Tiger Woods in an accident and in serious condition
Quote:
Just heard FHP said that Alcohol wasnt a factor and he's apparently got a torn up face. Hmm. |
ESPN put the article up early about the accident and then pulled the article and changed it to mention no alcohol as a factor. It was such a quick change that most people are believing he might have been drunk after all (ESPN is one of the big advertisers for golf tournaments where Tiger Woods plays).
|
Define torn up face.
Also, charges are apparently pending |
Will he receive a one stroke penalty?
|
Quote:
I seriously doubt that alcohol wasn't a factor. I mean, just figure it was Thanksgiving, he could have only been buzzed on wine, but very few sober people are going to ram their Escalade over a fire hydrant and into a tree doing less than 33 mph right outside their own house. My guess is he tore his face up because the airbags didn't deploy and his head smacked either the steering wheel or the windshield upon hitting the tree. |
lol Splaya neg repping me. The only thing more disgusting than Woods's face right now is the city of Detroit.
|
I could neg rep you for starting the same thread in General 15 minutes after I put this here but I wont.
|
it's called casual
|
General/Casual..the same thing.
Also, TMZ supposedly is reporting that his wife beat him up because he was cheating on her, so he hurriedly tried to get away which caused the accident and she was chasing him with the golf club that she supposedly rescued him out of the SUV with. This is gonna be fun. He's gonna get ass raped in court if they have to get divorced. First billion dollar athlete? Ha..not any more. |
Seriously, what is the deal with the lack of information coming out of this case?
The man crashes a Cadillac Escalade in his driveway at 2 a.m., and it is so bad that he has facial lacerations and was drifting in and out of consciousness. Then his wife happens to be right there to "save" him. Yet the police have basically nothing to say? There is clearly something going on here, and it is ridicules that the police are basically protecting him by playing it down to this point as if it was a routine car accident. |
Tiger nor his wife have even talked to the police yet. They keep turning them away.
Sounds like Tiger and his wife got into a fight, his wife scratched his face, and he's putting the cops off til he can heal a bit so the cops can't prove she scratched him. |
that makes more sense, I figured he was just the worst driver of all time
|
Wife caught him with another woman, chased him and/or her out of the house with one of his clubs, he's in full panic mode and crashes, she bust a window to get to him, only to find that he's banged up pretty god from said crash.
Atleast, that what I heard from a few friends today... |
Heard something about the police getting a search warrant cuz they were pissed about Tiger keeping blowing them off.
|
Im tired of hearing about this now.
|
I'm kinda pissed that sports fans expect an explanation from him about it.
It was a traffic accident. He doesn't need to say anything to the sports world because this didn't have anything to do with sports. There are two people to whom he should apologize: his wife (/family I suppose), and his neighbor. That's it. |
|
Update: Tiger will have charges pressed against him, and his wife will not get charges pressed against him.
AND NOW A 2ND WOMAN SAID SHE HAD A 31 MONTH AFFAIR WITH TIGER WOODS... |
A second woman? When the "first" woman so adamantly denied the rumors that she was preparing lawsuits against the news outlets?
|
Correct
|
He's getting a "careless driving" citation..
$164 fine.. NOT A BIG DEAL |
Tiger... more like Cheetah
am i right |
He can fuck off with the crying about the privacy thing. If you want privacy give all the money back you've made from being endorsed by 1,000 different things and having your face/name plastered everywhere in the public.
Or get a normal job and don't play golf for a living |
yea, that's pretty much my thoughts. I was on the other side of the fence at first, but it's true. Once you done all he has done with endorsements and everything, you're pretty much giving up your right to privacy.
|
all Tiger has to do now is allign himself to Suge Knight, change his image and he'll grab a whole new crowd that will praise the "player card" he has
|
Tiger doesn't have to say anything. I don't blame him for not.
My initial complaint in this thread was that the police and news media were repeating obvious bullshit. |
Also, Stima is blurring the line between public figures and private lives. Tiger is a public figure who doesn't have the assumption of privacy when he is in public, but he was undoubtedly not in public and there is absolutely no reason he should have to face the public about an affair if he doesn't want to.

