Wait, so this new belt is not just replacing Reigns' two belts? Sucks big time that they are splitting up the belts again..... and not even doing it by splitting up the actual belts but by just introducing a new one....

If they were just gonna dilute the importance of the championship right away they might as well have just let Cody win at WM. Really craps all over Roman Reigns and his historic reign and the eventual story that dethrones him.

This is a real LolAEW move from WWE. It would have been tricky splitting the belts, but yuck at them just making a new one.

Trips kept saying “World Heavyweight Champion,” but the belt says “World Champion.”

This is like when the AEW All-Atlantic Title had the flag of Japan and shit on it.

I guess we know what the Money in the Bank Winner is going to do too.

Actually could be a good story if LA Knight or someone wins MITB and aligns with The Bloodline. They help him cash in on whoever is the World Champ to get the briefcase out of play and that causes friction between the World Title scene and the Universal Title scene. But I doubt they have that much planned.
