How much did RAW suck last night?

How much did RAW suck last night?

I turned it off to look for a Gotham stream at around 9:40... I usually leave RAW on in the back round- but fuck that...

Simple Fan 11-24-2015 08:49 PM

Are the first two option not the same thing. I want to vote for both.

DAMN iNATOR 11-24-2015 09:01 PM

You could always go The CyNick route and vote "I liked RAW."

Simple Fan 11-24-2015 09:28 PM

I only watched the second half and feel like I missed the best part which was New Day. I liked Slaters one man band segment to. And Paige keeps doing the PTO on the table like it hurts more on the table. She need to Rampage them through the table.

You missed Kofi breaking 4th wall and railing on country music.

The Condor 11-24-2015 10:14 PM

Not good

So basically I missed nothing, or at least nothing important or entertaining.

dronepool 11-24-2015 11:06 PM

Actually, I'm not even a New Day fan and I don't hate country- but them looking all goofy and trolling country fans made me go "heh". They were probably the most mildly entertaining part of what I saw.

Mr. Nerfect 11-25-2015 07:34 AM

The bits I caught weren't even that bad. Just boring as shit.

Heisenberg 11-25-2015 09:16 AM

Here's my piss, they have all day to push this "Reality Era" crap. It wouldn't be crap if they taped some vignettes of Miz crapping in people's bags and having that be a cause for a match.

I would love to start a RAW with a red hot Undertaker(or anyone of credibility) storming to the ring to call the Miz out to answer for his poop crimes.

The Undertaker d. Miz via chokeslam/broken neck

Start the next segment with Triple H and Sin Cara sifting through the trash bins, looking for Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley(obviously these guys are nowhere to be found), ending with Triple H pedigreeing Sin Cara into the arena floor. Triple H produces the Hardcore Championship and lays it by El Sin Cara dude. Out appears a challenger.

Steve Blackman d. Sin Cara for the WWE Hardcore Championship(welcome back block)

Roman Reigns backstage promo with Renee Young and The Rock cardboard cutout giving Roman lines to say. At the end of the Roman promo he lays out The Rock cardboard cutout and tells that sum bitch to belee dat. Kevin Owens comes out and almost kisses Roman on accident, leading to a match. If Owens wins he gets a shot for Roman to be his prom date.

Roman Reigns d. Kevin Owens via spear to the Steen spleen

While all this awesome segments are transitioning, have Daniel Bryan's face on the titantron appear from far away and slowly zoom until the next segment/match starts. The commentators don't mention it, but it frightens Byron Saxton to the point where he stabs himself with a pen and has to leave WWE for good.

Backstage segment with Barrett and Sheamus reenacting the awkward Snitsky/Heidenreich stares, then out pops Fit Finlay and they all go run roughshod on the Usos for being Rikishi sperm.

WWE Champion Sheamus destroys The Usos while Barrett and Finlay are tended to by medical staff for alcohol poisoning

Vince McMahon comes out and apologizes for the past decade, producing a CM Punk portrait he then throws to the ground and pisses on. Stephanie McMahon comes out and squats a huge dump on the pic. Shane O Mac comes out to a grand ovation, picks up the piss/poop soaked pic, Irish whips it into the turnbuckle and clotheslines it.

The New Day d. The Dudley Boyz via putting Devon through a table, they all pee on him and call him grandpa

Paige d. Charlotte for the Women's Championship(have them trade victories for 16 weeks, no one cares about that crap anyways)

Rusev promo with him threatening to floss Ziggler's teeth with his pubes, high fives Alberto Del Rio and they destroy the catering area while searching for Kanye West.

Main Event with Dean Ambrose v.s. John Cena, winner gets the next B-movie WWE Studios gig.

John Cena d. Ambrose after The Great Khali comes down from the rafters wearing a black overcoat and wielding a bat. He distracts the ref and takes out Dean with a bat. Dean comes to after 5 minutes and thinks he's back in the 1950s.

This leads to Crow Khali v.s. Pompadour Ambrose(The Ambrose TPWW wants) at TLC

A) Wow, a wrestling forum post just to heap scorn on a show
How original.

