Cesaro vs. Rollins was very good despite the shenanigans at the end.
Guess Reigns is feuding with Rollins next since one of the Usos attacked him during the match. Poor Jimmy, first day as part of the Reigns family and he's probably getting kicked out soon via his dumbness. |

Austin vs. Booker T supermarket brawl is still one of my favorite all-time moments from SD.
WWE's done a way better effort when it comes to doing throwback-like shows for RAW than what SD's throwback show has been so far. |
SD's women's division managed to somehow turn into piss break tier these past couple months.
The Natty, Tamina, Nia, & Shayna streak in recent weeks finally got snapped and the reward was a nothing Carmella vs. Ruby match. |

Reigns & Usos promo and Cesaro wrecking them all afterwards was great.
This week's "throwback" show was somewhere in between average and pretty good. Probably the weakest throwback style show WWE has ever done in terms of effort but at the same time it did avoid the big problem where the Legends and former wrestlers just overshadow the current guys. Only stuff really worth watching was the Ceasro vs. Rollins match and the ending stuff with Reigns since the throwback videos are stuff you can easily find elsewhere. |
They should have played this theme for the intro....... (assuming they didn't)... the best SmackDown theme by far

According to Ringside News and later confirmed by the Observer, Triple H's has been getting more hands-on with SmackDown in recent weeks.
Him and NXT lead writer Dave Kapoor played a big role in the production of last week's Throwback show since Bruce Prichard is currently on vacation and SD's lead writer wasn't around backstage. |

Like WWE just cramming a bunch of people and stuff into a single segment and ended up being disorganized as a result. |
Ziggy vs. Rey Mysterio was pretty good.
:lol: at back-to-back matches tonight where the heel side lost because they had a brain fart moment happen. This time it was Ziggy yaking with the ref instead of being focused on Rey and leaving himself wide open to get the surprise roll-up treatment. |

This crowning moment by Nakamura with Corbin's crown would have been way cooler had he not just lost to Corbin moments earlier.

Bit surprised the IC title isn't being defended at Mania Backlash since the stuff from earlier tonight had all of the making of WWE usual booking setup for a last minute addition to a PPV card.

Jimmy Uso vs. Cesaro was pretty good despite the DQ finish.
Whelp can scratch off Cesaro's name from the potential winners list at Mania Backlash since he just got hit with the WWE PPV go-home curse the moment he managed to beat up Reigns and both Usos almost with ease to close out the show. This week's Mania Backlash go-home show was enjoyable and a way better effort than what RAW did earlier this week. |

This is one very cringey opening to a WWE show and possible of all-time in WWE history.
WWE somehow managed to find a very lame way to hold a "Parade of Champs" moment and big announcement of fans returning to shows. Thank goodness Paul Heyman & Bayley salvaged it a bit in the end. |

6-Woman tag match was mostly decent.
Natty & Tamina about to learn quickly why being a champ in WWE is usually a bad thing since that submission loss is just the first of many they likely are going to have as Women's Tag champs. |
Guess Aleister Black is now a demon I think based on that new vignette.

Him playing a guitar solo of Nakamura's theme was cool. :lol: at McAfee and Cole trying to rock out to Bugez's rendition of Nakamura's theme though. |

Aleister Black now has Fiend-like powers although at least his looks cooler than Bray and Bliss' spooky powers.
IC title 4-way title match was very good until it went to an abrupt halt via Black's spooky shenanigans. This week's show was pretty entertaining overall. |

Been noticing that Pat McAfee has the same habit Mauro Ranallo used to have when it came to calling NXT shows.
While someone like Cole is always sitting during matches and is more mellow in his movements, McAfee is a lot more energetic and likes to hop out of his seat a lot whenever he sees something interesting happens in the ring. Like a good part of this Usos vs. Street Profits match is just him standing and swaying around while he calls some of the action. |

Usos vs. Street Profits was very good, especially the latter half of it. Probably could have been a few minutes shorter since it had to deal with 2 commercial break interruptions.

Guess WWE finally remembered Smackdown's women's tag division is more than just Natty & Tamina and Nia & Shayna.

Holy shit at Ruby's neck landing hard on the bottom rope.
Not sure if Tamia gave a little extra on that whack to her back or Ruby just overshot the sell. Also the tag match was meh but at least it was something new for the Women's tag division. |
