 that Rusev video. He's the best.

They never should have bothered with the League of Nations. WWE can't ever keep a proper heel stable together long enough for people to invest in it any more.

Shinsuke Nakamura’s t-shirt that was released on 5/2 in Japan has already sold out. All sizes sold out in just a few hours. His t-shirts are also among the best-selling items on WWEShop.com behind The New Day’s “Booty-O” shirts. That’s very impressive when you consider that Nakamura’s TV exposure is limited to WWE Network programming.

WWE’s upcoming tour of Japan in July sold out within 5 minutes. Nakamura and Asuka will be wrestling on those shows.

His official theme “The Rising Sun” was the first WWE theme to reach 1 million views on YouTube. As of this writing, the theme is approaching 1.5 million YouTube views. At one point, the song was listed as the number 1 soundtrack on the iTunes charts.

Randy Orton, who has been out of action with a shoulder injury since November, is still rehabbing. It’s said that his rehab is coming much slower than expected, but he is recovering from the injury. Orton is expected to start training in Orlando at the WWE Performance Center soon for his comeback in mid-June.

Orton spoke to AfterBuzz TV last month and commented on the injury.

“I had a match October (12) in Chicago. My shoulder got stretched back, and I had a repair 12 years ago that was destroyed. I had a little pain, got an MRI and was told (they) had to fix my shoulder again,” Orton explains. “I had a new guy do it and had a stabilization done that they do to rugby players get, and they’re some tough customers.

“I still have 5-10 years left, but who knows? I feel like I’m nowhere near done.”

AUX reports that several pro wrestling related items were among the items found in Prince's secret vault.

One was a Morris Day-narrated documentary on WWE Hall of Famer Koko B. Ware.

Another project was titled Bockwinkel, perhaps after the WWE Hall of Famer Nick Bockwinkel. It was described as an "unreleased hard rock project" with Bob Mould, who was a huge wrestling fan and worked as a WCW writer at one point.

Prince also had a project called The Undertaker, which may not be related to the WWE Superstar. This was described as a "frequently bootlegged live-in-the-studio performance notable for a Rolling Stones cover."

The behavior has gotten so bad that it’s affecting his in-ring work, according to those talking, and some have talked privately about not wanting to work with the veteran anymore.

It’s interesting that there’s been some talk from fans this year about how this same WWE Superstar has “phoned it in” during some of his recent matches and feuds.

Being speculated online it might be either Jericho or Alberto Del Rio assuming any of it is actually true.

If Jericho is "phoning it in", he is doing a damn good job while doing so.

#1-norm-fan 05-05-2016 10:40 PM

Austin got hurt doing that angle at WrestleMania?

... Yeah, he's never wrestling again.

Evil Vito 05-05-2016 11:01 PM

I know they've kept commentary largely intact on the Network but I just stumbled across one line I'm pretty shocked they didn't remove.

8/1/02 SmackDown. Eric Bischoff sitting at ringside only for Stephanie to inform him that she has stolen 2 superstars from Raw: out come Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero.

Michael Cole: "Eric Bischoff looks like he's seen not one but two ghosts!"

I dunno, I mentioned in the mania thread how in all his matches with Styles, Jericho seemed a half step behind. Like he couldn't keep up. So all the intricate moves and counters they did looked a little awkward.

He's still Jericho, so the matches were still good, but everything lacked the fluidity that you would expect from these two, and that kept it from being great.

Also could explain Jericho's beer gut, although that could also just be age catching up.

drave 05-06-2016 04:58 PM

Jericho's gut defines beer gut now? Some fans are so fickle :P

Disturbed316 05-06-2016 05:23 PM

Jericho mentions on his podcast quite a bit about going out and drinking with the boys...

Dunno, thought it was great/he was great.

Mr. Nerfect 05-06-2016 07:39 PM

Jericho has been awesome lately. His matches haven't been the best, but I don't always want them to be. Too much of anything isn't good.

Mr. Nerfect 05-06-2016 07:40 PM

Rusev has been the stand-out of League of Nations, by far. He seems like a logical choice for next US Champion.

Sixx 05-06-2016 07:42 PM

There's a stable called League of Nations?

Now that's silly.

Sixx 05-06-2016 07:43 PM

Also, how is AJ Styles main eventing already?

I'm not saying he's a bad wrestler, but he just started out in the WWE. Seems odd.

Simple Fan 05-06-2016 07:45 PM

He stole the show at Payback and is really carrying WWE at their moment with all the injuries.

Sixx 05-06-2016 07:49 PM

He was already main eventing Payback, wasn't he?

I just don't remember anyone getting to main event PPVs so soon. Unless it was some big name returning.

Simple Fan 05-06-2016 07:53 PM

He did get a rocket push to be a non WWE guy.

Mr. Nerfect 05-06-2016 07:55 PM

Two of AJ Styles first five singles matches have been WWE Title matches. Don't get too excited though, the last time that happened it was Wade Barrett.

Do you mean PPV? AJ has had matches against Kevin Owens, The Miz, Tyler Breese, Sami Zayn, Chris Jericho on television.

He has been pushed fast because everybody knows he's not a rookie. He is the Phenomenal AJ Styles.

Mr. Nerfect 05-06-2016 08:05 PM

Yeah, probably.

Mr. Nerfect 05-06-2016 08:06 PM

I don't think they intended him to work as well as he has been. His promos and his ring work have been stellar. His charisma has translated. He's a top guy.

Mr. Nerfect 05-06-2016 08:07 PM

I'm curious to see where he ends up after this Reigns program though. Do they call up Balor? Is he aligned with Styles or does he stand against him? Could be some curious stuff.

Mr. Nerfect 05-06-2016 08:09 PM

Would kill for the WWE to get their hands on Christopher Daniels and run the Styles/Joe/Daniels Triple Threat.

Mr. Nerfect 05-06-2016 08:09 PM

I've got a feeling Moose will end up in EVOLVE/NXT when he ROH contract expires later this year.

Mr. Nerfect 05-06-2016 08:12 PM

Needs a better ring name than "Moose" though.

I suggest Jughead.

Sixx 05-06-2016 08:22 PM

who the hell is moose

Lock Jaw 05-06-2016 08:25 PM

Wasn't Moose that "large woman" rassler that TNA had?

Mr. Nerfect 05-06-2016 08:32 PM

Yeah, they did have someone using that name. His real name is Quinn Ojinnaka or something like that. He used to play in the NFL but has been working really hard on becoming a good professional wrestler.

He's billed as being 6'5, 295lbs. He's kind of like a less-chiseled, apparently bigger, black, probably better in the ring, Bill Goldberg.

Mr. Nerfect 05-06-2016 08:33 PM

Has anyone seen Nikki Storm work? She's a Scottish lass that got signed to the WWE. She looks pretty.

Sixx 05-06-2016 08:33 PM

Yeah, just googled the guy.

Looks like he was kinda shit in NFL.

Mr. Nerfect 05-06-2016 08:34 PM

Yeah, it does, but you don't really need to bring that up.

Lock Jaw 05-06-2016 08:38 PM

Ohhhhhhh, so it's another rassler, and it is a man..... I would occasionally hear people talk about "Moose", and always thought it was that chick who was in TNA for a few weeks and I would always think "What, is she actually good or something?"
