I don't know if I buy that he was fired. Probably asked for his release like the others did. Only because it happened on the same day.

I see people complaining about AA getting fired and them hiring Abyss and other lesser guys for backstage roles...

Seems Anderson's firing might not be just a simple "changing of the guard" or anything contractual related but instead something a lot more serious based on a recent rumor going around the net.

Supposedly he was involved in an alleged inappropriate incident that WWE doesn't want to ever become public and was serious enough that it left WWE no other choice but to fire him.

I was thinking when they busted Robert kraft they said he was not the biggest fish what if arn was part of that.

There was another billionaire caught, I dont think AA is on the billionaire level

No way WWE releases Arn Anderson days before Ric Flair has a birthday celebration on Raw without there being some kind of provocation. They also wouldn’t want him doing anything for AEW or Starrcast. I hate to say it, but I’m pessimistic that the company’s hands were tied.

While its still not known what exactly lead to his firing, Observer's Dave Meltzer reported that Anderson and Vince had a pretty heated argument recently that led to him being sent home as punishment.

In terms of what was said, Meltzer stated he was told several different versions of this argument so nothing definitive at the moment.

I hope it’s just a falling out with Vince. Arn, as far as talent goes, still has so much to offer wrestling.
