I remember I bought this antisuicide thing back in highschool, where the money all went to this antisuicide help thing, and all the songs were from self proclaimed emo bands. I was like 17 maybe

and then I started studying the roots of emo and hardcore and all that, and was like "what the hell, this is nothing like this"

I think there are three very diverse meanings of the word emo

bright eyes- emo because it's sad and his hair looks like that and he's crying while singing sort of

JEW- the slow melodic sort of emo, i dunno that early 2000s we are using the word emo and taking it back kinda thing

Just one of the most depressing songs ever. Usually if Im sad I'll listen to some stuff previously mentioned, helps me heal and get through it. When I'm like depressed or in a worse emotional state than normal "sad" I toss this bad boy on. Makes me more sad, but makes me deal with shit too I guess. No lyrics to listen to, but the music just tells this story,but just gives you a chance to think about life too.
