I have terrible news to report. Luke Harper/ Brodie Lee has passed away at age 41 due to a non-Covid related lung issue.

Just heartbreaking news. Feel so sorry for his friends and family.

feel so much grief and sadness for his family first and foremost. 41 is no age for anyone to go...and I can’t imagine losing a father at that age.

Professionally, I feel gutted for the man and all his fans. He was outspoken about how unhappy he was being given mostly nothing to do for five years. He finally gets his big break, the chance to shine he deserves...and now he’s gone.

Just a horrible tragedy.

I agree. This one has me reeling. What a great wrestler and as all the love from the buisness is saying, a great man. Fucking horrible loss for Wrestling and AEW. As a wrestler at least he had a fantastic last run in AEW.

Was thinking about stuff from Lee's matches I enjoyed a lot and his big boot might be my favorite for that move.

The way he'd follow through with the motion after the kick made it look a lot more impactful and brutal than most big guys who did that move.
