Breaking News: Jericho and Helms arrested

FROM THE FRONT FUCKING PAGE

just for you savior

Source: PWInsider.com

According to a source, WWE stars Chris Jericho and Gregory Helms were arrested Wednesday morning in Kenton County, KY around 5 a.m. They were arrested by the Erlanger (KY) Police Department. Both men were charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place.

According to the source, they were both bonded out in about an hour. Kenton County is close to Cincinnati, OH. That is where WWE SmackDown! was taped last night

Innovator 01-27-2010 10:49 PM

But Jericho is bad and Hurricane is good?

WHY WERE THEY TOGETHER?!

Anybody Thrilla 01-27-2010 10:50 PM

I did and I freaked.

This better not lead to some sort of burial for Jericho.

i dont blame jericho for drinking after the way he has been handled in wwe

CSL 01-27-2010 11:19 PM

Outstanding, we should be getting stories like this every week

thedamndest 01-27-2010 11:31 PM

Thankfully the WWE had the foresight to start jobbing Jericho before this arrest happened.

Supreme Olajuwon 01-27-2010 11:31 PM

Public Intox is like nothing. This doesn't even matter.

Juan 01-27-2010 11:31 PM

I would love to be around Jericho when he's drunk

thedamndest 01-27-2010 11:38 PM

I'll bet he's a chest poker.

Robodiv 01-27-2010 11:45 PM

Maybe hes trying to get sacked cos the fozzy tours start real soon ;)

The band I'm in got offered the UK Tour but we had to turn it down. FUCKING RAGING. That would have been some laugh.

The Franchise 01-28-2010 12:38 AM

Jericho is a stud.

KIRA 01-28-2010 12:49 AM

I don't think they can treat Jericho any worse than they are now so hes safe

Helms however might end up on ECW.....wait

owenbrown 01-28-2010 01:19 AM

I would be drinking too if I realized Cena is gonna win the belt yet again

The MAC 01-28-2010 01:27 AM

way to steal sandmans gimmick :shifty:

VSG 01-28-2010 01:49 AM

Lol they are already out, and wont ever go in again. WWE has had such cases come up before- Sad, but a fact of pro wrestling

Yeah, the world heavyweight championship reign, and lengthy tag title reign was such bullshit.

el bobbo 01-28-2010 03:04 AM

God damn. I wonder what they were talking about? Comic books and metal?

I would like some more detail into the story; Where were they when they got arrested? Were they just outside of a bar?

Context is always nice.

ministrychick77 01-28-2010 03:29 AM

well they're Twittering still...

and i think they'd be funny drunks. nothing'll happen to them.

I'd like for more information too. C'mon Clark, where's the big picture? Psssh I'd never hang out with them...psssh...comic books...metal...probably beer...the code breaker? Nah, pass.

Yeah no shit. Not to mention the fact that he's been prominently featured on Raw AND Smackdown for the better part of a year.

DAMN iNATOR 01-28-2010 05:22 AM

Well, hey he is the best in the world at what he does...which is apparently to not have enough foresight or brains to think "Hmm, maybe I shouldn't be drinking in public...maybe I should go back to my hotel room and drink there." :shifty:

Sixx 01-28-2010 05:26 AM

I can't wait for John Cena getting arrested for public intoxication and then the plague of drunk 10 year olds.

DAMN iNATOR 01-28-2010 05:32 AM

Nah, Cena's more the type to get busted in public for 'roid abuse...only to be kept with WWE while they make a huge storyline out of it and ship Cena over to SD! after a several-month hiatus to become the latest member of Punk, Gallows, and Serena's straight-edge society (SES).

Joesgonnakillyou 01-28-2010 08:16 AM

Jericho has gone insane, the incident with the female fan and the whole 'hadji' thing, now this.

Let's see how he gets on in the rumble. I bet he'll have a short run as punishment. Helms will probably be released.

Well, I guess we now know who NOT to pick for the Royal Rumble.

Xero 01-28-2010 08:35 AM

Anybody but Cena.

Ermaximus 01-28-2010 08:47 AM

So Xero, are the tipsters going up today I'm guessing? Not sure how it works and such.

Edit: I'm NOT picking Cena to win the Rumble.

Xero 01-28-2010 08:48 AM

Usually they'll go up after SmackDown!, but since this is the sign up it really should have gone up after the tapings...

Edit: Just checked the Tipsters thread. 3xNaitch said he'd get it up today, so we'll see.

The Franchise 01-28-2010 09:05 AM

Jericho gets tanked and punches women like a true champion.

Triple Naitch 01-28-2010 09:46 AM

I'm shocked and depressed.

