I am really looking forward to seeing the new graphics, but I'm not sure if that's to laugh at or be impressed by. Either would give me some fun. |

Universe mode has such fantastic potential, but after saying that for something like 5 or 6 years now, I have no reason to think they'll meet that potential.

I really hope you can use that to Awesome Bomb people from the ring to the outside through tables

Coming to Switch too. Depending on if it keeps the same features and how good the engine upgrade is on PS4, I could be tempted for a portable fuck around version.

8-man matches are in the Switch version, so they're not just porting the old 360 version and calling it a day at least. The statement WWE put out makes it sound like it's the exact same feature set as the PS4/XB1 version.
|
Supposedly they've already ruled out custom music on PS4 again. Fuck.
It's especially annoying because MLB The Show has had the feature for the last couple of years, so it's known that it is actually possible to do it. Granted, The Show is developed by Sony so that's probably why they were granted an exception. |
I REALLY shouldn't, and I know I shouldn't, but I will probably fold like a cheap suit and pre-order sooner than later, in some kind of desperate hope that 8 player modes won't suck copious amounts of ass.

Collectors Edition "celebrates" 15 years of Cena
http://mms.businesswire.com/media/20..._1920x1080.jpg
The WWE 2K18 Deluxe Edition video game, featuring

Access to WWE 2K18 Season Pass

Playable versions of Batista and Rob Van Dam, two of John Cena’s legendary rivals

Playable versions of Cena recreating his appearances at ECW One Night Stand 2006 and WrestleMania XXVI

Access to the Kurt Angle Pack, which includes two playable versions of The Olympic Hero

Exclusive premium packaging that includes a unique cover sleeve, which will delight both Cena’s fans and his detractors

An exclusive Mattel action figure featuring John Cena with Cena/Cena Nuff T-shirt options

A Fanatics limited-edition commemorative plaque that includes a piece of the ring mat from Cena’s historic 16th World Title triumph at Royal Rumble 2017, as well as a hand-signed photo from The Cenation Leader himself

Limited edition WWE SuperCard in-game cards decorated with Cena (Nuff) card backs that feature Cena, Batista and Rob Van Dam
Well I sure am glad that if you're a peasant who can only afford $59.99 regular or the $79.99 Deluxe edition you have to wait on Batista and RVD, like they shenanigans they pulled with the NXT edition last year. But hey, if you own a Switch, you don't even have the option of buying this. It's out October 17th if you really want it. But hurry! There's only 30,000 of these bad boys!! |
Also LOL at legendary rival RVD. That was just part of the Edge/Cena feud.
|
Pass.

I wonder if they're going to take out all the pyro in the game in order to cut costs.

If Tony Nese isn't given the same level of detail on his abs then this game can fuck right off. |
That sure is a screenshot of wwe 2k18.
|
Totes gonna pre order due to todays newz.
The look on his face feels like he's saying "Why can't you just take a year off and start from scratch with a new engine?" |
If Seth is that ripped, I'm assuming it's a sequel to WWE All-Stars.
|
They did do a second.
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DGUDxJhVYAAJ8Cs.jpg:large Honestly, comparing it to the 2k16 entrance version, it is much better. But entrance lighting is better than gameplay, so let's see what happens. |

How these games look hasn't been an issue for several years now, unless everybody gets scanned this year.

Looks surprisingly good. The texture on the belt finally makes it not look like a toy, even if it is a bit thin still. For me, they just need to do 3 things to prove that this is the massive upgrade this video makes it look like it is
|
Yeah, I want to see lower card guys. They seem to only focus on the top talent and half ass on the rest.

Smackdown Hotel got them first
https://www.thesmackdownhotel.com/ne...ozawa-and-more Akira Tozawa Jinder Mahal Eric Young Alexander Wolfe Killian Dain Nikki Cross Luke Gallows Karl Anderson Baron Corbin Sheamus Cesaro Dolph Ziggler Bray Wyatt |

Tozawa is actually a really nice reveal. The cruisers were really the only main roster dudes I wasn't sure of. Neville and Aries were going to be holdovers but outside of them I figured maybe TJP, Kendrick, and Swann since the they were cruiserweight champs. Everyone else was a big question mark, Tozawa included.
Bet 10 to 1 the Hardys end up as DLC even though they'll be on-disc. |
47 name revealed in total for Week 1:
Akira Tozawa Alexander Wolfe Alundra Blayze Andre the Giant Bam Bam Bigelow Baron Corbin Big Boss Man Big Show Braun Strowman Bray Wyatt Bret Hart Brie Bella British Bulldog Buddy Roberts Bushwacker Butch Bushwacker Luke Cesaro Dean Ambrose Diamond Dallas Page Diesel (and Kevin Nash) Dolph Ziggler Dusty Rhodes Emma Eric Young Erick Rowan Goldust Hideo Itami Jinder Mahal Kalisto Kane Karl Anderson Killian Dain Konnor Lita Luke Gallows Luke Harper Mark Henry Nikki Bella Nikki Cross Paige Sami Zayn Sawyer Fulton Sheamus Sin Cara Summer Rae The Undertaker Viktor |

I actually don't think that's too bad of a likeness all things considered. But given that Nikki's main appeal isn't meant to be her looks I'd agree they're not out of the woods yet. Let's see how badly they fuck up Billie Kay and Peyton Royce if they're in. |
