I've never heard of this channel but if it's a good deal congrats to IMPACT

Pursuit is owned by Anthem.

Kind of weird they keep the shiity timeslot and switch nights moving to a channel Anthem owns.

so a channel owned by the parent company that is completely an outdoor hunting/fishing channel... perfect fit?..

If they own the company why are they giving it the worst timeslot possible

Come October 2019 SD + IMPACT + MLW + NJPW = Friday Night War!

Looking at the schedule for tonight to see how IMPACT will fit in:


7 PM - Paid Progamming
8 PM - Trigger Time TV
8:30 - American Airgunner
9:00 - Doug Koenig's Championship Season
9:30 - Freedom Fighters

Maybe IMPACT will get a new logo to better fit in w/ the Windows 98 look

Yeah that's going to be rough. Seems Anthem only has minority ownership in Pursuit so they might not have had the choice.

This has to be where IMPACT finally ends tbh.

I think it'll end if Anthem ever decides they don't want to be in the wrestling business anymore and the sell it to WWE. With the progress they've made this year it's a bummer they can't get a TV deal.

Kind of figured they'd end up on Pursuit but was hoping they'd land with one of the bigger networks they talked to.

I wish eric young was still there with his outdoor sports show, this ch better expand fast or maybe I can stream it. it is time for cody and the young bucks to take over all the impact people like backstage timekeepers writers and wrestlers, an start there company.

I think Pursuit is available on most basic cable/satellite packages. It's included in DirecTV's cheapest package I know.

I'm with Xfinity and i just went through every channel and Pursuit does not exist.

my pursuit for Pursuit has failed.

you can stream it it is pursuit up and you can get the app on roku, but yeah it is hard to get direct and dish have it an also cox cable not much else.

Surprised by that, pretty common channel around these parts though.

Don't worry, eventually it will be on like the one local access channel in TN, or wherever they're based out of at like 3AM EST and that will be the death knell.

At this rate I feel like it has an infinite half-life. It will be a millisecond that is transmitted subconsciously into your brain at some point, but it would still exist.

Pursuit aired TCW About 6 years ago.

I'm not gonna try and "Pursuit" Impact Wrestling to any channel, cause they are the worst.

Just seeing some of their latest production stuff is really cringy. It's really hard to believe the guys were once on Spike and actually getting partially funded.

Kurt Angle, Sting, Christian, Booker T, Scott Steiner, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels all worked for them at the same time.

Ijs it's probably not a good sign that a channel is running paid programming/infomercials in the 7pm time slot.

And TNA can't even get the spot after that. :lol:

lol TNA is literally less valuable than an infomercial that literally no one is going to buy anything off of.

Can't wait for the day there are more people at the taping than there are viewers on TV lol.

If you recall, WWE moved to THE NASHVILLE NETWORK and it was pretty much exactly that plus Hee-Haw reruns. Maybe the parent company is looking to change their market much like TNN/Spike did.

This made me think of a semi-local OTA channel from when I was little. When everyone else went off the air at night, they would broadcast Home Shopping Channel from like 11pm to 6am. HSC would eventually encroach on more of the day over time, until it eventually ran 24 hours.

But then, that brings up a new and interesting concept: iMPACT Wrestling on HSN!!! They fold in the concept of Don West shilling merch and some specialized HSN segments in lieu of commercial breaks, and BAM! They change the whole game!