LOL at Tiger being embarassed about his small calves.
50 dollars says hes really gay and everything is a huge coverup. |
Quote:
It's easy for a nobody to say that a celebrity doesn't deserve privacy when he/she can just go to work, go to McDonalds, hit up a movie, and go home without anybody giving a damn about them. Tiger Woods is good at what he does. If he is being shown on television for doing what he does then hey, im sure he didn't ask for that. I'm pretty sure he, and any other famous person for that matter, would just take the money and say fuck the fame. At the end of the day, he is a god damn human being and lol its not like he's a politician who IS using your money and doing dumb shit. He plays a sport, he wins at it, goes home and kisses his wife and child (and according to reports, someone else lol) and does what he does. Why the fuck do i, or anyone else, need to know about any of that? Oh, thats right, because he whoops everyone's ass on the green. Like Requiem, if he were to force himself all on TV, make a fool out of himself/herself, etc then hey, that would be his fault. LOL i love how people think like this when there probably aren't more than 30 people who know him/her. |
I think its more of a mix that the story involves TMZ trying to get more information and Tiger not revealing what exactly happened to the police made this a bigger issue than it should have been.
TMZ is notorious for trying to get a story any way possible then flood the news with it for a while and if the police are trying to get information but keep being rejected it ends up people wanting to know more. Popular athletes cheating on their wife or family isn't something new but with Tiger it was how strange the story sounded that makes people wanting to know more than is needed. |
I'm not saying I want to know what he's doing, or even care that he crashed his car at the end of his driveway. At the same time though I don't feel bad for him, he knew exactly what he was getting into. He didn't have to become a professional golfer, he needs to expect people to be going crazy over this if he expect to makes millions off endorsements. If he is cashing in on the interest (if people weren't interested he wouldn't get the endorsements) he needs to expect people to be interested when crazy shit like this does down too.
He traded in some of his privacy for all the fame & money, sorry but that's how it goes. We've all made compromises in life and I don't think any of us make millions playing a sport that most people do to get away from work. but if Tiger really wants to avoid this whole situation why doesn't he try not driving into a fire hydrant at the end of his driveway at 2:30am? |
Dude, you mean to tell me that because you are famous because you are good at what you do and people pay YOU to be on their cereal box and that entitles you to NO privacy? Duh, if he doesn't want stuff like this to happen then don't do it but WAY easier said than done to be "perfect".
And thats not the way it goes. Thats the way it goes for people who are concerned about someone else's life other than their own and have nothing better to do than see what is going to become of "Tiger and what's her name's marriage". Give me a break :nono: Hell, if i was old enough to know about when Bill Clinton got his dick sucked, i wouldn't have given a 100th of a shit than these other wasteless morons who worry about other people and their business. I honestly hope that TMZ gets hit with some type of huge lawsuit by all of the celebrities and goes bankrupt and loses all of their 401k money. If he gets whatever is coming to him, fine. If not, then whatever. Who cares and whatever the fuck happens, let THEM deal with on THEIR time and THEIR privacy. Losing your privacy by becoming famous is the most retarded shit i've ever heard. Just forget that you put your pants on the same way i do because you are on TV more than i am. |
Where did I say he should get NO privacy? It's not like we have a 24 hour live stream of his living room or something. Still though, if you are a public figure and you have a very suspicious car crash the public is gonna want to know the details. Yeah its annoying and doesn't make sense and scum companies like TMZ make bank of it but oh well - that's what you signed up for when you decided to be a highly marketable professional golfer. He could discontinued playing after Stanford and got a "normal" job if he wanted, but he chose his career path and now he has to live with it. Tough shit
|
Public figures don't have the same expectation to privacy that commoners have, but that isn't what this is at all.
He doesn't owe us anything. There is no reason why he would have to tell us the details of his affairs and his marriage problems. |

the blonde in this is hotttt |
the funniest part was that it had tracking at the beginning. vintage vhs
|
What is going on with him?
