LeBron must have read my post.

And kaboom goes the Heat. Along with the rest of Miami.

I'll bet anyone that he doesn't win a championship in Cleveland and leaves after 3 years (or whenever he can opt out again)
No one wins in Cleveland. |
Not that surprising he's going back to Cleveland. Cleveland's really the easier route than Miami. Instead of dealing with Wade's decline he plays with Irving, Wiggins and all the young guys they have. The Cavs will try and trade for Love and all the championship chasing vets will follow him there.
|
|
Not 1, not 2, not 3.....wait wait...probably just 2. IM OUT BEETCHES!
|
Rockets deal Jeremy Lin to the Lakers.
Pretty much saying "Bosh, sign anytime." |
|
Lol I love it... Do you think Wade is pissed?
Also the Cavs are def winning the East this year |
So Krimzon7 is back to being a lifelong Cavs fan, then? Along with those who burned their Lebron jerseys, I guess.
Think Wade hangs it up? He's had knee problems for a bit now and has been on a decline. Not even sure how old he is. |
You know who really loses in this? Shabazz Napier.
|
Bosh is staying in Miami 5 year 118 million contract.
Basketball decision wise I think that's a bad move, but I would rather have 118 million then 88 million or whatever Houston's contract was worth. |
:-\ Cs big plan to get Kevin Love likely just fell apart and mostly because they helped the Cavs a bit too much with the recent trade.
Timberwolves hinted they want a Wiggins-like player for any trade while Love himself hinted he wants to play for Cleveland once he becomes a free agent next year. |

LeBron James announcing he's leaving Cleveland:
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/DQffpK2sCsA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> LeBron James re-signs with the Cavs: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/_kaXlbjHLqw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> And I can make that joke. As a long-suffering Cavs fan from the days of Price, Brad, and Hot Rod, I was a fan before him, and a fan without him. I didn't get all butthurt he left, though, because he not only had a point- he proved it by going somewhere willing to put a team around him and win championships and/or consistently make the finals. My exitement of his return is dampened by all these fair-weather dick riders coming back out of the woodwork. The jersey burning, "good riddance" folks who are now suddenly like "OH WE ALWAYS LOVED LEBRON!!!". |
Melo is staying with the Knicks for next season.
|
People in Cleveland embracing James LeBron... what a bullshit PR move to make it look like he gives a shit, jesus christ... he's ready to "come home" now that his team is falling apart and he's won two championships
|

Glad Carmelo's back. With a couple smaller moves and a coach that isn't Mike Woodson I think the Knicks could be decent next year. And in the East decent gets you a good playoff seed.
|
Lebron's deal ended up being just 2 years, $42 million with the 2nd year as an option.
Pau Gasol signed with the Bulls. |
kinda glad carmelo stayed in new york.
i'm happy getting pau. hope he can stay healthy. |
Happy to get Pau but we are hurting for a wing player. What players are out there to fill our void?
|
Quote:
|
He is closing his contract with Miami currently, via ESPN reports. Don't believe we have the cap space for another huge contract either right? Would have to be a half decent player instead of a star.
|
i wouldn't want wade anyway. last season, even with all of the rest he got, showed what he's got left, and it isn't much. i can only hope that mcdermott and mirotic can produce, provided they reach a deal with mirotic. which i'm sure they will.
|
and that jimmy butler can make good on whatever potential he has. although i'm not entirely sure that plays out the way that i'm hoping.

Pau :(
|
i will appreciate the shit out of him for you.
|
I Memba when the bulls were talking about trading for Pau with some package including Loul Deng.
Just fun to see all the dominoes fall now that Lebron signed. Carmelo would have been exactly what the bulls needed on offense but I think it would have ended up being a mess. Does he seem like the kinda guy who's interested in coach Thibs screaming at him in the 2nd quarter of game 61? |

I appreciate the Nuggets resolve to sign no free agents at all.
|
They were in the lead to get Mike Miller. Has that changed?
|
genuinely bummed about Pau leaving. As stoked as I am for the Lakers rookie picks, I consider this offseason a pretty big fail, as there were some great RFAs on the market that ended up leaving their teams.
The next two years FA crops are pretty great though, and cap space is still there to sign players. I can live with another year of mediocrity. |

Heat resign Dwyane Wade to a 2 year, $30 million deal with the 2nd year as an option. Took another pay cut in order for Bosh to get a max deal and for Luol Deng to get signed (2 years, $20 million).
|
And the Cavs do indeed sign Mike Miller.
|
Kind of crazy there has been zero news on Lance Stephenson. With the major names being taken there has to be a few bidders, Houston maybe, trying to outbid Indiana right?
|
Quote:
|
Lance Stephenson signs with the Hornets for 3 years, $27 million.
|
Cavs and T'Wolves currently in trade talks with the basis being Cavs getting Kevin love and the Wolves getting Andrew Wiggins. Previous talks involved Cavs kepping Wiggins but sending Anthony Bennett instead as the basis.
|
As much as I'd like to see Wiggins develop with Lebron, you have to make that trade if you're Cleveland. Love is a beast , with Lebron and Kyrie added forget about it. The other spots you can fill in as time goes by.
|
I'm stoked for the Ed Davis signing. That kid always looked like he was on the verge of a breakout...time to find out.

Judge recently ruled against Donald Sterling in his legal attempt to block the Clipeprs sale. Sterling also won't be allowed to block the sale if he files an appeal.
Steve Ballmer expected to officially own the team by mid-August baring a sudden legal twist. |
NBA TV has to show more Classics games. I don't need to watch NBA GameTime 6 times a day.
|
They do have a Lebronathon a few weeks ago, and I enjoyed that.
Would I be the only one who would watch like all 98 bulls games? The entire season? NBA TV should do stuff like that. |
NBA considering tweaking the lottery system with one of the big changes being the idea of the worst team no longer having the best odds at winning.

Clippers sale has been finalized. Steve Ballmer owns the team.

It's come to my general consenses that the Cleveland Cavaliers starting roster will most likely be
PG Kyrie Irving SG Dion Waiters SF Lebron James PF Kevin Love C Anderson Varajeo Now you'll look at that roster and say to yourself "Is this the All-Star games starting lineup?" Yes that is how much star power the Cavs have. I know some idiot will say "Yea it's a good lineup, but what about there bench? There bench is solid. Tristan Thompson, Shawn Marion, Ray Allen, and Mike Miller will be great liabilities in the Cavs road to a title. Will Lebron James, The greatest player to ever play the game of basketball leading the way you don't know how many titles they'll win. Lebron James will capture them 6 titles he so desperatley coveted and solitify his legacy. The Wine and Golders and the loyale fans of Cleveland will get what they deserve, A championship to Cleveland. No championship has been won in Cleveland since 1964, the Cavs change that this year. "We are meant to be in Cleveland, Are hard work are sacrifice. This city, these fans all feel that fire. |
Chauncey Billups has officially retired from the NBA

Lol I thought he retired 2 years ago.
|
:| Pre-season hasn't even started and Rondo is already out with an injury. Broke his hand recently and is out for at least 6 weeks.

Steve Nash out for the season.
Feel horrible for Steve, but LMFAO @ the Lakers |
Wonder if he's going to stick to his retirement plans or push for next year as his last. He wanted to retire after this season although that was before he got hurt.
Probably should have retired 2 years ago before he started to get plagued with injuries with the Lakers. |

knicks baby

:y: Celtics won. Probably going to still stink this season but at least today was great.

Lol at the people who think the bulls are a threat to the cavs
