Misunderstood Theme Songs
 

So, I often have trouble hearing and making out what the lyrics in theme songs. Leading to me not knowing what is said until usually months later I bother to look up the actual lyrics.

Here are a few examples:


Sheamus: "It's a Sheam' for fame (a yeah) That's my name!" (I still don't know what this one actually is. Don't care about Sheamus enough to look up the lyrics)

Kofi Kingston: "SOS! I hear them soldja!! SOS I hear them waaaaaay" (Actual lyrics: I hear them shoutin'. I hear them cryin'")

The Miz: "I CAN'T COMPARE!" (Actual lyrics, "I came to play". This one made me angry because I was wondering why they gave him a theme that shouted he couldn't compare over and over again.)



I know I used to confuse Matt Hardy's theme as well, but I forget what.

Has this ever happened to you?

The lyrics to Raw is War during the Attitude Era ("Thorn In Your Eye").

Never could understand the middle part where it sounds like they say "soul of beef" since it never made any sense with the rest of the song. WWE had an episode on one of their Saturday recap shows where they quizzed the wrestlers on the lyrics and nobody got it completely correct.

I could never understand a single word in Test's theme.

I've never really had a problem figuring out lyrics in theme songs, but then again I speak english.

I can't understand a word of this theme after the intro.

I heard that too:- "Get it up, get it up Vladimir Kozlov!"

Think those lyrics are wrong, they don't mention Vladimir Kozlov.

I suppose this is where I heard the line I put up above! Still think there is a Kozlov in there :nono:

The opening of Kozlov's sounds like "Yo Pringles chips in bowl".

I used to think the beginning of X-Pac's theme was just someone screaming 'X-Paaaacccc', but after months of delusion, my friend looked up the lyrics and found it was 'Make some noise'.


Also, I never understood Test's either, until now of course. But I always thought the line I now know as 'we can hold peace' was something about goat cheese. I have no idea why.

Honestly, even though I never knew a single word, I always loved that theme.

I dunno...I always thought it was "X-Pac", but that kinda did sound like 'make some noise'.

I can sorta hear what sounds like the end of "noise" but before that it sounds like someone shouting xpac.

Just enforces what i said in the other thread about generic shit with some cunt screeching into a mic, prime example here.

I always wondered what was being said at the beginning of The Brood's theme. It sorta sounded like they were threatening Golga.

Apparently The Brood theme says "hairy ballls" when played backwards. I think me and a friend recorded it on a yak back, to confirm the rumor, and it was true.

There's definitely spoken words throughout. Almost sounds like the women who does Test's theme.

TNA should change Orlando Jordan's name to Lergnag and have him use that reversed version of the Brood's theme.

I just felt like posting this because of Xpac's theme being discussed. They really got lazy when it came to making Xpac a theme, even though it was great
