They’ve announced that they’re running Dynamite at the Prudential Center in New Jersey in March, so it’s a step to a bigger arena...one that WWE usually runs a few times a year.

I think I'll go to the Prudential Center show. Might as well. It's kind of a bitch to get to, but It could be worse for a much worse show.

Damn, feel like they might not come to "NYC proper" for a few months now that they are going to Newark... Kinda don't really feel like going there...

Based on a tweet from Cody afterwards, seems they were considering the Barclays Center and/or similar venues in New York City but got blocked due to existing deals with WWE.

I like these videos, but I really do think they should do stuff like this at the top of Dynamite instead of on YouTube (or maybe just re-air it). Gives importance to an otherwise thrown together match in Best Friends & Orange Cassidy vs Jurassic Express, recaps the Kris Statlander saga so far, and sheds a little light as to why Cody & Dustin are wrestling the Lucha Bros. Add in a few more minutes covering the other matches announced, and that could be a cool, different way to open up a wrestling show every week.

Or just disperse these clips throughout the show. You can't rely on viewers to continue following on YouTube to get pertinent storyline information. Not every TV match needs to be 12 minutes, knock a few back down to 9 minutes and make time for some of these clips.

AEW finally going across the Mississippi River (I'm not counting those quick skips across into Texas and back) and deep into the western U.S. and going into Colorado and Utah.

This is what I've been waiting for. They've been hanging around the deep south/eastern half of the country too long and need to explore new grounds.

Said it before, but I would have made the weekly show 30 minutes, an hour tops, with no wrestling at all and just promos, angles, and hype videos building to matches.

I think they're deliberately trying to plan red herrings. The tennis racket is an allusion to Cornette, whereas the racket is for Matt Hardy. The glasses could be Joey Janela or Joey Ryan or some Joey fuck.

Marty is wrestling for ROH during Mania weekend. Supposedly his deal expired in November so he's just been freelancing ever since.

It's possible that in the past year he decided he'd rather not go straight to AEW like everyone assumed.

Seems he's also still in talks with ROH regarding him potentially staying with the company.

Thinking it's probably Christopher Daniels. He'll turn on SCU at Revolution.

Yeah. He was pretty good in Lucha Underground and same in Impact from what I've seen of him there.

I saw him live with Impact and he was working with RVD. It was horrible. But I have seen him in some amazing spots and a few good matches. He obviously has a special look and I think can be good in AEW against Hangman, Pac, Omega, and even Jericho.

He seems a good fit for AEW.

Only 6'0 but at 268 he'll standout a bit, which is good.

I hope they hype him up with vignettes. My issue of late with debuts for aew is they're random as fuck and the crowd doesn't seem to know who they are.

The Butcher and The Blade getting a few weeks of hype vids before actually coming outta nowhere would've helped their reaction immensely.

It worked for Wardlow since we had an idea of who he was when he showed up.

Apparently Melissa Santos is very adamant that he has not signed on any dotted line.

According to PWI, even if he did sign a deal he's not going to show up anytime soon since he recently suffered a torn biceps injury.

Could be looking at anywhere between 4-6 months depending on how severe the tear is and rehab time needed.

That DDP promo is like the embodiment of why I wish they'd just do more prepackaged stuff on Dynamite. The live promo was unbelievably awful and the Road To one has made me convinced I want to see a match that I'm pretty sure is going to be bad.

Excalibur and Dave Brown are a great team. Probably the best AEW has presented.

TNT extends Dynamite through 2023

From what I'm reading they are getting another show. Wonder if TNT is just going to start airing Dark, or if it will be a brand new show.

I'm thinking it's that piece of shit Solomon Crowe from NXT. He just dropped the belt to Tessa and has Cosplayed as Jim Cornette before. He will fit in right well with the Dork Odor.

The deal is reportedly worth $45 million annually and TNT has the option to extend into 2024 with an increase in the rights fee. The longterm stability this creates is obviously a huge win and the money coming in is something you can't turn down, even if I do feel that adding another show is not in their best interest right now creatively.

The next round of free agent hunting is going to be extremely hard-fought. Happy for all the talent that's about to get paid.

Terrible though to have another night of programming....
