Disney must be flexing on Netflix. I cant figure this out. Daredevil was amazing.

Jessica Jones is done after S3. Punisher is done after S2. Before we figured at best Luke and Danny could combine into Heroes for Higher or a longform Defenders show since their casts blend so well but now? The best show of that mini-verse? It's definitely a purge.

Yeah, something is definitely happening with Disney+

This is money. The shows cost tons in licensing. Netflix has a good catalogue of in house IPs they can produce much cheaper.

These shows arent done though

I really cant see Disney doing Punisher, or Jessica Jones for that matter. Both are a bit dark for the Disney format. Especially Punisher.

Never said they'd move over, just that Disney+ is forcing a seperation.

Hopefully it's not the last we'll see of the characters/actors in the MCU. They've all done a great job at their respective roles.

Ya.. that's what i said too. But I think Punisher and Jessica Jones might end up being on Netflix because they dont comply with the Disney format without a major water down.

They were all kinda 'Light R'.

Jones would be a toguher transition to pg-13 i think but thats the only one.

Punisher is far from Light R. Especially with the story going forward. No way Disney wants any part of Punisher. I'm willing to bet the deal here is to give Disney, Daredevil, let Netflix keep Punisher and maybe something else in return that we dont know about right now.

I also dont believe Jessica Jones is " Disney " material. It would need to be watered down from what it is now and by then, it would be worthless. I'm guessing Jessica Jones stays on Netflix too.

The deal may involve the fact that apparently Infinity War will be on Netflix on Christmas day for a set amount of hours or days.

Yeah IW is a late pick up when it was confirmed Ant Man w would be the last MCU movie on Netflix.

Or MAYBE, some of the street heroes are headed to the big time.

It'd be cool to see them on the big screen before they head back to the small one somewhere

Disagree. I dont think they will make a Daredevil movie. And honestly they should not. But I can see Charlie Cox Daredevil being involved in a MCU movie for sure.

Also reports in the past 48 hours or so saying Disney execs dont want the netflix shows due to the cost theyd have to pay netflix. Looks like these IPs are done for now.

Some hope in me that Daredevil gets picked up by someone else (although I know the likelihood of this happening is minimal). Really enjoyed all three seasons and the last one finished on a cliffhanger.

Pretty sure S3 did not end on a cliffhanger. Bit of a tease with Bullseye but overall the season ended much more complete than Iron Fist and Luke Cage did.
