‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is back in production with a stellar Marvel trio

A few weeks ago alarms went off in Marvel Studios because of the restart of production of ‘Daredevil Born Again’, the next MCU series focused on Matt Murdock and his universe adopted from Netflix, all after his appearances in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ and ‘She-Hulk’, even with part of the filming already completed. Well, as revealed by The Hollywood Reporter, the production now has a new production team in the form of two directors and a showrunner, all of them old acquaintances of Marvel.

The new Daredevil series is now underway
After throwing away everything done up to the moment of ‘Daredevil Born Again’, Kevin Feige already has a new team that will be in charge of giving a new look to the long-awaited series, now as part of the MCU. Starting with a showrunner, Dario Scardapane, who has already worked with Marvel on ‘The Punisher’ for Netflix -forming part of the same television universe as ’Daredevil’- and in other successful productions such as ‘Jack Ryan’.

The director duo formed by Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, directors of ‘Moon Knight’ at Marvel Studios and right now the second season of ‘Loki’, will be in charge of directing the new Matt Murdock series for Disney+. With the writers strike now resolved, its teams can now start working under the guidelines of both the new directors and the new showrunner, waiting to complete the new script and start filming once the SAG-AFTRA strike gets a resolution. With everything, ‘Daredevil Born Again’ still does not have a release date on Disney+.

I got up to Captain America: The Winter Soldier in my re-watch of the phases 1 to 3 films. It is such a superior instalment in the series. A great story with its own unique (for Marvel films) feel, but still being part of the wider universe. If only Marvel could have built upon this, but sadly they descended into the wokery, and story, etc took a backseat.

Winter Soldier is very high on my best marvel list. Maybe at the top.

I personally have a hard time with John Krasinski, but that's because my brain automatically views him as a live-action stand-in for Roddy from "Flushed Away" and as such, can't take him seriously in ANY serious role he is in. And it isn't just the ears... but they don't help.

So now they've made it official that the Netflix pre-Disney+ stuff doesn't count, which is fucking dumb.

There's so much of this happening, plus all the different versions of the same stories.....

I'm up to and I've finished Doctor Strange in my rewatch of phases 1 to 3 of the MCU films. I feel fatigue creeping, though I don't know if it is just me or the MCU itself. Therefore, I'm taking a break from it for most of the week, and either Friday or next week I'll watch GOTG Vol. 2.

I watched Spiderman: Homecoming, last night. I'd forgotten it had Laura Harrier in it. My brain had to keep rebooting itself, as it could not compute how ridiculously attractive she is. I've seen some recent photos of her, and she appears to have had a minor boob job, which is a shame, as she was perfect the way she was.

The bakery truck that Steven drives in Moon Knight and the Red Skull's car from Captain America: The First Avenger were spotted on the set of Deadpool 3. This is sounding so fucking random.

A rated R MCU film still feels impossible.

I watched Endgame last night, and with it, finished my re-run of phases 1 to 3. I'm also going to watch Spiderman: Far From Home, as it deals with the immediate aftermath of Endgame, and I'll probably also re-watch Far From Home, but after that, I'm done... until Deadpool 3 comes out.

I was initially excited about Blade, but from what I've heard, its becoming an absolute shitshow and is probably going to be woked-out of all recognition.

So now "early 2024" is the line we're getting for the release of X-Men '97, which is vague as fuck and a big "well no shit" at this point. It's especially hilarious with all of the talk of the work being done for the second season when the first is still MIA after all of this time. I will say props to them for giving the Val Cooper character a shot.

So both "What If...?" and "Echo" are having all of their episodes dumped in one go. I don't know if I should take that as them having no confidence in them or having all the confidence in them.

Jonathan Majors found guilty of assault and harassment. Marvel immediately drops him.

Pssh, you won't find any self-respecting A.I. getting busted for reprehensible behavior, that's for sure!

Hopefully they just close that whole storyline.

They should rename it The Krang Dynasty and do an Avengers/TMNT movie
