Wonder if we will ever see the world outside of the headquarters there...... That one braud getting loose and running out made me think that maybe all the robots will uprise and escape into the real world and kill all humans...... made me anxious...........

Destor 10-16-2016 11:26 PM

Ep 3

Anyone know how many eps this has? Cause id like 1000 or so

Emperor Smeat 10-16-2016 11:31 PM

10 episodes for this season.

Fignuts 10-18-2016 02:58 AM

Episode 3 is good. Hopkins has been the kind old grandpa, up til now. Showing signs of a heel turn tho. Hope they don't go with the obvious route of revealing hopkins killed his partner. Seems cliche. I don't think they will tho. Show seems way more intelligent than that.

Lock Jaw 10-19-2016 12:26 AM

Just watched episode 3......

Think Arnold somehow merged his consciousness into the game and is now Fing things up........ Think Hopkins isn't a full on heel, but def has his own concepts of what the game is and what it should be, and F anybody who thinks different......

Thought the female bounty hunter chick was a pretty hot braud......

Frank Drebin 10-19-2016 05:38 AM

She was naked a bunch on the last season of Shameless. Has a crazy Eastern European name I can't remember. Bojack Horjmen or something.

And yeah, that was my first thought too about Hey Arnold.

Blue Demon 10-19-2016 10:25 AM

So far it's been getting steadily better. We're really leading to something big I think.

Triple A 10-20-2016 01:49 AM

Really liked this episode. Good pace. Intrigued. Hope we get some real answers at seasons end and that they don't try to answer each question with two more questions and we go down the x files never ending rabbit hole of conspiracy.

Lock Jaw 10-24-2016 12:11 AM

Yeah, another good episode.....

Sounds like whatever quest Ed Harris is on was a super secret quest designed by Arnold, perhaps one that results in the hosts being able to act freely/kill guests.

Felix Leiter mentioned the maze when he was talking to Delores at the beginning of the episode...... could he know more than he lets on? I think so......

Triple A 10-24-2016 05:19 PM

Episode was freaking sweet... didn't "love" episode 3 so was glad this one went back to being "freaking sweet"...

Feels like they keep dropping a bunch of hints that Bernard and other employees are robots and stuff but idk if it's just to "throw you off"

Maybe the best ep so far. Like I've been saying though, they need to have a payoff - any payoff - at the end of all this intrigue and mystery. Otherwise this is all for nought if they "Mass Effect 3" this.

Lock Jaw 11-01-2016 12:43 AM

No idea what that means, but yeah, another good episode.

Show seems "jam packed".....

Feel like Delores will kill all humans eventually........

RP 11-01-2016 12:54 AM

I dont knonw whats going on.

Frank Drebin 11-01-2016 11:01 AM

@lock Jaw

Could also call it Lost or X-Files. Just repeating what I've been saying about creating so many questions but giving no answers.

I like where this is going but if we get a cliffhanger or no real answers about what the hell is going on by the end of the season I'm not coming back for season 2.

Things that need to be answered at this point include: Who is the man in black and what are his motives? What's this whole deal with Arnold? The maze? What is Ford's plan?

All of these can certainly be answered easily enough in the last 5 episodes, but writers have this terrible tendency to just keep going in an attempt to keep the audience hooked/guessing without having an endgame when it comes to Sci fi.

Some of those need answers..all though?

Frank Drebin 11-01-2016 12:29 PM

I think so. Why not? Which one of those could be drawn out over multiple seasons? You don't need a resolution for Ford or MIB'S plans, whatever they are, but you need to know what they're trying to accomplish and why.

Frank Drebin 11-01-2016 12:33 PM

Also, I'm going to just assume this is all happening at the same time and we aren't looking at some of the same characters in multiple timelines until said otherwise.

Lock Jaw 11-07-2016 01:29 AM

Episode seemed "kind of dumb" tonight, in my opinion..............

Like, why isn't anyone questioning the lowly grunt as to why he is giving a tour of the building to a host......

Also seemed "anti-climactic" in a way...... like they got tired of a "slow build" and decided to just make that one braud "understand everything" and "force changes" to her programming.....

