A rumor that might become reality, but Full House is getting the revival treatment over on Netflix. "Fuller House" will star Candace Cameron Bure (D.J. Tanner) and Andrea Barber (Kimmy).

Weird cast for the Preacher. Dominic Cooper looks the part, but I'm kinda sick of fake Southern accents. Ruth Negga is a terrible choice for Tulip. Elizabeth Perkins as I have no idea who.

R.I.P. Snake Eyes. Got killed off in the latest G.I. Joe comic.

On a brighter side, he took Serpentor with him.

IDW Publishing is at it again. Mere weeks after the company killed off one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in their ongoing TMNT comic, they're cutting a bloody swath through the cast of G.I. Joe.
Seems like everyone is killing off characters recently.

Also :n: at the one who took the fall for TMNT.

Blonde Moment 04-25-2015 01:21 AM

Death in comics has become a crap plot device used by writers with shit idea's. Enough with the death already. Fuck the only dead character they haven't brought back was Captain Marvel. Last 20 years of superhero comics have been shit.

So 21 Jump Street and Men In Black are in fact having a cross-over movie.

Nick Arcade might be getting a spiritual successor if the new show's Kickstarter fund ends up being successful.

Quote:

We've gotten word from James Bethea, co-creator of Nick Arcade, that a spritual successor is in the works. Bethea has reunited with his co-creator Karim Miteff and the original host Phil Moore for a "spiritual successor" called Enthlevel. The idea is to mix the old school feel of the show with new technology, which is mostly VR-related, where "live action and CG (computer graphics) obstacles converge." It will be team-based just like the original, where "teens through adults of any age can compete."

The Kickstarter has just launched, with 28 days to go and a $350,000 goal.

Mad Max: Fury Road reviews are all coming back super positive.

Gonna try to track down a collection set and just take a day and watch them all just as a refresher.

Emperor Smeat 05-14-2015 10:39 PM

Apparently there is a push going on for a boycott of the new Mad Max film all because Mad Max takes orders from a woman in a film. The group involved with the boycott has been getting ridiculed ever since their stance was made public.

Quote:

A men's rights group have condemned the new action movie Mad Max: Fury Road because of a strong female character in the storyline.

Actress Charlize Theron stars as Furiosa, a character that has angered the men's group on the men's blog Return of Kings.

Despite glowing reviews, blogger Aaron Clarey wrote an article calling on men to not only boycott the film, but to encourage other men not to watch it either.

"Not only REFUSE to see the movie, but spread the word to as many men as possible," he wrote, describing the movie as a feminist "Trojan Horse" used to blur lines between masculinity and femininity.

He was not happy that Furiosa had "barked orders" at Mad Max.

"Fury Road was not going to be a movie made for men. It was going to be a feminist piece of propaganda posing as a guy flick."

Kalyx triaD 05-15-2015 12:45 AM

I can promise you it is not an MRA related group. They don't for shit in media that much. Just rights disparity.

Hilarious, though.

Emperor Smeat 05-19-2015 06:16 PM

The next Mad Max film expected to be called "Mad Max: Wasteland" with a third film already confirmed as well.

According to the director, the plan was always for a trilogy to be done for the Mad Max reboot. Already have the scripts done for the next two films because of all the free time they had with Fury Road's delays and production.

Quote:

“We’ve got one screenplay and a novella. It happened because with the delays [on Fury Road], and writing all the backstories, they just expanded,” Miller said while explaining how he ended up with a fully mapped out Mad Max trilogy before the first film released, on The Q&A with Jeff Goldsmith.

Hulk Hogan claiming he's been working on a deal to be in the next Expendables film.

Quote:

The Hulkster was speaking to fans at the Body Power Expo in England recently, and conducted a Q-and-A session (via Uproxx) that covered a whole mess of topics, including a conversation that he claims to have had with Sylvester Stallone about The Expendables 4, explaining:

We’re trying to figure out a way to maybe turn me into the most evil man in the world. Y’know, Stallone gave me my first break and he’s been a great friend. We had a great conversation, talking about the possibilities. Can I still run, can I still jump? Well, not as fast or not as high, but I think Hollywood could find a good stunt man to help me out."

Powerpuff Girls getting a revival starting next year and to celebrate the occasion, Cartoon Network wanted nothing to do with the original voice actresses. The show's creator is also not involved but he gave his approval for the reboot.

Only the Narrator/Mayor's and MoJo's voice actors were confirmed as returning from the original series. Ms Keen's voice actress as well.

Mega Man comic series by Archie Comics is going on an indefinite hiatus after issue 55. Capcom didn't make the decision while Archie Comics stated the series has not been officially canceled.

Speculated Archie Comics did it to be more focused on the Sonic comic series which has been way more popular of the two. Although even the new Sonic Boom series is also going to end soon but not the overall Sonic comic series.

Quote:

While it has not been canceled, ComicBook.com reports that the series is going on indefinite hiatus after issue #55. Archie editor Vincent Lovallo has confirmed that it is not necessarily permanent, and not Capcom's decision, but their own. In short, it's no secret that the Sonic comics have been much more fruitful for Archie as a whole. I've asked Archie directly about expanding to a new Mega Man X subseries multiple times, and the answer always seems to imply that there isn't a demand for it -- meanwhile, Sonic got his third Archie comic series this year with Sonic Boom.
