I'm with you. He annoys me too.

Nicky Fives 10-07-2015 01:33 AM

He looks very autistic savant-like.....

DAMN iNATOR 10-07-2015 06:30 AM

Only problem I really have with him is the whole responding to a question then picking the next question without letting Trebek get a word in edgewise thing.

OssMan 10-07-2015 07:57 PM

B Side Wins Again.

mfer got the daily double on the first question... wasn't a runaway game today, piss easy final jeopardy allowed Matt to counter Allison's finisher into his finisher during her title shot

OssMan 10-08-2015 07:57 PM

B Side Wins Again.

Matt with $40,000 today

DAMN iNATOR 10-08-2015 08:52 PM

UGH...now he's a 10-day champion with damn near $300K...:nono:

OssMan 10-08-2015 10:57 PM

They're booking him against jobbers for the most part, so he's just holding the roster down... let's wait and see how he does on the grandest stage of them all, the jeopardy tournament of champions

SlickyTrickyDamon 10-08-2015 11:19 PM

10 Matt Jackson* Washington, D.C. $289,411

He's the 10 to qualify so far for the tournament of champions.

SlickyTrickyDamon 10-08-2015 11:25 PM

The tournament starts next month too. Matty is heating up at the right time to cash in even bigger.

OssMan 10-09-2015 06:42 PM

Do you think he will cash in at Tournament of Champions?

Lock Jaw 10-09-2015 11:57 PM

Caught today's ep.... Matt dude crushed it.... got two Daily Doubles in a row, $10,000 in two questions.... poor girl in the middle kept getting things wrong and becoming increasingly exasperated....

Lock Jaw 10-09-2015 11:58 PM

Why do they call it a Daily Double if it happens more than once a day?

OssMan 10-10-2015 12:14 AM

B Side Wins Again.

Y'all see Matt get both daily doubles on his first two questions in Double Jeopardy. Finished with his highest score $50,000 even after starting out -$1,000.

Apparently Merv Griffin, series creator, named it after a special attraction that happens/used to happen during a slate of horse races on a given day. To win a daily double bet, one must pick the winners of two consecutive races, hence the name.

He'll get got one of these days...champions who stick around on the show for too long start to make it more of a chore than fun to watch, IMO. I don't have a problem with most winners who aren't on longer than about 7 days. After that I just need to see a new champ crowned for a breath of fresh air.

poopfromweiner dude 10-11-2015 09:31 AM

I always DVR Jeop but don't always watch. I've binge marathoned the 10 day reign

B Side Wins Again

damn my friend BOB's sister was on tonight, but she jobbed to Matt, even tho she finished $10,000+... Matt again got both daily doubles back to back in Double Jeopardy and won $17,000 on them...

DAMN iNATOR 10-12-2015 08:29 PM

He looked like he was close to not having the correct response for both DDs, too...if he'd missed one or both, I think there's a fair chance it wouldn't have been a runaway.

Also was surprised he didn't go for a $400K+ total tonight --- $390,411 so far.

OssMan 10-14-2015 07:36 AM

B Side Wins Again.

Matt gets both daily doubles back to back again. Strangely easy clues last night though, wonder if the writers are trying to screw Matt over.

Fignuts 10-14-2015 06:53 PM

I will find him. I will hurt him.

SlickyTrickyDamon 10-14-2015 07:31 PM

Here he comes.

SlickyTrickyDamon 10-14-2015 07:56 PM

MATTY HAS FALLEN! MATTY HAS FALLEN! MATTY HAS FALLEN!

SlickyTrickyDamon 10-14-2015 07:56 PM

SlickyTrickyDamon 10-14-2015 07:56 PM

DING DONG THE WITCH IS DEAD!

DAMN iNATOR 10-15-2015 10:56 PM

I don't know who he is. I don't know what he wants. But what I do know is that I have a very particular lack of skills, and I will never locate him or take him down.

Instead, I will vainly and in futility watch this year's tournament of champions in the hopes that he eventually loses.

SlickyTrickyDamon 10-15-2015 11:09 PM

How far in advance do they film episodes?

OssMan 10-16-2015 08:18 PM

New 2-day champion is a kind of dickhead

threw up "rocker hands" talking bout slayer

Reminds me of the meth guy who used to work at gamestop

Probably like 2-4 months, I would guess...no way of knowing for sure. I do know a lot of game shows will tape a week's worth of episodes in 1 day sometimes.

Makes sense, you've got a summer break every year to film episodes for the new season...

OssMan 10-20-2015 07:12 PM

Current champion Dean is really boring on the mic... decent technical ability, works slowly at first though

DAMN iNATOR 10-20-2015 09:43 PM

Refreshing change of pace from Matt, though...also glad guy she beat is gone.

OssMan 10-22-2015 11:17 PM

Current champion is very likeable :) He is a video editor :)

Trebek was "geeking out" over the category of final jeopardy being the civil war

OssMan 10-30-2015 07:37 PM

huge crush on nicky...

OssMan 11-09-2015 06:57 PM

Tournament of Champions starting tonight

Droford 11-19-2015 07:46 PM

Alex just did a true daily double on $15,000 and got it..

DAMN iNATOR 11-19-2015 08:00 PM

Guy in the middle decimating his opponents, has $29,600 in day 1 of Finals, 2nd place has $3,400, 3rd has $3,000.

As we've all seen before, however, distant 2nd/3rd place contestants in the Final after day 1 are more than capable of making a day 2 comeback to win stunning victories. Tomorrow night's show promises to be exciting.
