It seems like people in their mid nineties have been dropping like flies lately.

Jared Allen to the Bears

Droford 03-26-2014 09:49 PM

They probably had to ban dunking on the goalposts so they cold make them higher and not risk the whole thing falling over

Kris P Lettus 03-26-2014 10:13 PM

The crossbar wont be higher, the uprights are going to be taller.

Jimmy Graham bending the goal was specifically mentioned because it delayed the game 20 minutes

Pats restructured Wilfork's contract to 1 yr for $8 mil with an option for 2 more yrs.

Ermaximus 03-28-2014 12:27 PM

MJD is a Raider. This kind of saddens me knowing his career will likely end there.

ClockShot 03-28-2014 01:11 PM

Eagles cut DeSean Jackson loose.

I guess he's got some gang relations and the Eagles didn't want another Aaron Hernandez on their hands.

Emperor Smeat 03-28-2014 01:27 PM

Eagles signed Mark Sanchez to a 1-year, $2.25 million deal.

Dolphins signed Knowshon Moreno to a 1-year, $3 million deal.

Crippla 03-28-2014 11:35 PM

Pretty disappointed Blount went to the Steelers :n:

SlickyTrickyDamon 03-29-2014 03:38 AM

He earned a good deal with the season he had. Hopefully he got a good contract.

ClockShot 03-29-2014 01:29 PM

Ray Rice married his fiancé. You know, the one he beat up.

There's gotta be more to this because now the spousal privilege comes into play.

Innovator 04-02-2014 09:14 AM

Desean Jackson goes to the Redskins because of course

DaveBrawl 04-02-2014 11:39 AM

Robert Ayers is a Gman.

Evil Vito 04-02-2014 07:38 PM

I like that move. Giants seem to have unlimited money this offseason.

Kris P Lettus 04-02-2014 11:00 PM

Desean Jackson is trying to take #10 from RG3.

Ermaximus 04-03-2014 11:28 AM

Desean can fuck himself.

Emperor Smeat 04-03-2014 01:59 PM

Chris Johnson gave an unofficial ultimatum of next Monday for the Titans to end all talks or keep him and his $8 million per year left on his contract.

Pats sign Patrick Chung

Saints sign Champ Bailey

This defense is sick.

RP 04-04-2014 04:24 PM

Did Champ Bailey find a time machine?

Forsett, 28, is a 5-foot-8, 194-pound quick back. The former 2008 seventh-round pick out of the University of California is entering his seventh season and will be joining his fifth team.

He spent the 2012 season with the Houston Texans and new Ravens Offensive Coordinator Gary Kubiak, which gives him an understanding of Kubiak’s system that he can pass along to the other running backs.

“I’m here for that, as well as being able to compete on the field,” Forsett said.

With the Texans in 2012, Forsett ran 63 times for 374 yards (a career-high 5.9 yards per carry) and one touchdown, an 81-yard score. He caught three passes for 38 yards.

Kubiak and his offense were big reasons why Forsett decided to sign with the Ravens. He said Baltimore was one of the first teams that contacted him when he became a free agent.

“I had a ton of success there in Houston with him,” Forsett said.

“I’m excited about the system; I’ve been in the West Coast offense, zone running scheme for most of my career. So, it just fits what I do, where I like to be and where I’m familiar. So, it was a no-brainer.”

Forsett spent 2013 with the Jacksonville Jaguars after inking a two-year deal. Playing through injuries, he suited up for just nine games and had a career-low six carries for 31 yards. He was placed on injured reserve in December with a broken foot and released on March 11.

Apparently a ton of success in the nfl for a RB is now barely 400 yards of total offense. The plan to sign anyone who ever played for Kubiak is getting a little old. They can plan on drafting a RB later rounds as an option and it would have made more sense.

I did like the move to sign Owen Daniels cause that gives the Ravens 2 solid TEs.

Kris P Lettus 04-04-2014 04:48 PM

He is an upgrade on Greer. He is a def upgrade on Corey White.

Evil Vito 04-05-2014 04:59 PM

Giants sign Kellen Davis.

Dunno...probably just another one year stopgap. I'd still love to get Eric Ebron in the first to get a legit target at TE to get the position straightened out long term. Would be rather surprised if they don't go OL or DT in the first at this point.

Maybe Austin Sefarian-Jenkins will still be there in the second.

is there anyway the niners keep this guy?

Heisenberg 04-15-2014 09:06 AM

he could have been in the middle of a joke where he reveals that he is da bomb or something. Sounds too ridiculous to get that mad and drop the "bomb" word at the airport given his platform in society

Does this affect how he gets to the QB? No. They'll probably keep him. He probably said something like "Do you think I have a bomb" or something like that. Dumb mistake by a moron but he's a great player. They'd be dumb as bricks to cut him even with this mess.

The Donald is interested in buying the Buffalo Bills. Says he'll keep them in the area if it happens.

Got a bad feeling about this. Might have too much sway over what goes down in the NFL.

From SI:
Quote:

From the moment he purchased the Generals after the 1983 season, the New York real estate tycoon was viewed warily by his fellow owners. He was 37 years old and uncomfortably aggressive. When Trump spoke at league meetings, it always seemed to be about moving to fall and taking on the NFL head on. Few trusted Trump's motivations, convinced that what he really wanted was the Generals to be absorbed by the established league -- the other USFL franchises be damned.
He was, however, convincing, and on October 18, 1984, the league announced that it would begin playing a fall schedule two years later. It simultaneously filed an antitrust lawsuit against the NFL, claiming it had established a monopoly in regards to television broadcasting rights. Trump emerged as the USFL's unofficial spokesperson, and he came off as undisciplined and unrealistic. More and more of the league's owners dropped their teams, believing (rightly) that they couldn't match up with the NFL's established entities (the Denver Gold, for example, had no hope against the Broncos; the Maulers knew they'd be mauled by the Steelers).
Ultimately, the 1985 USFL season was the end. The lawsuit became a running joke, with the NFL eventually forced to pay $3 for having violated anti-monopoly laws.
I dont give him much of a shot at owning the bills. Probably better chance of being elected President in 2016.
