YAYASS! Looks interesting. Loved the last one so I'm pretty excited.

Frank Drebin 07-22-2018 12:58 AM

Looks dope as fuck.

Emperor Smeat 07-22-2018 01:06 AM

Trailer looked great overall. Hope this film has more Godzilla screen time since that was something sorely lacking in recent films.

Frank Drebin 07-22-2018 01:14 AM

I'm not even a big Godzilla mark and this looks sick. You know Kong has to show up at some point as well, too. Skull Island was one of the more surprisingly good movies I've seen in a while.

Just hope they don't overload this with the "Titans" to the point it becomes bloated.

Emperor Smeat 07-22-2018 01:46 AM

Wonder if Braun Strowman is going to be in this film since he is a "Monster among men."

Maybe he cashes in his Monster in the Bank case to save the world in the end.

Lock Jaw 07-22-2018 01:49 AM

Hated the last one, but this one looks like it could maybe be better.

Seanny One Ball 07-22-2018 04:57 AM

I enjoyed Godzilla. It's better the second time around because you don't spend the entire film waiting to get a good look.

Fignuts 07-22-2018 05:46 AM

I think the first one caught some people off guard because they weren't expecting a slow burn. I loved it though.

Lock Jaw 07-22-2018 05:55 AM

It also felt to me like it couldn't settle down and decide what kind of movie it was gonna be, or what it was gonna be about.

ClockShot 07-22-2018 08:12 AM

I was expecting this to be some sort of Monster slugfest.

Instead we need all the monsters to rally together to take down Ghidorah…….again.

Kalyx triaD 07-22-2018 08:13 AM

That volcano Rodan left might have been on Skull Island.

Seanny One Ball 07-22-2018 08:23 AM

The hollow Earth theory seemed so attractive in Skull Island.

Go here and try and find where Rodan pops out of. It ain't Skull Island.

Damian Rey 2.0 07-22-2018 03:30 PM

I loved the slow burn in the first one. It was reminiscent of the originals, and it made that first roar at the airport worth it.

McLegend 07-28-2018 07:42 AM

The probelem with the first Godzilla was the best character was only on screen for 30 minutes. Most of the other characters were not interesting.

Ol Dirty Dastard 07-28-2018 09:43 AM

Miley Bobbie Brown playing her character from Stranger Things. Tywin Lannister playing Tywin Lannister.

Did you see the original or the re-cut American version?

Shadow 07-28-2018 03:06 PM

He's talking about the first movie in this particular incarnation of Godzilla.

Seanny One Ball 07-28-2018 03:10 PM

Ah, was it even 30 minutes?

Fignuts 07-28-2018 03:44 PM

Hell of a 30 minutes though.

McLegend 07-30-2018 06:48 PM

I was referring to Bryan Cranston, but the confusion is understood.

I liked how Godzilla was handled. I was ok with the “slow burn” approach.

Sixx 07-30-2018 07:17 PM

Another one?

It's rare that you get really good human characters in Godzilla movies in fact the only one I can think of that I really love was Miki

Frank Drebin 07-30-2018 10:14 PM

That might be one of the most epic trailers of all time. The music (Debussy’s Clair de lune) really gives the whole thing a larger than life and emotional feel.

slik 12-10-2018 12:42 PM

That last shot

Rammsteinmad 12-10-2018 01:37 PM

Looks alright. Thought the 2014 one was shit, and I don't feel like this is a franchise that can really take off these days. Just feels like this film will be another huge letdown.

And of course, we're all just waiting for King Kong to get involved, in another shameless attempt at studios cashing in on the whole shared-universe thing.

slik 12-10-2018 02:02 PM

I'm still not sure how that will work. The King Kong they intro'd in this franchise while still considerably larger than past versions was still way, way shorter than Godzilla. Maybe he's grown taller since the 1970's. Also 'zilla appears to be the face in this film. Maybe he will turn heel on humanity in Godzilla vs Kong.

Rammsteinmad 12-10-2018 03:17 PM

I assumed Kong was smaller but faster, more agile and pound-for-pound stronger than Godzilla, who is just all-round more "powerful".

I dunno. I don't really care. Kong and 2014 Godzilla both disappointed me.

Shadow 12-10-2018 03:38 PM

Well that's because you don't know joy or happiness. But no need to bring the rest of us down.

Also this film is gonna rock so hard.

Sixx 12-10-2018 03:47 PM

Meh.

Seanny One Ball 12-10-2018 04:06 PM

Skull Island Kong can't be that much smaller than Godzilla, surely?

Kalyx triaD 12-10-2018 05:29 PM

Kong was a teen in Skull Island. His parents bones revealed that he will be near Kaiju sized.

Seanny One Ball 12-10-2018 06:46 PM

Sadly despite trying to drift with the Kaiju's, my bone remains gaijin sized.

ClockShot 12-10-2018 07:41 PM

After watching that second trailer I still don't get where they're going here.

Is 'Zilla now the sole good guy here? Every monster for him/herself?

Need some more clarification.

Fignuts 12-10-2018 08:24 PM

Some of them are good. Godzilla, Mothra, maybe Gamera. Some of them are bad. King Ghidora and Rodan.

Frank Drebin 12-10-2018 09:11 PM

I'm still down. Looks fun.

Damian Rey 2.0 12-10-2018 09:41 PM

Loved the last one. So excited for the follow up. Also liked Kong: Skull island. So excited for the crossover.
