match he is in (as was discussed in that thread about who we can get behind).

I'm just trying to imagine CM Punk delivering his "drug free; alcohol free; better than you" line from the stage on the fallen Hardy, but perhaps that should come a bit later in the story.

anyway, check the pictures on wwe.com and give me some evidence that he bladed. they show a clear shot of his face and i don't see any blood....

i thought he bladed too, but it just wouldn't make sense at all with the current product, to waste and not even mention. and after seeing him get hit in the back of the head with the mic, it makes it look like doing it hardway not that possible.

the only way he would have gotten broke open is POSSIBLY with the elbows.

So Jeff Hardy apparently won't be with the WWE past Summerslam. I am eager to see how the WWE writes out Hardy. CM Punk doesn't seem like the kind of person to put someone out, but it would make him look like a fucking demon. Especially in Jeff Hardy's match. CM Punk would officially be the "King of the Ladder Match" if he did this, I believe. Two Money in the Bank wins, and a TLC victory over Jeff Hardy, where he pretty much kills Hardy.

Yeah that'd be pretty awesome if Punk just kills Jeff lol. He's pretty much on the way there already given the past two beatdowns.

I've actually had the thought, though: What if the WWE claims that Jeff Hardy fails another wellness test? Maybe CM Punk doesn't destory Jeff physically, but forces him back into his vices psychologically? Or maybe he crams pain-killers down Jeff's throat during the match, and then Jeff has to take another kayfabe piss test...

I would love it if at Summerslam WWE announces that Jeff Hardy has been suspended via drug use and CM Punk comes out and trashes Hardy and the fans for liking him... who comes out to challenge? His brother Matt... and TLC commences with Matt winning the title.

I was just thinking: If CM Punk completely squashed Jeff Hardy at Summerslam, I would probably mark the flying fuck out. Have Punk cut a promo beforehand about how he just wants to prove once that a guy like Jeff Hardy cannot take him down. He succeeds in doing that.

On SmackDown!, he cuts a promo that links Jeff Hardy to fans, talking about how he doesn't consider himself born a superior human being, but he looks out into the audience and sees people paying to see him, and people who have achieved less than him. He goes on to bust out the "drug free; alcohol free; better than you" line.

If Hardy leaving is a definite, Punk's pretty much guaranteed to be the one to send him on his way. Could be fucking huge for Punk. Should just listen to any of Noid's ideas (no stable with Doug Basham involved though :P), although, I have faith in Michael Hayes.

It's really not complicated with Punk and Hardy. You let Punk do what Punk does, and you just have him skullfuck Hardy out of the WWE and then you have the hottest heel in the company. No need to fantasy book the shit out of it. It books itself.

I don't know why, but I'm getting the feeling that it might not be Punk who drives Jeff out of the WWE. For some reason, I could see some other guy attacking Hardy at one point, and being the man to do. :(

Or what if Jeff Hardy doesn't make it to Summerslam? We are all assuming he will, but Theodore Long did say something about "if" Jeff Hardy makes it, didn't he? What if Hardy is too hurt to compete, and CM Punk thinks that makes him the World Heavyweight Champion by default, but John Morrison comes out in his hometown to have the Ladder Match over the vacant title?
