WooooOOoooo

Woo?

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
This is a draw
Taker

And there it is. The perverbial roadblock. As much as I think Taker deserves to be HOF bound, there is no denying that Flair is going to be the man to keep him out. Wooooooooooooooooooooooooo! And then the strut into a Flair faceplant.

fucking photobucket
Love Taker, but I think there's only one person I'd put above Flair, and it isn't Undertaker.
Yea I hate photobucket too Supreme. :(
pencil neck geek
Is that Taker at a Bat Mitzvah?
Taker wins for that sweet suit
also I hate Ric Flair |
He looks so bored out of his mind.
Lol I was looking for a poster of Hell in a Cell for the PPV thread I made earlier and that was one of the pics that popped up in Google Image Search.
Taker by a mile Flair is as highly overrated with the likes of Hogan or Cena.
Undertaker easily. Taker has adapted to so many different wrestling styles, it's crazy.
Check out the eyes on the dude behind Taker.

Taker dwarfs everyone in that picture. And what a suit :y:
Speaking of stylin' and profilin' |
Flair wrestled 10+ years past his prime.... for that reason, Undertaker gets my vote
yeah taker is still in his prime

Flair wins by a mile
Taker's good but Flair's promos and his matches with Steamboat helped me pick Ric over Taker |

Are you even serious xcalibur

taker

Tough choice but went with Flair since he basically helped carry the NWA promotions back in the territory days and was a huge influence in wrestling. He might have wrestled a bit long past his prime but at the same time it wasn't like he always got a title reign or a title match.
Undertaker is basically one of the best of all time in the WWE but compared to Flair's ability to be a star in multiple promotions (legacy or merit), it was a bit hard picking him over Flair. Should end up as a close vote either way. |
Supreme, you fucking dickhead.
This poll wasn't as tricky as I thought it'd be, but Undertaker easily.
Flair probably would have gotten my vote if he hadn't made a joke of himself.
Flair didn't make a joke of himself!

I've wondered how Ric Flair would be remembered had he not gone to WWE after WCW folded. WWE really did alot to promote him as one of the greatest of all time, etc. |
Taker really came back and took this by the throat so to speak
wow, incredble that Taker is actually winning this
Looking at the two wrestlers it is a bit surprising, but this voting is consistent with the normal trends for TPWW. WWF guys almost always have the advantage over WCW guys, and current wrestlers are normally preferred over retired wrestlers.

come on now people flair is the greatest wrestler of the 70s and 80s taker is a great wrestler in the 00s but was a shit wrestler with a great charecter in the 90s and late 80s ugh
"Semi-retired" whatever. Don't be a jerk about it.

Huge fan of Undertaker's work, but Flair was just awesome, especially his work from the 1980's..... mic work, great matches, even the hour-long ones were some of the best matches ever. The ones against Steamboat, and Barry Windham were some of my all time favs.
Flair deserves to win this one. |
I think I'm going to vote Flair on this one. Taker has probably entertained me more, but I think he needs a situation tailored to his strengths so he can excel. Flair can run with pretty much anything and make it work.
could have tested that theory by becoming Spartacus in WCW
I've enjoyed Taker's work more. Plus when I started watching wrestling (2004 ish) Flair was terrible.
Has TPWW been fair to Flair?

I started watching wrestling around the time of Wrestlemania VIII and Macho Man vs Ric Flair is still one of my favourite matches. The guy's amazing
When you think what Flair has done for wrestling it would be a joke for Taker to win. |
Ric Flair was one of the greatest of his time. He's also one of the most overhyped of our time. Not to say he doesn't deserve it but if WWE told their fans that Randy Savage was the greatest of all time about 87567478664567456 times a row on a weekly basis, guess what most of us would probably think?
Randy Savage is still better than Taker
Well I agree that Savage was better than Taker, but that's another argument. I think Savage is better than Flair. Now we're getting off topic. God fucking damnit.
At least we've come up with a good round to debate if Flair does win!
It's actually an extremely close contest if you look at the votes.
Taker all the way. I have said it from the beginning, there is no one who is better than him. He is on a whole other level.
I went with Flair
I went with Taker. He was the sole reason I really started watching wrestling back in the early 90s.
The Undertaker.
44-43
OH MY! |
So Taker is in the HOF in a final that was too close to call. Love it! Yet I have to wait 50 rounds for Flair again now.
lol. How is The Undertaker a better wrestler than Ric Flair? What the hell, people?

Necropost.
I was going to vote for Flair. If you didn't, just, wow. I don't even know where to begin about how wrong you are, and no, it isn't a matter of opinion. Neg rep me, I'm already negged! |
How is this not a matter of opinion? They are performers.
You sir, are a stain on the good name of Better Wrestler #114. |
So because 311 didn't vote for Flair, he lost. Pretty sure that makes 311 100% responsible. Way to go.
I love the undertaker lol
(making my case for 2010 JamesSteele Poster of the year) |
