A question i have been wondering.... When Ric Flair does retire... should the Big Gold Belt be retired as well?

(2) Why would the Gold belt be retired? Flair doesn't even hold the title and has nothing to do with it anymore.

Why would you retire the belt? Do you know how many iterations of championship belts there would be just because one guy who held it retired, so they had to make a new one?
