Is there any interest for this? Everyone nominate 5 games that released this year and on the 1st of the year we take the top 5and put a poll up to see what tpww thinks is game of the year???

I'd keep it to a short/big list we all vote for just 1 game.

OR

Have categories for the "Big 4 (PS4, XB1, Switch, PC)" exclusives and 1 category for best all-round game.

No need to have 10 for each genre of game.

EDIT: Be advised, you might want to hold off until the end of the year. A few heavy hitters have yet to be released. Darksiders 3, Battlefield 5, Just Cause 4, for example.

Smash isn't out yet, but based on what we know, I think ity deserves a nomination. Always a fun game, and you'd be hard pressed to find anything with the amount of content you're getting out of the box with ulrimate.

I would also put Streets of Rage 2, Double Dragon 2, Dragons Crown and Scott Pilgrim vs The World very high up on my list. I might would put DD2 above Turtles in Time.