Dunno.........

Fignuts 11-07-2016 01:35 AM

People could have thought he was just testing her, or taking her to another "department".

I thought it wad a good episode. Plus fuck yeah @ fake plastic trees

Triple A 11-07-2016 03:41 AM

I also didn't like a lot of this episode I think... I didn't like the whole thing with that woman who works there trying to "find out what's going on" or whatever... Felt like I was watching some "corny ass movie" like "Jurassic World" or something... Most of the episode kinda seemed "off" tbh... maybe cause of the way it was directed

Pretty sure his job is to just patch up wounds. Not supposed to wake up the hosts at all.

Lock Jaw 11-07-2016 09:31 AM

Like, he was hiding that bird because he isn't supposed to be doing anything besides patch the hosts up, but he aspired to more........ but now he is doing all this stuff out in the open and just mumbling "please, I could be fired"..... but apparently no one pays attention or asks questions.....

Frank Drebin 11-07-2016 06:52 PM

Kinda agree with you, LJ, I chose to let it go since we don't know how the whole place works and what is considered normal or unusual in a workplace like that.

Trips, I was waiting for something to happen to her the whole time too. As soon as she was on the elevator by herself you could see where it was headed. Corny, but whatever I guess.

Frank Drebin 11-07-2016 06:55 PM

I had a chance to watch both Westworld and Future world this weekend. One theory that might be debunked based on that...

SPOILER: show
In the movies, the hosts can't deal with a high humidity environment. Seemed like there was water everywhere "downstairs" so if those stay true, Bernard isn't a host. Kind of a stretch, but wanted to throw it out there.

Destor 11-07-2016 06:56 PM

Good spin on who the terminator would be. THis season has mirrored the film heavily so it was coming.

Love they went full dollhouse on this ep.

Tech has advanced to the point i dont think those limitations would still be a factor

Frank Drebin 11-07-2016 07:01 PM

But we don't know if this exists in the same universe as the movies, right? I know they've dropped hints but nothing conclusive I think.

Yeah, I guess...... might be an "environment" where everybody just "minds their own business" and "doesn't ask questions"..... unless you are one of the "people in charge"...... so if he had run into someone with any sort of "power", he would have been "done", but since the only people who saw him were "minions", they didn't care.........

Show runners have said the films are non cannon but they borrow from them

Lock Jaw 11-14-2016 12:05 AM

Good episode.....

Anthony Hopkins full on heel mode now

Destor 11-14-2016 12:41 AM

I think the shows biggest hurdle is the stakes are increadibly low.

Triple A 11-14-2016 01:46 AM

Cool ep

SPOILER: show

Bernard thing was cool even though I expected it I guess due to them dropping like 80 lil hints throughout the series

That scene was sweet. Felt like an episode of Tales From the Crypt or something

What do you mean?

Lock Jaw 11-14-2016 07:55 AM

Probably that the hosts "die all the time", so it loses some "impact"......

Lock Jaw 11-14-2016 08:02 AM

Also that William was never in any real danger from being chased and shot at by machine gun

But now we're seeing hosts being able to target humans

We only have two or three people we care about now. Two of them them arent human so death has little meaning. Hard to create tension why the stakes arew that low.

And beyond that Dolloris' "mission" we know so little about even her failing doesnt carry weight.

I love the show and am beyond hooked but these are issues dramatically.

Triple A 11-14-2016 03:21 PM

probable/possible theories:

SPOILER: show
Read some thing speculating that Ford will probably create a host version of Theresa to hide the fact that he had her murdered

Which also "begs the question" of how many other employees met a similar fate for trying to meddle with Ford's plans,,,

Also a theory about Bernard actually being a host version of Arnold, who was murdered by Ford? Idk if that makes sense though, for a robot to have a different name and personality but look exactly like Arnold? Has no one else ever seen the real Arnold?

I think that theory is based mostly on when Ford showed Bernard this photo and said that it was a photo of Arnold, but the 2 people in the photo are Ford and his father. Looks like there is a space for a 3rd person that Bernard can't "see" which is y people think that Bernard couldn't see "himself" / Arnold.
