Alison said in an interview that she was trained by Chavo Guerrero for the wrestling parts and that all of the moves that are executed are suppose to be circa the mid-80s to ensure the correct time period & style. |
7 episodes into GLOW and it's pretty great. Really funny + likable characters....there is a scene in the 3rd episode where this character describes pro-wrestling and it's dead-on.

Ruth's first promo should be used word-for-word by Bray Wyatt on Monday. It would sound like a normal Bray Wyatt promo even to those that haven't seen GLOW yet.

"The Warrior" by Patty Smyth is a fantastic opening theme song for this show. Would karaoke the shit outta that.

Seeing Kia Stevens makes me sad that her "run" in WWE had to be halted so abruptly when she was exactly what the Women's division needed in a time before the NxT callups.
Depending on how WWE views this show and how much they whore themselves out for just a smidge of mainstream media coverage they might be inclined to call her up and ask what her schedule looks like these days. Anyone know if she can still go or if those days are long gone? |
I think she was back in TNA rassling just last year...... I dunno for how long, or how good she still was......
