Book on the life of Brian Pillman coming out end of October
With it being a particular anniversary today, I feel it's the appropriate time to announce the upcoming release of my first book.
At the end of October, Crazy Like A Fox - The Definitive Chronicle of Brian Pillman 20 Years Later will be available on Amazon and other online retailers. The book offers the most in-depth analysis of Brian's personal and professional life ever compiled, with unheard details of his football and wrestling careers complimented by exclusive interviews with close friends and colleagues, such as: - The Pillman family - Dave Meltzer (Wrestling Observer Newsletter editor and close friend of Brian's) - Kim Wood (Cincinnati Bengals strength coach, father figure to Pillman and co-creator of the Loose Cannon) - Bruce Hart (Brian's trainer, partner in Bad Company and close friend) - Raven (Former travelling partner, worked together in WCW and ECW) - Jim Cornette (Booking committee member for WCW and the WWF during Brian's time in both) - Mark Madden (Former PWTorch writer and confidant to Pillman) - Les Thatcher (Promoter of the Pillman Memorial Shows) - And many more... https://i.imgur.com/5Ifn7sql.jpg I know there are a few Pillman fans on here, so thought it would be cool to post... |
Congrats on your book! Hope you bring the podcast back!
New episode this week :-)
Yo, you're writing this? Someone on r/SquaredCircle was talking about it on the Rewind thread today. Cool.
No interviews with Bret and Austin?
Odd. |
Sweet!
How was interviewing cornette and bruce?
Congratulations on getting a book out. Onward and upwards by the sound of it. I can't wait to hear latest podcast too.
Nice dude
Can't seem to find the book on Amazon. Seems a shame that it isn't there for pre-order now since I'm seeing it get a lot of coverage in "the dirt sheets" today and yesterday
Good cover.

For those interested in picking this up (its getting great reviews, and I know our own Dale Newstead has read it for an objective take...) - Amazon code for $5 off $15 on any print book:
BOOKGIFT17 Works a charm for this book... |
Good look, boss. I'll probably scoop one of these on Thursday, being a Cincinnati guy and all. :y:
Man if Dale Newstead read it and he liked it, I'll have to buy it!
It is legit great. Liam interviewed about 7 million fucking people and through them almost made it feel like an autobiography. Very detailed, very well-written, and just really cool. |
Gotta finish up my Sean Avery book and my Montreal Wrestling book and I'll pick it up

From this week's Observer:

Still fucked that any biography of Brian Pillman won't have Austin in there. Just seems poorly researched.
Given the feedback from people far more knowledgable about the subject than yourself, I'd have to say your opinion on the matter is poorly researched.
Biography on Tommy Dreamer next plz.

Hm, does Amazon ship outside of the US?
I could probably find it online, but even though I read comics on my laptop I could never read a book on the computer. It just doesn't work. |
Damn, even if they do ship outside of US I would probably pay a fortune.
Depends where you want to ship to, where are you based?
Gonna get mad #HeelHeat with the #TPWWBoyz for posting your sig.
I like it. |
Here, now we can be a heat seeking tag team.
I hope you get cancer
