Well, I was right...the Leafs are out of the playoffs...couldn't make it in on an 82-game schedule...sad for the NHL that only 1 CDN franchise made the playoffs...all 7 should be in, in 7 different series, not 1.

7 teams in one series would be intense.

Basically all the Canadian teams should have to play to earn the right to play the American teams

That's the gist of what I meant. All 7 CDN teams make the playoffs. All 7 play in 7 of the 8 available 1st Round series. All 7 win their Round 1 series. And the last U.S. NHL team is eliminated in the Conf. Semi Final round, leaving the rest of the playoffs to air only in Canada, with no more playoff hockey, for the last 5 weeks of the season, on U.S. TV, ad money from U.S. advertisers be damned.

Listen I was trying to give you props for an innovative idea. I mean in our defense we only really notice the NHL come playoff time and well with only 1 little Canadian team in it, it's hard for us to even know you still have any teams besides the one that wears our colors.
