Finally got a chance to run Orisa...she's definitely one of those characters that benefit from the Elite controller having the paddles in the back. Really ran some fools in CTF with her.

She's very dangerous if you manage her cooldowns well. An Attack and Defense monster.

While she can't straight up 1v1 Hammer Bro she can certainly disable him. And if the fight is on my turf (near a hacked fat healthpack), then I certainly win bobbing and weaving.

So I spammed the freezing chick until I went from silver to platinum. Feel really good about being able to hit platinum even though it took a lot longer than I thought it would. Came 1 game away like 5 times before hitting long losing streaks. Feel like if I play with a team now I won't cause anyone to lose though which is good.

Hi, I love this game this is one of the most favorite game in my good list.

It is a good list indeed.

Attacking on Hanamura. Cap A pretty quick. Struggling on B. Can't even get a foot on it. Guy on our team leaves with 2:30 still left on the clock. I switch to Orisa and that one change in dynamic completely breaks down their defenses. We actually cap it 5v6. Next on defense, they cap A fairly quick themselves, but we're able to hold on to B for the victory.

Guy who left comes back at the last second to claim the victory with us. ****ing kidding me?

Starting to feel like Orisa is my strongedt tank. Usually able to do work with her.

Damn. Never won a 5v6 or lost a 6v5. The other team must have been pissed.

Orisa is just so much fun to play I've found. She's like the perfect tank.

She pairs well with Lucio.

Played for about 3 hours last night, got 8 levels. Looooovin' it.

I spammed Mercy every match all night to ensure I got at least one gold for that sweet sweet XP. With group bonus and consecutive matches, was getting like 4-5k xp even in losses. Tasty.

I seriously have gotten the same Cyborg 76 skin in 3 boxes...wtf.

I think I got the Widowmaker Uprising skin 4 times over the course of the event. Was a bit angry at that

Who are the meta heroes for competitive? I think I am capping at platinum with Mei.

All about diving now for capture points.

Don't forget Pharmercy. A good Pharrah teamed with an even halfway decent mercy, and its an uphill battle for the other team.

Lol. Google results have Mei as one of the worst heroes. Very close to the bottom. I picked am awesome hero for my main.

'Dive' composition teams are comprised of the most mobile heroes of any class (mobile tanks, attackers of course, the faster healers) who basically zerg rush a point rendering most static defenses moot at the usual choke point.

Winston + Lucio + [Genji/Tracer] is pretty much the core.

[Ana/Mercy] as 2nd healer. Zarya typically as 2nd tank. 2nd DPS is kind of dependent on what the other team is running. Pharah works (Mercy should be 2nd healer if Pharah)


It's more complicated than that but that's kind of the basic

I wouldn't worry too much about tier lists or the meta. Those are created with a skilled team using good communication in mind. Most players between bronze and diamond don't even have any common fucking sense.

That's not to say it can't work at lower levels, but again, you need competent players communicating with one another. Heisenbergs group and I haved rolled dive comp teams even though we basically just pick whoever we wanted, because the other team picked a dive comp without knowing why or how it works well.

End of the day, at bronze to diamond, it's better to pick who you're comfortable with, as long as its a character the team can use. Even then you have some wiggle room. I've been on some teams where the compmlooks terrible on paper (no tanks, no dps, etc) but we end up not only winning, but destroying the other team.
