Must play PS4 exclusives
 

Thinking of getting a PS4, mainly because I love Spider-Man and desperate to play that once it comes out.

In the mean time, what PS4 exclusive games would you recommend getting to tide me over until then? I haven't owned a PlayStation since the PS2 so have missed everything from the PS3 era too.

Oh yeah, new God of War coming out this week too. Very different from the old ones though.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. But the timed exclusivity ended last week and Xbox now has it.

The Yakuza Series. Zero and Kiwami.

I regret getting an XBox. Seems like most exclusives are on PS4.

Persona 5

Nioh is another good one.

Nier Automata

Tons coming out soon too. Last of us 2. Days gone. Death Stranding. God of War. FF7 remake.

Will have to try Horizon again...I dont think I gave it a chance to latch on. That being said, I didnt get a chance to play The Last of Us on PS3, and specifically bought a PS4 for the remaster.

Horizon is SUPER overrated. Its solid at best. Visual treat tho.

Yeah, Horizon looks great and has really fun combat but has all the trappings of any other open world game. Having to play as Ashly Burch for 60 hours put a dampener on things for me.

Not PS4 exclusive but Borderlands: The Handsome Collection (includes Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel plus all DLC and additional content) is great.

Horizon is not super overrated. Horizon is the goods.

Yeah, I got bored of Horizon fairly quick and I even love most open world games.

Infamous Second Son was the goods.

Horizon was the "OKs." The "perfectly acceptables if you got it half price and have nothing else to plays." The "drop it to easy and steam roll through the story so you dont have to time to get boreds."

While I respect your opinion that doesn't change the fact that it is wrong.

HZD is an ode to mediocrity. Writing has no depth. It is a good concept that was never fleshed out and the pours into the world design. Its a half idea.

The gameplay does NOTHING innovative. Its a best of from much better games and does nothing better than those other games you could be playing.

Horizon is beautiful and technically brilliant game, but the developers have yet to prove that they can produce a genuine classic. Just a game that soulessly immitates one.

The unfortunate fact of Horizon is that most of what it does well, other games have done better, with better characters and better worlds.

This game you play after you’ve finished The Witcher 3, Assassin’s Creed, and Far Cry Primal. Its a greatest hits album. Worse even its the greatest hits album played by a cover band.

Nah, its super good though.
