Angle vs. Gable. He’s hand-picked by Angle, beats him at Mania, and Roode turns out of jealousy.

Long-shot, but Angle vs. Punk. Angle’s talking about retiring and Punk makes a surprise return and cuts a promo about how Angle has a tarnished legacy. He always wanted to wrestle Kurt, but his demons got in the way and Angle flaked out as Punk was coming up.

“Why should I wrestle someone who walked out on this company, Punk?”
“Because I’m the only person in this building that doesn’t respect you, Kurt.”

Angle vs. Michaels, double retirement. As long as we get Sexy Kurt.

Angle vs. Harper, hopefully with a new look. He targets Angle with Bray as a manager. Harper is the secret weapon that is going to change WWE.

Angle vs. Zayn. Honestly kind of cold on Zayn right now, but him coming back to prove he can beat an Olympic Gold Medalist is...something. Angle is the only man he believes was as obsessed at chasing the wrestling dream as him.

Angle vs. Joe. If Cena is not coming back, Joe is the ruthless kind of motherfucker who could put Kurt out.

Angle vs. Dream. While growing up, Patrick Clark idolized Kurt Angle, American Hero. He drank milk and tried wrestling at high school. But somewhere along the way the American dream got corrupted. He could never be as...perfect as Kurt, so he had to reinvent perfection.

Angle vs. Bryan. Kurt shows up on SmackDown and calls out DB. He says it has always been a dream to wrestle him. Bryan says that Angle represents American systems of oppression. He claims to represent a nation, but he blinds them to how they are being distracted by real issues. A Money in the Bank Ladder Match is held between Owens, Ali, Kofi, Zayn, Balor, Corbin, Lashley and Ambrose at Mania (they can still do the PPV). Ambrose teases leaving the company with the title shot.

Angle, Roode, Gable & Benjamin - Team Angle vs. Shinsuke Nakamura, Rusev, Sheamus & Cesaro - The Bar International

Angle smooths things up between Gable & Benjamin and puts together a team of heroes to go against these jealous thugs that have been trying to get in the way of Kofi Kingston getting his title shot. He wants to do good with his last match. But can the all-Americans trust Bobby Roode?

Angle vs. Booker T. He STILL wants to have bestiality sex with his wife.

Angle vs. Cena. Kurt goes out against the man who put him into the Hall of Fame.

Angle vs. Fandango. “What’s that, Kurt? You want to have...one...last...dance?”

Angle vs. Jarrett. “Who’s your daddy, Kurt? Who’s your Big Daddy?”

Angle vs. Bret. At the Hall of Fame, Bret reveals that he has been cleared of all concussions and has been secretly training for a return for the past few years, dreaming about wrestling Angle in his hyperbolic chamber.

Angle vs. Nia Jax. “If I’m going to go out, it might as well be permanent.”

Angle vs. Matt Riddle. Could be a cool way to launch a young guy’s career.

Angle vs. Scott Steiner. Though if you add Samoa Joe to the mix, Angle’s chances of winning would drastically go down.

Scott Steiner has to redo that promo though word for word (replace sacrifice with WM though..or not)

Angle vs Daniel Puder

There are 3 logical choices from where I am sitting.

If Cena and Joe aren't fighting, either would be a good final opponent for Kurt.

The other one would be AJ, but looks like he is already slated to face Orton.

Aside from those 3, there are quite a few that could get a good match out of Kurt, but don't feel like a Wrestlemania match.

The only one that MIGHT be able to get built up enough between now and Mania and would get a good match out of Kurt would be Lashley. I don't think WWE would be willing to play up the TNA history though, which would help build the match.

After the match, Bray does the "derp" magic and Angle disappears forever from WWE.

I would have said that though, but it felt way too obvious. Plus, have you seen Steiner lately? Say what you want about Angle aging, but he still looks healthy enough and can still move. Scotty is just... sad. His whole body looks like Paul Orndorff's arm.

My second choice from what I posted before: Angle does the honors for Porkchop Jones. 50/50 shot on if they continue the bastard son facade or not.

I was at Kurt Angles last WWE match before he went to TNA(at an ECW show 8/14/06) vs Danny Doring. It would only be appropriate if they dug up Danny Doring and gave him a WM moment vs Angle in honor of the 5 second match they had vs each other in front of 500 people that day 13 years ago

I'd still like to see Kurt vs DB but not over DB vs Kofi.

Angle vs. Cena seems to be the leading rumor.

He'll be back. Angle's never seemed like the type to just sit around and not compete.

I honestly think Angle will be done. He’s finally reached the stage where his body can’t be pushed as far as his mind wants it to be.

Since he beat an Iranian guy for his gold medal (boo) have him face Daviari, both of them actually. Then they can beat him down in a handicap match, retire him and get revenge. Then have Muhammad Hassan return and they can all celebrate.
