Let’s talk about the reasons to watch Raw. I’ll start:

1) I used to watch it when I was younger.

2) I've had a crush on Stephanie McMahon since 1999.

it is at least close to the worst. Can't make it through a segment. And it has nothing to do with it being wrestling. I can enjoy a house show from 1983 from the philly spectrum of msg in its entirety because of the authenticity and atmosphere.

The McMahons should be ashamed at what they've turned raw into. It is despicably bad television.

There are maybe 10 good shows on television, every other show on TV is the list. Try tvguide.com any day you want, there is your list of worse shows.

At least as far as scripted television goes, minute for minute, it HAS to be considered.

Considering the sheer amount of work it takes to even run the show from a production standpoint...fucking hell I feel bad the crew has to do all that shit week in week out only to churn out such a lousy product.

Well, since you threw that "minute for minute" qualifier in there, it might just be... since most of the time is ads with a lot of shit segments in between. And occasionally a good match, which used to be the point of this shit.

Some of that production bloat might be part of the problem, Vito. Especially when it comes to the "writing".

Raw is really bad but there is a lot of shit tv out there that is worse.... Total Divas for instance

Look, I know your whole gimmick is being a racist twat and all, but BET is pretty low-hanging fruit. Hell, The Boondocks picked that apart like a decade ago (Aaron himself has always been super critical even when he was just doing the strip years before that), and that wasn't even when that network was at its worst.

And if you're going to take that shot, you have to concede that Lifetime is worse. Everything on there is either a love "comedy" set at Christmas, or of a woman who is "trapped" in an abusive and/or cheating doucebag relationship. That's it. They made a whole network based on the premise that all men are assholes... unless it's the holiday season when you should shack up with one.

You are missing the point, I am not saying Raw isn't mostly bad right now, but it is better than the majority of TV shows because that is how shitty most everything on TV is.

Not counting other wrestling shows, I would feel confident saying Raw is the 11th best show on TV.

Considering all the bullshit reality shows about every kind of job, stupid D list whores, and a bunch of different karaoke shows, that alone proves Raw is not the worst show on TV.

The poll question is flawed, because no, as bad as Raw can be, I'd still rather watch Corbin vs Crews 100% of the time over something like Keeping up with the Kardashians or Teen Mom. Raw at its worst is better than Parking Wars, a show that is literally about giving people parking tickets.

I would rather GET a parking ticket than watch a Baron Corbin match.

It’s a really bad show, but is it the worst? I think it makes this blanket category of trash that is hard to quantify.

It’s definitely not the best show on television, but it’s far from the worst.

Overall though WWE has taken a big pretty big nosedive in quality the last two years. It's not the talent, they have the best talent they've ever had, it's entirely the creative aspect, commentary, horrible camera work and the overall booking of RAW and PPVs each week. SD is generally significantly better than RAW every week by a large margin. SD is better than most ppvs they produce actually.

I don't foresee things changing for RAW either, from how they are now. Every time they promise change it just gets dressed up and called something else but all the problems remain.

They've taken a big hit in live viewers this year, larger than the drop cable is facing overall. They are down about 500,000 - 600,000 viewers each week from this time last year. I expect things to get back to really boring and dull post WM (especially w/ the matches advertised for EXTREME RULES in it's local markets) and ratings to go back to a 2.2-ish within a few months.

I'm hoping if RAW keeps being really bad AEW will pop up and offer a good alternate to WWE (regardless of the night it airs) and I'd consider no longer watching RAW and giving AEW more of my attention as a fan.

Maybe you really like Corey and Renee’s banter?

Maybe you really like the hard hitting backstage interviews of Charlie Caruso?

Maybe you love all the promos that somehow manage to come off both over rehearsed and under prepared?

IJS if you think it's literally the worst either your sample size for television programs is very small or you have extremely weird taste that has you ranking utter filth ahead of RAW.

Besides, the worst show on TV is the 700 club. Or anything Kardashian related. Or *insert msm news talk show of choice here*. That racist bastard trying and failing to catch fish on some obscure public access channel that has 40 viewers. There are literally thousands of channels with even more shows on. It's damn near impossible to quantify what the worst show on TV is objectively. But I'm about as certain as is humanly possible that it isn't RAW.

That said; it is pretty damned stanky.