Anywho, I'll post Tipsters tonight when I get home.

Rammsteinmad 01-28-2010 10:02 AM

Is it illegal to be drunk in public in the States?

Also, they should totally use this to have CM Punk and Chris Jericho team up.

So they can job to DX. :foc:

Sycophant 01-28-2010 11:33 AM

I wouldn't worry about Helms getting fired and especially not worry about Jericho. I mean...Jeff Hardy got caught with a bunch if blow, steroids, and god knows what else and WWE still wanted him back. Plus, how instantly credible could TNA become after signing Jericho? it would actually give me a reason to care about TNA.

Fox 01-28-2010 11:53 AM

Rumors has it that Jericho and Helms were trying to outdrink The Great Khali over a bet on the bar tab.

Xero 01-28-2010 11:55 AM

Is Khali the new Andre?

(Without the talent, I mean.)

Fox 01-28-2010 11:57 AM

Khali also called the police on Jericho and Helms when they refused to pay the bar tab and "chopped" them out of the bar onto the street. He paid the tab and called the cops and then laughed his ass off when they got arrested. He also posted their bail.

Mr. Nerfect 01-28-2010 12:00 PM

LOL at the mugshots. Chris Jericho really couldn't give a damn, and Helms is realising that his job may not be the most secure in the world.

Ol Dirty Dastard 01-28-2010 12:01 PM

LOL just became a fan of Khali

He's the best in the world at what he does, and that probably includes a few beers.

Seriously though, with all the stories about Andre and Flair and the shit (literally) Orton used to get up to, this is nothing.

I'm sure there's a Jericholic joke in here somewhere.

The Franchise 01-28-2010 12:42 PM

or Austin hitting Debra with a stunner behind closed doors.

Rammsteinmad 01-28-2010 12:50 PM

They'll probably punish Jericho for this on the same show that Austin returns, drinks beer and stuns someone.

The Franchise 01-28-2010 12:54 PM

Or during the Rumble. Cena will adjust Jericho's attitude right over the top rope.

Anybody Thrilla 01-28-2010 01:27 PM

If Khali wouldn't have called the cops, none of this would have happened. If anybody gets punished (and I doubt anybody will), it should be Khali.

Loose Cannon 01-28-2010 04:22 PM

Helms looks badass there. are they using him at all right now?

Ermaximus 01-28-2010 05:01 PM

So apparently Matt Hardy had a hand in this as well, but he ran away like a bitch.

By Ryan Clark on Thursday, January 28th, 2010 at 4:22 PM EST

– As noted earlier, Matt Hardy was among a group of people involved in yesterday’s early morning incident that led to the arrests of Chris Jericho and Gregory Helms. Witnesses told cops Hardy was in a taxi with Jericho, Helms and several others Wednesday morning when Helms allegedly struck three people — including one female. Witnesses say Hardy took off on foot — just like Helms allegedly did — when the cab driver pulled over at a Kentucky gas station and called 911. Helms came back to the scene and was arrested — but Hardy was gone for good. However, police are not pursuing any sort of action against Hardy. As first reported, the female passenger decided not to file charges against Helms over the alleged attack. Both Helms and Jericho were arrested for “alcohol intoxication in a public place.”

Orton pooped in Joy Giovanni's bag (at least I think it was her). Apparently when she asked for her release from the company she said: "I'm sick of this shit!" and walked.

Shadow 01-28-2010 05:38 PM

Oh this is hilarious.

Mr. Nerfect 01-28-2010 08:21 PM

Apparently the feeling backstage is that it was sort of expected of Helms, and that Jericho would have been better off running with Hardy. :-\

Chris Jericho, Gregory Helms, Matt Hardy and The Great Khali should get their own sitcom. Have Santino Marella pop in there occasionally.

RGWhat316 01-28-2010 08:25 PM

Oh no, if only I would be there to see the speech Punk gives them.

According to a report on F4WOnline.com, Phillip Brooks and Jason Reso, better known to WWE fans as CM Punk and Christian, respectively, were the two who posted the bond to bail out Gregory "Hurricane" Helms and Chris Jericho from their drunken incident last night.

The MAC 01-29-2010 12:03 AM

helms --> tna

Skippord 01-29-2010 12:20 AM

I bet CM Punk gave them a dog the bounty hunter speech on the drive home

Mr. Nerfect 01-29-2010 01:12 AM

I don't know about Dog, but the whole idea of Christian sitting in the passenger seat while Punk drives and plays the disapproving father role makes me laugh.

Punk - How many times have I told you guys?

Jericho - Sorry Phil.

Punk - I'll say it and I'll say it again, this is why I don't drink. You boys do some crazy shit.
