my favorite part of it was how he counted the Acclaimed and Private Party by their individual members. So, it was basically 5 matches. Well, besides talking about Swole being bad when Rosa could barely pull anything out of Jade.

Like I understand wanting to publicly stick your neck out for your company if someone claims there’s racism or a lack of diversity or any of that...but there’s surely a more professional way of addressing these claims than just shitting on the person who made them.

That's basically it. It's just a dumb way to respond to it all.

Tony sometimes comes across as this kid who grew up never being told 'no' so when he gets any criticism he sends out a petty response instead of hiring a PR person to respond to things with common sense.

Guys Swole is TERRIBLE. And for those who want to complain about the lack of diversity in AEW I think they are absolutely trying their best with what they have. It's not like they opened the promotion with Keith Lee and Jon Gresham. There aren't as many top level black wrestlers as there are white, Latino and Asian. But Tony has clearly done his part in being inclusive from the beginning.

It has always been troubling to me that AEW didn't have a black star that actually mattered. But Scorpio failed, Swole failed, Private Party flopped, and Lee Johnson is totally forgettable.

The Acclaimed and Dante Martin/Leo Rush/Team Faz story have all been pretty good though.

Tony Khan gets hot headed way too easy and another instance where a PR person is much needed for him in AEW. The public dig at her work effort wasn't needed and just listing a few names comes more across as him deflecting any blame over Swole's comments.

The stuff Big Swole mentioned was both true in the sense that AEW could do a much better job highlighting and focusing on their diversity and women's wrestling but also somewhat of a stretch since she pretty much ignored everyone who wasn't black in the company. She totally ignored that Jade Cargill has gotten one of the biggest spotlight treatments in the company since she debuted. She also ignored that she got multiple chances at becoming a bigger star in AEW but things just didn't work out for her in the end for various reasons.
