I am gobsmacked that this exists since I never even heard of Rage.

Nah, that's a perfect cross section to take the average of. Rage was a "meh" game that kinda felt like they didn't try too hard because they didn't have to between Fallout 3 money, Elder Scrolls money, and the freebie they got from Sierra going under in WET.
