If the other person isn't prone but hoisting themselves on the rope, they help out by shifting their balance to spread out and lessen the impact.

Ah, I see.

Still, seems like a very risky maneuver, very likely to go wrong.

The "Why It Ended" podcast on MLW is really good. Probably the most under-rated wrestling podcast out there

I don't know a lot about Toni Storm but she's very attractive.

I couldn't tell, either. Especially with the big "U" all over her face. I initally thought it was that Kona dude, and was wondering what the fuck belt he had, as it didn't look like the UK title. I thought they made up another NXT midcard championship and completely dismissed the Women's division given this implication.

I'm not a fan of wrestlers going onto social media and being all touchy-feely about wrestling and such, and I'm not a big fan of Ellsworth, but damn. I can only imagine what it must be like getting to work with Jerry Lawler.

I've been meaning to check it out. I really like the concept.

Mr. Nerfect 08-06-2018 05:58 AM

Oh god, there is a Vince Russo one.

Interested to hear Matt Morgan, Tully Blanchard and JTG.

Bad News Gertner 08-06-2018 07:42 AM

Listening to the Matt Morgan one right now. Pretty great so far. I 100% agree with Cornette on Morgan: he should have been a headlining star. I've been a huge fan of his since he debuted. I don't get what happened

The Justin Credible one is basically Justin fucked up on something, putting himself down and rambling. I had to shut it off.

He worked too small sometimes I think, bumped for regular guys like a regular guy

Did this happen at TNA? My TNA viewing is very limited.

Innovator 08-06-2018 08:06 AM

I remember even back when I was all about workrate matches watching him bump for someone thinking “he shouldn’t be doing that”, it may have been off a clothesline feeding a comeback

Bad News Gertner 08-06-2018 08:09 AM

Very weird that some veteran didn't take him aside or an agent. nless this happened in TNA which no explanation needed. He was very agile, could cut a promo, had a cool finisher and looked like a monster . He should have been a slam dunk.

lol I think he had Tough Enough burned into his brain, because they make everyone do everything. Everyone has to learn how to bump and feed, everyone knows how to do top rope moves, etc even if they're never gonna need to do that stuff in an actual match.

Morgan was so early in his career at the time he was on SmackDown that I think his instincts from training took over.

Ol Dirty Dastard 08-06-2018 08:49 AM

Listened to Sid on Sean Mooney's podcast. Very strange interview but Sid kind of reminds me of Brock Lesnar.

I have memories of thinking A-Train was the worst guy on the roster. I dreaded seeing him each and every time.

I'm guessing it was just me being a workrate smark not thinking that big dudes who can brawl could possibly be good wrestlers.

Bad News Gertner 08-06-2018 10:06 AM

I remember losing my shit the first time I saw the Hellevator . Such a cool looking move.

Honestly no matter how good A-Train was I just couldn't like him.

Bad News Gertner 08-06-2018 10:56 AM

I thought A-Train was awesome. He had some cool moves.

Ol Dirty Dastard 08-06-2018 10:58 AM

I think it was his look. I just hated it so much. I know he was a big man, but his aesthetic was such a turn off. Like it just said "bottom-of-the-card muscle" to me. He also had 0 charisma.

Lock Jaw 08-06-2018 11:01 AM

Joe sure does love sweating.

Cool King 08-06-2018 11:48 AM

Seriously though, now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever seen a wrestler that sweats as much and so easily as Samoa Joe.

Within the first minute of his matches, he becomes just a big ball of sweat.

It's crazy.

Innovator 08-06-2018 11:53 AM

Brock and Shane are both up there in terms of sweating

Cool King 08-06-2018 11:57 AM

They are sweaty beasts too but I don't think they sweat as quickly as Joe does.

Evil Vito 08-06-2018 12:05 PM

Justin Roberts is jacked. What the fuck.