There's all this talk about his sex life and now today somebody has apparently been taken from his home on a stretcher or the call came from his house or something. |
http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2009/...41_233x404.jpg
Actress: Holly Sampson, seen here in My First Sex Teacher volume 18, is reported to be another alleged mistress ---- I mean like WTF? |
And this 'sexy' British TV presenter. Is the word 'sexy' in quotations marks because she's not sexy?
|
I don't think the world is ready for a Tiger Woods sex tape.
|
So now some woman was taken from his home on life support? jesus this is a mess
|
Here’s a quick break down of Cheetah’s cluckers:
1.) Rachel Uchitel. The club hostess was the first of the women to be linked to Woods after the National Enquirer reported that she traveled to Australia to be with Woods during a golf tournament there. So far, she has denied the affair. 2.) Jamie Grubbs. The 24-year-old reality show contestant and cocktail waitress claims she carried on a 31-month-long affair with Woods until his crash last month. She offered a Woods voicemail to prove it. 3.) Kalika Moquin. The 27-year-old club manager from Las Vegas is reported to have had a brief sexual relationship with Woods. She would neither confirm nor deny the report. 4.) Cori Rist. The 31-year-old swimsuit model reportedly met Woods at a Manhattan club last year before they began a sexual relationship that led to Woods flying her out to various secret locations for hook-ups, and her introducing the golfer to her 7-year-old son. 5.) Jamie Jungers. The 26-year-old, who sold her story to a British newspaper, is a former employee of Trashy Girls Lingerie. She said she met Woods in Las Vegas. 6.) Mindy Lawton. The 33-year-old pancake house waitress from Orlando claims she was dumped by Woods in 2007. According to the Post, it was her affair with Woods that was caught on camera by the National Enquirer, when he was snapped dropping her off at her trailer park. The threatening news later led to a Woods Men’s Fitness cover in exchange for the magazine’s silence about the alleged affair, the New York Post reports. 7.) Holly Sampson. The 36-year-old from Los Angeles is a former porn star, who has starred in such films as “OMG, Stop Tickling Me” and “Flying Solo 2.” According to the Sun, she has neither confirmed nor denied her affair with Woods. 8.) Unidentified Alleged Mistress No. 8. A former cocktail waitress from Orlando, Fla. does want to reveal her identity yet, according to her attorney Michael O’Quinn. But this she has said: at the time the affair allegedly began, she was 20 years old and met Woods at the Roxy in Orlando, where she was a VIP server. 9.) Unidentified Alleged Mistress No. 9 is reported to be a “sexy” British TV presenter who was single at the time, but is now married. 10.) Unidentified Alleged Mistress No. 10. is reported in a UK paper to be a “sex-addicted cougar.” |
I'm confused is Tiger a golfer or a rock star?
|
ummm edit nevermind, apparently you can't post rumours on the internet
|
The sexy british presenter I'm talking about, not the one on life support.
|
Lion Cheetah Tiger is the best thing to come out of all this, thats some top notch work.
|
|
So pretty much Tiger Woods is a badass.
|
So, now a pornographic magazine is claiming it has pictures of Tiger Woods.
Okay, if Tiger honestly posed for a porno mag and thought it wasn't going to get out eventually...wow. If that's true, this is officially one of the single-greatest destructions of an icon ever. -edit- Apparently it's Playgirl :o Bye bye ALL of Tigers' sponsors if these get out on top of everything else |
This escalated very quickly
|
lol "Destruction of an icon" I don't get that at all. He's permiscuous, hardly a reason to hate the man.
|
Oh don't get me wrong, I agree. Yeah it's a shitty thing to do and all...but it doesn't make me hate him. I don't give a shit about his personal life.
Problem is though, most other people feel differently, and I get the sense that he's going to be taking a MAJOR beating in the court of public opinion, including even more sponsors pulling away from him. To think...none of this may have ever surfaced if not for the car accident. |
I don't think it's unreasonable for people to have a lesser opinion of a man who arrogantly and excessively cheats on the wife who is the mother to his two young children, to be honest.
|
^ yup
...Today Tiger announced he is stepping down from golfing for an indefinate period of time. |
All this, just to cum.
So stupid of him. |
I wonder how long his "indefinite leave" from golf will be..