B) The quality of posters in this place has gone to shit. I may have to rise up to save the place.

Mercenary 11-25-2015 11:08 AM

Neck beards having a fit think they are a genius at booking cause they play EWR

The CyNick 11-25-2015 11:56 AM

I actually thought the show was decent. Some spots were a little slow, the lack of star power is really starting to show. But I enjoyed the key parts of the show.

Damn you two, lighten up, obviously none of what I posted will come to fruition haha

Mercenary 11-25-2015 11:59 AM

Heisenberg 11-25-2015 12:03 PM

trust me, if I didn't have Fallout 4 I'd probably be breaking my TV right about now. It's like this all the time between Wrestlemanias anyways, I've just accepted it's not for my age demographic anymore.

My sons watch it so I'll catch some RAW here and there, but I'll always have the right to say I was there for Steve Blackman

Is this because there isn't anyone on the roster that you want to see? Furthermore, is that due to "new stars" not being made/pushed/etc. or because you have a genuine disconnect with the product overall?

I ask because I have began to fall into "former WWE fan" territory. I just don't find anything interesting anymore. Seems the same ole rinse & repeat story with the "main event picture". I enjoy NXT quite a bit, but RAW is the SSDD and they don't even really try with Smackdown! anymore.

Really enjoy Cesaro, but he is out for the moment :( I still think that the Reigns v Cesaro match was way better than the Reigns v Ambrose match at SS. That isn't a knock against Ambrose at all, I think he has much more natural charisma than Reigns and would be a better champion at this point in time. Just feel like the match had more "OMG" moments, or however you want to label it.

I love everyone involved at the moment, it's just that I've seen the movie before. They have to slow build all these new guys, but they're doing it the same way they've been doing it. There's just other stuff I'd rather be doing than watching 3 hours of RAW.

Part of me stays tuned due to going to WrestleMania and I'm overly optimistic about them turning the corner and I want to be part of the crew that finished the trip and could say, "hey, I was there when Miz crapped in Big Show's bag and Ambrose dropped the promo that shattered the foundation of PG WWE"

SlickyTrickyDamon 11-25-2015 01:22 PM

It didn't record on my DVR so it is the SUXORZ!

Evil Vito 11-25-2015 01:25 PM

Didn't watch one second so I can't say it sucked or anything. But reading the results it just doesn't feel I've missed anything. It just sounds very boring, which is a shame since there are so many talented workers right now even with the injuries.

drave 11-25-2015 01:27 PM

Yea, definitely feels like a lull and snoozefest most weeks. I quite enjoy the 90 minute version of Raw, maybe why I'm not as "burned out" or whatever.

Definitely ready for a new breed of talent that goes hard in the ring though. I still enjoy a good match and couldn't care less about most "stories".

Heisenberg 11-25-2015 01:36 PM

I'll watch some of the matches if they pair up new guys, but I've seen Sheamus v.s. everyone so hanging around til the end seems far from possible. There's just better stuff on TV manggggggg

XL 11-25-2015 05:16 PM

All feels very much "on the rails" at the moment. They could have done something far more interesting with Survivor Series but they didn't, and now we're on the road to shoe-horning a bunch of guys into Tables, Ladders, chairs, and Tables, Ladders, & Chairs matches. Hope they have another Stairs Match this year, that didn't feel forced at all.

When the DVR says no, must be a sign it sucks. Didn't catch that it wasn't recording til 9:30. Dont know why it wasnt recording but just scrapped it up to DirecTV decideing Raw wasnt important enough to record.

KaosDarksol 11-25-2015 06:59 PM

Would have been a little bit better if they saved the MITB cash in for raw. I hate when someone wins the title just to lose it 5 minutes later.

Or done it mid match like Wrestlemania. Or had Sheamus cash in befor the finals and make it a triple threat and have him legitimately win to build him back up.

Then you have sympy. That's what they want. They don't want somebody with no sympy at all.

what is sympy?

Sympy
Sympy is the act of understanding when a person encounters misfortune in their life. Sympy can be shown when a person is physically, or indeed mentally hurt.
