INTERESTING....

If Miller isn't hurt, then that must mean that his time in Buffalo is over.

EDIT: Lol, that's what I get for reading page 14 and not realizing that there was more on page 15. :p

JimmyMess 02-28-2014 07:54 PM

shame shame on you!!!! haha

JimmyMess 02-28-2014 07:55 PM

Also Buffalo received a 1st round in 2015 and a 3rd round in 2016

Hanso Amore 02-28-2014 08:36 PM

That's great return for two ufas.

Gonna miss miller and otter. Hope stl wins the cup. But they got good pieces in return. Interested to see who else goes.

Bad News Gertner 03-01-2014 12:44 AM

Stewart is a friggen beast. He'll have a ball in that division.

Skippord 03-01-2014 12:50 AM

he's a beast the three games out of the year he decides to play

Bad News Gertner 03-01-2014 01:20 AM

He's finally in a top notch organization

Hanso Amore 03-01-2014 09:31 AM

If miller resigns with the blues or they reach the conference finals that 3rd becomes a first this year.

Sweeter pot. Nice.

Bad News Gertner 03-01-2014 09:54 AM

I had the Blues going to the cup finals at the start of the year and this just cements my claim.

Heyman 03-01-2014 11:03 AM

I heard rumors of Ryan Kesler to Pittsburgh.........with Maanta being a part of a package that comes the Canucks way. I think that would be a pretty good deal.

If St. Louis is committed to bringing in more vets from Team USA, I wouldn't mind seeing Kesler go to St.Louis with Jayden Schwartz coming the Canucks' way as part of a package.

JimmyMess 03-01-2014 11:52 AM

I just read that the Flyers are interested in Kesler, might try for him before the deadline

Hanso Amore 03-01-2014 02:04 PM

If all shakes out the sabres will have at least 5 firsts the next 2 years and 5 2nds

On top of the 5 2nds and 4 firsts they have drafted the last 2 years.

It sucks to be this low but they are stacking the deck.

Girgensons is a stud. I'm not ready to give up on grigorenko but with the way he's been fucked around and his challenge to get out of juniors I don't know what we have in him. Zadorov and ristolainen are going to be Norris contenders.

Hanso Amore 03-01-2014 02:06 PM

I'm hoping we send matt moulson to la for a first. Then flip ehrhoff to a team like the oilers for a prospect and a 2nd. That still leaves them with halak and Stewart they can flip. I'm all about acquiring picks and prospects.

Then we can go into the draft and get the 1st pick and have enough assets to make a run at a few quality players via trade. A la bobby Ryan.

The scenery for this game tonight will be amazing. Suppose to be almost Blizzard like.

Also. Buffalo, you're drunk right now and a hot ass mess. Good Lord.

Arashi Kage 03-01-2014 07:30 PM

Wow! That LaFontaine resignation is interesting. It was his GM who pulled the trigger on the Miller deal, so he can't be upset about that, could he? Maybe the owner forced the trade and Pat didn't agree?

Maybe Pat wanted to keep Nolan as coach, but GM or owner don't?

Miller could always resign with Buffalo after the season, so why quit over that?

Corndad 03-01-2014 11:25 PM

Crazy saying this I'm sure after the score was 5-1 but Fleury was by far the best Pen tonight. Blackhawks could have won that game 10-0. The Odd Man Rushes I lost count of. Kesler would be a nice addition but I think need to look real hard at some Defense men esp with Paul Martin being injured and who knows when Letang will be back and Orpik just looks lost without Martin with him.

Skippord 03-04-2014 04:43 PM

Panthers traded for Roberto Luongo

I've never heard of the goalie they got in return.

Bad News Gertner 03-04-2014 05:35 PM

Markstrom for years had been considered the top goaltender prospect in the world, but has yet to develop. Such a weird situation.

JimmyMess 03-04-2014 06:39 PM

oh really? Like I said, no clue, looks like that yet to develop is a probably not going to develop

LoDownM 03-04-2014 07:46 PM

A good amount of trades today.

It's increasingly appearing that way. I thought he'd be a star by now.

JimmyMess 03-04-2014 08:42 PM

i just checked out his stats. He's a tall fucker! 6'6"

Arashi Kage 03-04-2014 09:32 PM

I had Markstrom in TPWW fantasy hockey until he was sent down the AHL. He cost me a few matchups with his 800 save%. Considering the support that Lou was getting from the Canucks defense, I can't see Markstrom doing much better (at least at the beginning of his time in Vancouver).

Ermaximus 03-05-2014 12:07 AM

I don't get this trade at all. Bring a guy back who shit all over your club after leaving last time?

Emperor Smeat 03-05-2014 11:34 AM

Martin Brodeur hinted he'd like to be traded if the Devils are able to find another team willing to take him.

Rangers-Lightning rumored to be discussing a trade involving the Rangers getting Martin St. Louis as the basis of the deal. The Rangers first choice was Ryan Kessler but he refused to wave his no-trade clause.

Bad News Gertner 03-05-2014 11:38 AM

St.Louis for Callahan a 2015 first and 2014 2nd, and a condtional first if the Rangers reach the conference finals.

Ohhhhh Tampa, not good.

Ermaximus 03-05-2014 12:34 PM

Gertner, Boyes is staying in Florida.

Fenix122 03-05-2014 02:57 PM

Islanders trade Andrew MacDonald for Matt Mangene and two draft picks from Philadelphia.
Guess the islanders are back to rebuilding...again

Corndad 03-05-2014 03:50 PM

Vanek to Montreal

Fenix122 03-05-2014 04:00 PM

Makes the decision to give up two higher draft picks for Vanek seem even more terrible now.

Blitz 03-05-2014 07:38 PM

What a ridiculous deadline.

I was annoyed at first that the Leafs didn't get a dman, but after seeing the nonsense that some teams did, I'm ok with it.

David Legwand for Calle Jarnkrok is stupid. Jarnkrok is their top prospect.

Fuck knows what the hell the Islanders are doing

The Luongo trade was ridiculous as wad the St.Louis deal.

JimmyMess 03-09-2014 03:57 PM

I love that Rusty Klesla was like "yeah I'm just not going to Buffalo"

Hanso Amore 03-09-2014 06:26 PM

Not really. He's hurt and is going home. He retired from the nhl. He also never reported to dc.
