Can't wait till Vacant makes his debut in AEW.

First week in charge of the brand and Vince is already screwing around with the script hours before the start of tonight's show according to PWI.

Guess that makes NXT an official main roster brand now going by that standard.

Also shouldn't it be NXT 3.0 or 4.0 depending on how you view the move to USA Network.

NXT seasonal era ---> NXT developmental era WWE Network & USA Network ---> NXT developmental era USA Network only* ---> NXT Vince McMahon era.

They weren't joking when they said it would look like a scaled down main roster set and venue.

Basically getting rid of the intimate but very smallish feeling NXT's venue used to have for something more generic/sterile but livelier and bigger for TV in terms of visual. Like going from a small bingo hall or club to a gym for wrestling shows in terms of visual jump.

Saw a few reports Pete Dunne just signed a new 3 year deal. That and him being only 27 seems like the most fitting choice in Vince's eyes.
Knight is the best on the mic but also the oldest.
Ciampa was a great heel champion, but doesnt have that edge as a babyface.
Kyle should have momentum after winning his fued with Cole, but Cole in AEW means he just got the favor from a guy on his way out.

My guess barring a surprise entrant is Pete Dunne.

I will watch I guess...

So Rick Steiner's son is now the new Mojo Rawley if that interaction with LA Knight is any indication.

Like a week or so after he debuted it and probably because it felt really abrupt and the ridicule he got online over being a knockoff Orange Cassidy.

I don't like the new set. It's too bright and happy.

The set up is reminding me of early to mid 90's WWF smaller venue shows. I like that. Wow Braun Breakker with a massive victory. I like it.

I didn't recognize anyone backstage with Breakker, but then again I don't watch NXT. Are those talents whom "we know"?

I wasn't expecting to like the new setup as much as I do. I get some 90's WWF vibes from it. The old setup was very underrated IMO, it was pretty fucking awesome but this is the opposite but still good.

Briggs and Jensen very old school with their non ripped bodies. But they have size and strength, I like that. The action is really good so far in this tag.
