Brian Christopher dead at age 46 after hanging himself in jail

Owen, as a boxer of women how do you feel about this situation.

Brian Christopher dead at age 46 after hanging himself in jail

Jesus Christ what a waste of talent. Brian could have been a main event star. Unreal. His life really spiraled out of control this past year

Cool King 07-29-2018 12:50 PM

I haven't read any news saying that he's dead, just hospitalised. :-\

Seanny One Ball 07-29-2018 12:53 PM

Looks like sources have started to confirm it.

Bad News Gertner 07-29-2018 12:55 PM

And now Brickhouse Brown has just died (for real this time)

Gerard 07-29-2018 12:59 PM

Don't they usually take stuff you could hang yourself with (belts, shoe laces etc) off you before putting you in the cell?

His final wwe appearance, don't think most of the crowd had a clue who he was. :nono:

Cool King 07-29-2018 01:03 PM

I'm sure they do but I can only assume that he hung himself with his bed sheets.

That's the only thing I can think of that you can hang yourself with that they let you keep in your cell.

Meltzer,,,,, confirmed it. Damn.

Shisen Kopf 07-29-2018 01:18 PM

Wait, TMZ is saying he's on life support. FAKE NEWS

Shisen Kopf 07-29-2018 01:18 PM

Bobby Jaggers is still dead though. RIP

Gerard 07-29-2018 02:03 PM

2 sites saying Christopher is on life support still.

Shisen Kopf 07-29-2018 02:31 PM

Gertner has no journalistic integrity.

Bad News Gertner 07-29-2018 02:36 PM

Gertner is the most trusted name in wrestling news.

SlickyTrickyDamon 07-29-2018 02:39 PM

Death comes in threes :(

Nicholai Volkoff is also confirmed.

mike adamle 07-29-2018 02:57 PM

It's being reported that it's probably one of the CO's or Ariyan's hung Christopher and staged it as a suicide

Seanny One Ball 07-29-2018 03:26 PM

Source?

That sounds like salacious conjecture.

Maluco 07-29-2018 03:26 PM

Really sad about this one. Too Cool were great, but I loved Too Much. Gertner said it in the op, and don't think it is much of a stretch, this guy had it. He could do funny, he could do intense, he could do sympathetic face, but like his dad, I think he was best as a heel. Too Much were just so cringey and easy to hate. Definately underrated, although people tend to go overboard when someone dies, I think it's a massive 'what could have been' with Brian Christopher.

It's sad he was so troubled and hope he is at peace now

Destor 07-29-2018 03:51 PM

Great talent. Great guy. Always had time to talk.

Shisen Kopf 07-29-2018 04:29 PM

Wikipedia says he is dead and that stuff is way more accurate and cant be changed. You're lucky he's dead Gertner. Wouldn't want to have to call you FAKE NEWS GERTNER

Ol Dirty Dastard 07-29-2018 04:43 PM

Pretty sad. Unfortunate he became a punchline the past few years. Solid worker and had a really nice run in 2000.

Emperor Smeat 07-29-2018 04:50 PM

:'( RIP.

Seems the reason for the lack of confirmation besides Meltzer was due to the family holding off on giving an official statement. Just needed time for others to see him one last time or pay their respects before making the announcement.

GD 07-29-2018 05:28 PM

Rest in Peace. One of the most entertaining acts of the Attitude Era.

actually he and Scotty Teamed up on NXT for a tag title match a couple of years ago and old school raw against 3mb.

:(

Danny Electric 07-29-2018 05:45 PM

This sucks, I loved Too Cool loads, I was always more of a Scotty fan but loved their dynamic together. It was at the time I had got back into wrestling so missed their Too Much stuff but they looked a great heel team when I saw some stuff lately.

What a shame, from what I heard he had the world at his feet as a youngster.

Destor 07-29-2018 05:49 PM

been watching USWA for the past few hours. ver nostalgic right now. was such a strong product.

Jordan 07-29-2018 06:20 PM

Man what a rough time he's had over the past decade or so. RIP Brian. I remember enjoying the angle where they wouldn't admit that he was Lawler's son, during the Light Heavyweight era, and JR would always call them out on it. Never cared much or Too Cool, but it was super over.

Helmsphere 07-29-2018 06:24 PM

I loved Too Cool despite thinking it was rather foolish, but still managed to have them winning me over.

I always use his Corner Top Rope Legdrop in the WWE Games for my guy.

Bad News Gertner 07-29-2018 07:23 PM

Maybe the biggest waste of talent that I can remember.

slik 07-29-2018 07:29 PM

I thought Too Cool was entertaining and they really reached their peak around the year 2000. Too Cool and Rikishi were crazy over.

Thoughts & Positive Vibes to the Lawler clan. I also think Meltzer owes them all a public apology for reporting Brian had passed away hours before he had but he'll just post "he was braindead, it was the same thing" and get off scot-free for shoddy journalism, as always.

Anyways, a shame to hear about, Brian let his demons win in the end.

ClockShot 07-29-2018 07:32 PM

Jesus. Lawler must be a wreck right now.

I know he's been in jail once or twice, but I'm shocked this happened.

R.I.P.

Bad News Gertner 07-29-2018 07:49 PM

After his last arrest for DUI I had a feeling this wasn't going to end well. He also got into a fight about a year or so ago against Chase Stevens I believe and got the living shit best out of him. Multiple facial fractures. He's also gotten numerous DUI's , fleeing the cops, not paying a hotel bill in the past year or so.

Bad News Gertner 07-29-2018 08:18 PM

New Jack going off on Brian Christopher on Facebook. It's exactly what you think it is.

Destor 07-29-2018 08:19 PM

His downfall was when lawler wouldnt give him his name for fear of coming off as aging if he had a son on tv. lawler was probably right from a business standpoint but there's a human impact there that lawler would never be able to grasp.

slik 07-29-2018 08:40 PM
