Just started watching the second season. Pretty good if you enjoy cheesy sci fi stuff. Anyone else watch this.

Didn't have Sci-Fi so I didn't catch it until later seasons when they finally put Sci-Fi on cable TV. I still managed to catch Stargate though since they aired on other networks. Didn't know what was going on most of the time but tried to watch towards the end of the show and I liked the mini movie/series/whatever that wrapped up things.

It kind of reminded me of The Lexx which is what made me become interested in it.

You don't have Margaritas with Italian.

Farscape was absolutely bonkers. Loved it.

I'd like to get the complete series on DVD, but the box sets are mad expensive.

I was put off getting the DVDs for a long while, but Amazon had them cheap a while back so I snapped them up. Really is an excellent show.

I think it's recently had a R1 re-release, so it might be worth looking for them that way if you can play R1 DVDs.

Farscape was an awesome show, but it gets kinda meh later on in the series.

I just noticed it on my Netflix and am watching it now. Been having a bit of a marathon.

Good choice. I never did quite get my DVD marathon finished, got distracted towards the end of Season 2. I'll finish it someday.

Do you have netflix? Maybe we should have an xbox live party and watch it together....together.

I got the DVD set last month because of the sale on Amazon. Love the show.

Hate the fact that the volume drops somewhere in season 2 on the Netflix transfer.

I will look and see, that's horrible if they removed it. Watching bad movies and making fun of them is a tradition in my house.

The removed it back in December, however, we can still chat while we watch Netflix via Xbox. Looks like you can't have your avatar there with you though which is frankly fine by me. I hate xbox avatars.

I'm fine with no avatars, because that was stupid as fuck. But parties were awesome. Chatting with friends who have moved to Maine and Canadia while watching movies is fucking fun.

Hard to believe we're not all the same person.

You know, I'm currently working my way through a list of shows I feel like I should have seen/I just generally want to see, and I was gonna get a couple more sci-fi shows watched so I was thinking of giving this and Babylong 5*. Any reccomendations on which I should go for first or anything?

Like I said I've got a bit of a list of shows to go through but I'll put these on there.

Bab 5 is awesome. I don't think it matters which you do first.

I rate Farscape over Babylon 5, personally. But give either a go, both good.

I never gave Babylon 5 a chance. Though, didn't the show start out as movies or something?

There are several movies, but it started with a pilot that ran right into the regular series.

I think I'd start with that one, since going backwards with CGI and special effects might be jarring.

It's been a while since I watched the show, but I don't think the CG evolved much over the course of the series.

I personally think "In the Beginning" is a good starting point, but it ruins a lot of suspense of the series. It's kind of like watching the Star Wars prequels before Empire, since you already know what Luke doesn't. It also creates some continuity issues, though mostly minor.

I bought the Farscape complete boxset at the start of March and finished watching the Peacekeeper Wars last night. I had forgotten how great it was, especially season 3, which was immense. I had also forgotten about Sikozu (red-headed pocket rocket scrumptiousness).

So great. One day I'll buy the boxset just because.

I think Farscape really came into it's own once Criton was allowed to have a gun. I don't know what it was but when he got that gun, things changed and the cast really came together.

Also didn't help that Chiana was around and damn I would've nailed that to the fucking wall.

Alas, she is nowhere near as hot without the makeup.

So I've been watching lately. Almost finished the first season, probably finish it off tonight. Really enjoying it, ridiculously fun show. I don't know why I still haven't learned to stay away from Wikipedia though cause I've just spoiled myself of a major death in the show :(

That now makes it Farscape, The Sopranos, The Wire and Battlestar Galactica for which I've spoiled parts for myself by just wanting to check something minor. Should probably just make notes of stuff I want to check and leave it all til the end of a series or something.

Season 3 is immense, yo! Avanti on the viewage, Iggy, so you can enjoy that goodness.

I think I might re-watch seasons 9 and 10 of Stargate Sg1 to get my Ben Browder/Claudia Black fix; way to early for me to wach Farscape through again.

It definitely takes a bit of time to get going. Stick with it.

One day I will finish watching this show! I enjoy it a good deal but it has not yet made me what to steam roll through it. Or even serious about finishing it. But I like it.

Chiana sooooo hot.

Gotta say that I have always compared Lexx and Farscape and that Lexx has a lead.

Just finished the second season and gonna start the third in a bit. Still enjoying it but that Stark guy is one of the worst characters and actors I've watched in a tv show.

You'll be glad to hear that it appears he's barely worked since Farscape.

I'd be more glad to hear he wasn't in this for much longer really, but as he's on the opening credits for season 3 I can't see him dying anytime soon, unfortunately.

Lol Crichton just gave a Stone Cold style "Can I get a hell yeah?" along with added crowd participation. Brilliant.

I only noticed it the other day but the actor who plays Stark was one of the agents in The Matrix.

Anyways, you have another character in the form of Jool coming up, whom is even more annoying than Stark.

I really didn't like Jool.

Zhaan just died, which is okay because she's been annoying for a good while now, plus Jothee's gone too so that's good. Just need to kill of Stark now and it's all gravy. And yeah that redhead bint Jool has only been in like an episode and a half and she's already annoying, she can bugger off too.

Just got the last ep of season 3 to watch, I'll probably throw it on either tonight or tomorrow morning.

No way is Jool more annoying than Stark. Other than her having the whole spoilt princess thing going on she hasn't really been that bad. I genuinely can't remember a more annoying character/worse actor than Stark on a tv show.

Stark was bad acting. Jool was just bad.

Heyo this new redhead bird in season 4 is a little fitty.

I would do devilish things to Sikozu.

In all seriousness, though, I would marry Raelee Hill in a heat beat.

Just finished it off. Great series, a lot of fun to watch and Crichton might be the most likeable main character in a series I've watched.

I now charge you with the task of watching all 10 seasons of Stargate SG-1, followed by the 5 seasons of Stargate Atlantis.

That sounds a bit much, especially as I've already got a fairly long list of shows to watch. Up next for me is to try and catch up with Fringe before the final season starts in about 4 weeks. I've only seen up to about halfway through season 2 but even some of that I can't remember properly so I'm going from the beginning.

Just skip to Season 9 and 10 for Ben Browder.
