Lol as soon as he started everybody said “how long until he gets sick of Vince yelling in his ear?”

6 weeks.

Was he bad or?

Yeah he was pretty bad.

As long as McAfee and Cole are still teamed up on Smackdown, I'm all good!

vince needs to go back to doing it

Vince back in the booth would be amazing. ALWAYS loved him on commentary.

Vince should go back to the booth simply because he’s the one person who for sure can get his vision across.

The way WWE handled his hiring was really odd.

They tossed him right into a lead commentator role despite him lacking experience calling wrestling shows and didn't even bother to ease him into the role by having him work their lower tier brands first.

Compared to his first week, Virk did seem like he was slowly getting more comfortable in the booth but still was someone who shouldn't have been a lead commentator since it didn't fit his commentating style. He would have been way better off doing WWE Backstage had that show still existed.

I thought for sure McAfee would be the one who would have got sick of Vince first.

Guess it didn't Virk out for him.

Real sports announcers usually can’t wait to get out of that environment. One thing that Vince really needs to let go of (other than creative ownership of his on-air product), is his micromanagement of commentary teams. Let them work organically and every show will get so much more watchable instantly. Maybe not good, but better.

I miss the old WWE drones like Todd Grisham and Scott Stanford. Holy shit, Stanford was fucking hilarious.
