Hold on, if you don't have kids this requires elaboration. And, I'm guessing that since you said "don't ask", you don't have kids.

Kalyx triaD 03-10-2013 04:38 AM

Don't ask.

Well Groomed Fox 03-10-2013 04:40 AM

I didn't, I gave you a direction.

Wasn't lost.

All I'll say is there is in fact a stoner fairy.

All four title roles have been cast for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles feature, according to Deadline. Pete Ploszek (Shameless) will play Leanardo, Jeremy Howard will play Donatello, Noel Fisher will play Michaelangelo, and Alan Ritchson will play Raphael, according to the report.
No idea who any of those people are,

Kalyx triaD 03-26-2013 01:54 PM

That's probably for best.

Well Groomed Fox 03-27-2013 03:35 AM

The last episode of Adventure Time was crazy depressing.

Paramount will make a third G.I. Joe film, according to Variety. The decision the weekend G.I. Joe: Retaliation, the second film in the franchise, opened reflects the strong box office (see "'The Rock' Saves 'G.I. Joe'"). The film grossed over $130 million worldwide from when it opened Wednesday through Sunday.

One factor in the strong box office was 3-D ticket prices. The release of Retaliation was delayed for the 3-D conversion and it seems to have paid off. The three-quel will also be released in 3-D.

Microsoft currently tinkering with the idea of bringing the Heroes tv show back although it would be exclusive to Xbox services if it actually gets done.

Quote:

Microsoft is in talks to bring back the NBC television series Heroes, likely as part of its slate of original programming under the Xbox brand, reports TVLine.

The revival of the sci-fi series would feature new characters and stories, and could bring in heroes from the show's original run, which lasted from 2006-2010 on NBC, in cameos, according to TVLine's sources.

This past February, Microsoft announced the formation of the Los Angeles-based Xbox Entertainment Studios, a new division built to create original programming and interactive content. Former CBS executive Nancy Tellem, who joined Microsoft last fall, heads up the studio.

Corporate CockSnogger 04-18-2013 06:03 PM

I think Heroes is probably the most clusterfucky tv show I've ever seen.

Tommy Gunn 04-19-2013 07:38 AM

Heroes was abandoned by most of it's fans for turning into a huge pile of fucking shit. I was relieved when it was put out of it's misery.

Kalyx triaD 04-19-2013 12:40 PM

Why? I enjoyed Season 4 and was interested in another one.

Heisenberg 04-19-2013 01:17 PM

I miss HRG and Claire-bear...

Corporate CockSnogger 04-19-2013 02:00 PM

The 4th season was so much better than the 2nd and 3rd, but they'd damaged the core characters and plot lines a lot in those two. I lost count of how many times Sylar flip flopped between being a good guy and a bad guy.

Corporate CockSnogger 04-19-2013 02:01 PM

Also Peter Petrelli was probably my least favourite leading character in a show ever.

Heisenberg 04-19-2013 02:05 PM

Nathan was obviously the better of the two.

Tommy Gunn 04-19-2013 02:35 PM

I fell on the 'kill the cheerleader, save the show' side of things. Season 1 was great, but then it turned into a soap opera and I couldn't give the slightest amount of fucks about poor Claire and her melodramas.

Kalyx triaD 04-19-2013 02:58 PM

But why were you happy for me not to have the show? You said you were relieved. This is strange to me. I see you don't like the show, but how does its existence trouble you? Could you not just stop watching it? Strange.

alvarado52 04-19-2013 03:03 PM

The highlights of the entire show was Season 1, the Villians arch (though they still dropped the ball with it), and...

*SPOILERS IF YOU HAVENT SEEN THE ENTIRE SERIES*

when Parkman used his ability to trick Sylar into becoming Nathan based on his memories.

Kalyx triaD 04-19-2013 04:03 PM

That was classic DC shit right there. Loved it.

whiteyford 04-19-2013 07:14 PM

Heroes should have been so much better than it was.

Lock Jaw 04-19-2013 07:17 PM

Stopped watching Heroes after Volume Three because I thought the season was over. Never got back into it.

I know everybody "hated" it, but the second season was the best of what I saw. With whatshisface who was immortal or something.

The Destroyer 04-20-2013 06:55 AM

I nearly held out until the end, but gave up about 3 or 4 episodes before the end of the last season. Shame it never really lived up to the first one.

Swiss Ultimate 04-21-2013 01:26 PM

"Don't say another Goddamn word. Up until now, I've been polite. If you say anything else - word one - I will kill myself. And when my tainted spirit finds its destination, I will topple the master of that dark place. From my black throne, I will lash together a machine of bone and blood, and fueled by my hatred for you this fear engine will bore a hole between this world and that one. When it begins, you will hear the sound of children screaming - as though from a great distance. A smoking orb of nothing will grow above your bed, and from it will emerge a thousand starving crows. As I slip through the widening maw in my new form, you will catch only a glimpse of my radiance before you are incinerated. Then, as tears of bubbling pitch stream down my face, my dark work will begin. I will open one of my six mouths, and I will sing the song that ends the Earth."

Kalyx triaD 04-21-2013 01:38 PM

Loved that Lovecraftian threat.

ClockShot 04-21-2013 09:38 PM

G4 is in it's final hours right now and NBC is sending it off a couple episodes of Top Chef and Half Baked to take it into monday morning.

Kinda sad, figured there would be a special or two to say goodbye. :wavesad:

Heisenberg 04-21-2013 09:43 PM

Not good at all, not fair.

Kalyx triaD 04-21-2013 10:08 PM

When X-Play was gutted G4 was useless to me. Video killed the radio star and all that.

Heisenberg 04-21-2013 10:09 PM

Was just searching to see if and where Morgan Webb will pop up at next