My guess is he's at the Masters in April. |
Quote:
Again it's not right, but he's human. I don't judge him based on his fidelity, I judge him based on how he swings a golf club. Pro athletes cheat on their spouses like it's going out of style, it is what it is. I think we should worry more about other, more important things than something that only effects a man and his family. |
That doesn't really change anything. I'm not necessarily surprised that he would have given into temptation like that (although I don't believe a good portion of the "news" these call girls are saying about him).
But the fact that he has two young kids makes it a pretty sad, whether he is a great golfer or a crack dealer. I think it will be interesting to finally hear what Elin's side of the story is. Given all that has come out, if even half of it is true, I would be shocked to find out that she had no idea. However, if she truly was left in the dark, then it makes Tiger look like a terrible person even more. |
The fact that golf will struggle without him so much highlights what a shitty 'sport' golf really is.
Tbh i find this whole thing really odd, i'm wondering if the car accident was a suicidal attempt after he realised his mistakes. |
There is plenty of market for golf in the world, though. Tiger just brought in a whole new mainstream fan, which can be attributed to him probably being the best-ever while also being a black man with an impeccably positive image until a few weeks ago.
|
Quote:
"The fact that he has 2 kids" wtf man. God I hate when people get all high and mighty about this shit. It's not like he abused the kids. He just thinks with his dick and was disloyal. It happens. Believe me those kids will be fine given the billions of dollars their dad is worth. |
If Tiger embraced his new image, and was just like "yee I fucked up, but I'm still gonna play me some golf" he'd still keep he 18-35 demographic and they'd probably watch him more because of all the controversy and the fact that we are this "in your face" generation, who don't need our sports stars to be good guys, because we aren't a bunch of fairies.
|
I like my sports stars to be good guys, because I support people not being giant douches
|
then again I am a Denver Nuggets fan

This is amazing. Literally every single day something new comes out.
Now his Doctor is allegedly investigation for HGH. I don't care about all his money I would not want be him right now. Link http://www.nytimes.com/2009/12/15/sports/15doctor.html |

Think about this.... hes been sending money to these bitches on a monthly basis to pay for shit they need/keep them quiet. That is money that is not going to his kids and family. Once you bring kids into the world, its your responsibility to raise them right and not fuck them up. Theres just some things you cant do when theres children involved. And to say "it happens" is fucking retarded considering it happened and happened and happened.... whats the count now like 10-15 women who he had relationships with? common man thats WAY more than just some little mistake. |
Quote:
|
And i'd be a tastey turkey/mayo sammich if anything.
|
You're really just repeating cliched nonsense. While it's obvious that infidelity and pro athletes is relatively common, the extent of it in the Woods case, as well as the circumstances, make this quite extraordinary.
I liken it to John Edwards. Infidelity is frequent in politics, too, but when you routinely cheat on your cancer-ridden wife, that's a whole new ballgame. |
Gotta agree with reavant and BCWWF.
|
Quote:
|
That is just stupid because:
A. You have no basis in which to guarantee that B. It's most likely not true |
I love how people feel they know someone enough to judge them from behind their computers. How the fuck can you guarantee such a thing like that?
|
I still think it's crazy that all of these women are coming out saying this stuff without their validity being questioned. Some of it is so over the top, and the women have so much to gain by creating or embellishing stories.

Now I dont really care about tiger. If hes a peice of shit hes a piece of shit whatever Im not suprised, but to say hes like anyone else and this is just a little mistake on his part that happens all the time with people is fucking retarded.
Its not like he was only with one other woman or he would have an occasional one nighter while over seas or away from home. He had multiple relationships with these other women giving them money and flying them out places to be with them... all the while that money and time is being taken away from his family. |
Exactly. So far it looks like Tiger is a pretty terrible person.
Again, if LeBron James came out that he smoked weed, you could get away with the "It's not a big deal, I just care about his basketball." But if LeBron James came out that he smokes weed with his kids and then drives them around, it's not just a little harmless thing anymore. There's a line, and Tiger passed the line of being a pretty shitty person to me, so I will definitely look at him differently. |
Tiger's gonna be chasing Wilt Chamberlain's record of 20,000 women :shifty:
